MC FANS, HEADS UP: MAVERICK IS HERE! Review of Forsaking All Others by Janine Infante Bosco is LIVE!!! @JanineBosco @ElleWoodsPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

A second chance with only person to hold your heart in their hands.

Holly Armstrong has held Maverick’s heart since he first met her. Too bad he couldn’t keep her. He made some bad decisions and let his MC come between them, but when things are tough, she always knows she can count on Maverick. When her life takes a turn, she was not prepared for, Maverick is there to pick her up and help her continue to live.

Maverick Burnside has known that Holly was his since she became legal. Even when he was being stupid and lost the best thing that he had in his life, his heart always belonged to Holly. It was a no brainer that he would always step up to help her and their kids out. It didn’t matter if she wore his ring or someone else’s she would always be his.

When the previous president of the New York Chapter of The Satan’s Knight’s MC comes to the president of the North Carolina Chapter asking for his help and assistants, Maverick only has to stop for a few minutes to think about whether he can help or not. Even if his help puts his chapter in danger, the New York chapter and the North Carolina chapter are connected and are family. When Jack Parrish comes to ask for your help, you really can’t say no. When things go south, Maverick will ask for Parrish’s help in return to get the answers to why the deal went the wrong way and who was behind the deception. There is tension between the chapters now and the one person that can clear that up is Jack Parrish. I love the New York chapter of The Satan’s Knight’s MC and the North Carolina chapter seems to be just as crazy, dangerous, and entertaining to read. I loved Maverick and Holly’s story and want more of the North Carolina chapter. I give this story a 4-star review and encourage any reader that loves MC romance, action and danger constantly lurking, and sexy, dangerous men to read any of Janine Infante Bosco’s MC books. You will not want them to end or put them down.

Review of The Carney’s Collection: A Boston Irish Dark Mafia Romance Books 1-3 by Sophie Austin

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Love the kids, hate the parents!

Rake: Finn and Sasha’s story

Finn is the second son of James Carney, but in his father’s eyes he’s just a pawn that he can use when he wants something. Until Finn refuses to do as he’s told, now he’s the son that James Carney treats like a hated employee. He still wants his father’s respect and approval, but at what cost? When he is assigned to take care of the Union Rep that is disrupting the Casino they own, Finn has all kinds of second thoughts about how to go about it.

Sasha is a young woman that is just trying to keep her brother and her in a home by working hard as a Union Representative, but she also has to support her dead-beat dad that treats both of them like they are his slaves and berates them as often as he can. Sasha just wants to help the employees of the Casino to get respect, decent wages, and treated as they are valued employees. When she gets in the cross hairs of James Carney her life is on shaky ground and she has to protect the employees, herself, and her younger brother at all costs.

Finn and Sasha’s story is a captive to lover story. It’s dangerous and intriguing. Sasha stands up to James Carney as well as Finn, she may be shaking on the inside, but she’s strong and hides her fear. After the first encounter with James Carney’s men, she has PTSD, but that doesn’t stop Finn from adding to it. He has a lot to apologize for and find a way to get Sasha to forgive him for them to move on and find a path together because they have figured out that they can’t live their lives without each other in it. Finn will defy his father to make Sasha happy. He no longer cares what his father thinks. He has his own path now and his own plans for a happy life.

Grift: Patrick and Jessica’s story

Patrick is the oldest Carney son and the muscle of the family as well. He doesn’t have the respect of their father either, but he doesn’t seem to mind that. He’s still loyal and will get redemption for the family if someone is stealing from them or hurts one of his siblings. So, when he takes care of a card counter in the back of the casino before he even knows who the person is, he gets reamed by his father and is told he has to marry a woman he’s never met for redemption from the mistake he made by acting now and not asking any questions.

Jessica is the daughter of Senator Kensington and the sister of the card counter. Her father is a huge investor in the Casino and has threatened to pull his support after the mix up of his son being beat to within a hair of his life. Jessica is not a valued member of her family either due to a scandal when she was in college, but the problem is that the scandal was not even her fault. She has no idea what the videos entailed, and her family just shunned her afterwards.

When Patrick and Jessica are forced together, Patrick tries to give Jessica the option of moving on in her life after he helps her discover what happened to her in college, but their lives are intertwined now and now that she has the choice, she wants to stay married and make a life with Patrick. Neither one has had family support or love from their parents for quite a while and if they can find that with each other and make a happy life then why shouldn’t they?

Wild Card: Gio and Catriona’s story

I love Catriona, she’s strong, sassy, beautiful and a woman that takes no prisoners. When she finds herself in the hands of a man that wants money for her return only to meet a man that wants to protect her and save her, she finds that she is not as alone as she thought. Her siblings will go to any lengths to find her, rescue her and protect her. Something she doubted for a while. She’s the daughter of James Carney and the one that he doesn’t treat special like her older and younger sister. She’s the daughter that rebels against her father and once she is rescued, she really finds herself and her happiness.

Gio De Luca has hated the Carney family for years. James Carney is the reason for Gio being an orphan and the cause of his pain for losing his parents, or so he’s believed for years. Until his uncle becomes the man that Gio wants to destroy for hurting an innocent woman and putting Gio’s nonna in danger as well as himself.

Lorenzo, Gio’s uncle is a wanna be gangster with a chip on his shoulder and when he messes up a delivery, he puts his whole family in danger with the head of the mafia in Providence. So, he thinks he’s found a way to cover the loss, but he destroys the one thing that Gio is so happy about and he also sets into motion the destructive path of his relationship with his nephew and his own mother. When he’s desperate and trying to show Gio that he’s the strong, powerful one he confesses to his past discretions and Gio’s hate for him skyrockets. Lorenzo’s destructive path brings Gio and Catriona together in the worst way, but they find their own path when the danger is settled.

I really enjoyed all of these stories and they proved that you don’t always have to be a product of your environment or upbringing. The Carney children are loyal to each other at least and when they are put in the position of showing that loyalty, they are stronger for it and stronger together. I will be purchasing the next collection to read as well, because I need to know how things end for the Carney’s. Then it will be onto the Doyle’s. This was my first read of Sophie Austin, but I will be looking out for more of her books.

Review of Aces Wild (Smokey Bandits MC, Book #1) by K.L. Ramsey @KLRamsey5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

A second chance at an HEA with an unexpected woman.

Ace is the president of the Smokey Bandits a club under the Royal B’s MC. His old lady, Charity, decided to look for greener pastures and took his little girl with her when she left, now he just wants his daughter back. He is also a partner in the casino and between both he is a man that is well off. When his little girl shows back up in the bar/club house with his old lady’s sister, Ace is happy to have his Arabella back with him.

Trinity is the younger sister to Charity and has her head on straight and her life on the path that she wants. However, it’s a lonely path and after dropping “Bella” off with Ace, Trinity is second guessing it. She doesn’t even know Ace, Charity is a woman that is always looking for the next best thing, how can Trinity be sure that little “Bella” is safe with Ace? She’s also like to have her niece in her life, so she decides to go see Ace and things find a way of working themselves out.

I really liked this story. I love Ms. Ramsey’s characters in all of her books. At the beginning of Aces Wild, I had such a different picture of Ace than what I found as I read the book. He’s two different people in a way, but he’s kind, generous, and a sexy single dad. Trinity seems to be a woman with a chip on her shoulder at first, but I think that just her first impressions and while reading the book, she is a warm, generous and sassy woman that just wants companionship and to feel wanted and loved. She’s has a hard life and now that she’s following her dreams things take a turn for her and she has to make a decision. I give this story a 4-star review and look forward to more of the series and any books by K.L. Ramsey, really.

Review of Blaze’s Spitfire (Dublin Falls Archangel’s Warriors MC, Book #9) by Ciara St. James

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

An angsty, frustrating awesome read

Blaze has returned from helping the Louisville chapter of the Archangels Warriors set up a bike repair and custom work business. He knows that a new mechanic has been hired for the auto shop, but he doesn’t know who it is. He has a history with auto shops and women being involved in them from his past and he is not a fan, so when he finds out that the new hire is a woman, his prejudice comes to the forefront and he can’t help himself from showing it.

Teagan is the younger sister of a prospect for the Dublin Falls Archangel’s Warriors and a really good mechanic. When the danger of her past coming back to destroy her or harm her, she decides to move to Dublin Falls where her brother is to be sure that she is safe. She’s attracted to the biker that just returned, but their first meeting was not a good one and the fact that he despises her for some reason keeps her away from him, until she’s attacked, then all bets are off.

This story was angsty, frustrating, sexy, and great. These two have to work so hard for a relationship and neither one of them seems to be able to communicate properly or to keep themselves from saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. They are explosive together and when they are trying to be together. They both need to shup up, think before they talk, and stay focused on what is going on around them. The trouble is that they both have insecurities and they come to the surface all the time when these two interact. I love the book and the characters. I loved that Tanner stands up to anyone to protect his little sister, even if he is a prospect. I give this book a 5-star review and can’t wait for more of Ciara’s books.

Review of Provoke (B.A.D. Inc, Series, Book #4) by Angel Devlin and Tracy Lorraine

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Jackie and Oliver have had an on again off again relationship for years. Few know her past or where she comes from, Oliver is one of those that does. Jackie loves Oliver, but something is missing. She’s confused and when her past comes back and she’s in danger her life becomes clearer, and her eyes are opened.

This series has great characters, and the story line is interesting. The characters are powerful, dark and loyal to each other. They don’t worry too much about others around them outside of their circle, but those in their circle are tight and will do anything for each other. When the break comes from within the group, things can get pretty rough for everyone. Jack has to make the guys see that they need to step up to the plate this time. I enjoyed Jack and Oliver’s story, but it was a tough read. Oliver’s heartbreak is heart wrenching. All the employees of B.A.D Inc., have had a rough childhood and they are a family of choice. The story of Jack’s childhood is a rough one, but the fact that she found these guys and they formed their own family is great. I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it along with the other books in the series to readers that like strong, sassy, powerful women that can hold their own with the men that run a large corporation and in fact tells them what to do most of the time.

Review of 🔥Bound by Redemption🔥 (Ravage MC Bound Series)🏍 by Ryan Michele is 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄!! @EJBookPromos @Ryan_Michele

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Micah has to prove himself to the Ravage MC members now that he’s back from his tour in the Marines. He has to show them that he has grown up and is no longer the mouthy boy that left after causing so much trouble for the MC. He’s grown into a man and has grown as a person. He has also just learned that he left more than his MC family behind when went overseas.

Ensley has had to survive since she left her family and went on the run. She and her sister Katie are now living the life they’ve chosen rather than the life they were told to live. The only trouble is that the danger they left has followed them and not only are Katie, Ensley, and Remy in danger, but the Ravage MC has taken a hit as well. Luckily for Austyn, Micah is a grown man and his training kicked in when he needed it the most.

I really enjoyed this story of Micah and Ensley’s second chance to find happiness and grow together. Ensley has some hurdles to overcome from her past, but so does Micah. Remy is such a cutie and full of life how could you not love her? The Ravage MC has to find a way to push past the hurt and betrayal from Micah and ask for his help to figure out who targeted Austyn’s home and they will need to work together to keep Ensley, Katie and Remy safe as well. I love the characters and the story in this book and series. I love that the MC has the top-of-the-line equipment and then find out that Micah has some better toys that they can use. It is a sweet story but has danger and destruction as well. I give the book a 4-star review and recommend it to readers that enjoy MC romance with dysfunctional families that fight but also have each other’s backs when needed. I look forward to reading more of the series and hope that Katie has her story too.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Stains of Desire (Behind Closed Doors, Book #5) by Maggie Cole @GiveMeBooksPR #TuesdayBook Blog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I’m not sure how, but each book seems to get better than the last. Yet, each book has been some of the best I’ve read in a series. I love the way these books are written with each character having their own book running parallel to the others, but while each book is about the path that the characters take to get their rescued partner to safety, each path has their own obstacles and situations to deal with. Each one has a deadly path no matter how you look at it. These books are full of action, danger, passion and loyalty from these men and strong women that hold a lot of secrets. It’s a series about corrupt politicians, powerful players, and the pawns in their power plays. I’ve loved each and every book in this series so far and I am so excited for the final book Risks of Temptation.

Axel and Penelope have an added obstacle in their path to freedom and safety, they have to find Millie, Penelope’s daughter that was taken from her several months after her abduction. With Penelope being the first woman to have been taken, she was with Santiago the longest and while I expected her time with Santiago to have been more brutal physically than it was, she endured a great pain and heartbreak when her daughter was taken from her and used as leverage over her.

Axel has promised Penelope to find Millie and bring her to safety but at what cost? He has to find a way to fulfill his promise, but his heart is breaking with each turn that he takes, and he isn’t sure that he can fulfill his promise to Penelope. The strength that these women have is amazing. They hold so much inside to protect other that it’s hard to believe they can still be as strong as they are to keep going to find safety and then to keep working with the men that rescued them to make sure that the powers that be don’t succeed in their path to rule. I am anxious to read the final book in the series but on the other hand, I am not excited for this series to end. It’s been a wild and wonderful ride in South America and these couples deserve their HEA, but I hate to see it end. I am anxious to read Malin and Emilia’s story though. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend this book and series to readers that are looking for something along the lines of espionage, secret dealings, and strong women that can take down some of the most powerful men in the world.

Review of K.L. Savage’s New Release – Thrasher (Royal Bastards MC) @klsavage_author #RoyalBastardsMC #mcromance #romanticsuspense

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Thrasher and Delilah’s story is a forbidden union, but Thrasher doesn’t care. He knows that Delilah is for him and he will go to any length to make her his. He doesn’t care if she is the sister of the President of the Ruthless Kings MC and a friend, Reaper. He may have gone to Las Vegas to ask Reaper for the repayment of the favor from years ago.

Delilah is Reaper’s younger sister and a woman that has been through her own tragic days. Now she’s quiet and reserved. However, her strength and sassiness come out when she’s around Thrasher because he makes her blood boil when he’s nearby. In more ways than one.

I loved this story of an ex-soldier and a quiet, scared girl that both find their strength and the one that can repair their hearts and help them to heal. The Royal Bastards of Portland, Oregon have a beautiful compound and they support their community. Portland could be a new start for Delilah, but it could put her in more danger than they are aware of. She’s going nuts being kept under Reaper’s care and not having a life of her own. The Royal Bastard’s will protect Delilah without a doubt and with their lives. Reaper has to learn to back off and give Delilah her freedom and let her live her life. It’s hard for Reaper to let go though, he has only just met her and has so much to make up for. I loved this story, and I cannot wait for more stories of the Royal Bastards of Portland, Oregon. They sound like a great group of brothers. I give this story a 5-star review.

Review of Savage Liar: Sinfully Savage, Book 2 by Kristen Luciani @HeyHattersBlog @kristen_luciani

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Sergio wants to prove his worth to his brother and the others for a seat at the Table with their partners in their takeover of the gambling industry in the U.S. Sergio has an idea and has to get the owners of a successful nightclub to agree to selling to Sergio. The only problem is that the owners have their own problems and want to see how far they can push Sergio.

Jaelyn and her older brother Nate have had their dark days and they are still trying to keep themselves out of the limelight so that they are not noticed or found in Las Vegas. They own a string of successful night clubs in Las Vegas, but they also have to hide from the cartel that they took revenge on three years prior.

I loved the chemistry between Sergio and Jaelyn, they are perfect for each other. They’re both strong willed, focused and very passionate. The story is a great story with great characters. The danger and hidden agendas cause more trouble for these two than they really need. They both have their agendas that they are trying to follow, but the passion and steam between these two are off the charts and they can’t deny them. I love the story and the characters, and I look forward to more books in the series. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend the book to any reader that enjoy mafia romance, steamy stories, strong women that push the men in their lives daily, you will love this story.

Review of I Thee Take (To Have and To Hold Duet #2) Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance by Natasha Knight @NatashaKnight13 @GiveMeBooksPR #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He’s been betrayed again. His new wife is missing and most of his men are dead at the house where no one was supposed to know he owned. Who found her, who took her, and most importantly, who is betraying Cristiano Grigori? Cristiano knows what it looks like, but can he trust the blatant look of the ambush? He’s not a man who trusts easily and the way he left his wife is eating at him, now she’s been taken, and the only survivor looks to be the one that has betrayed him.

Scarlett De La Cruz Grigori has been taken on the night of her honeymoon. Her husband wasn’t home with her, but that doesn’t mean that he left her to this fate, either. Scarlett is a pawn in a much larger game than she has any idea of. Even Cristiano has no idea the lengths that some will go to destroy her and her Cristiano. Scarlett has always been a fighter and she won’t quit now. The only problem is that the men that have taken her have implicit instructions not to hurt her, so when she fights, others around her pay the price and she can’t keep letting that happen.

The ending to the To Have and To Hold Duet was an action-packed story with betrayal, set ups, and dark, twisted characters. I loved every bit of it and want more. I know this is a duet and this was the end of the duet, but there is still more to the characters that needs to be told. The characters have so much more to share, and I really hope that Ms. Knight is in agreement. I love the characters and the story. Cristiano and Dante have unfinished business and I need to know how it will pan out. I give this story a 5-star review and I look forward to the next book that Ms. Knight writes. She always knows how to draw in the reader and holds them so tight they have no choice but to buckle up and hang on for the ride. Her books are some of my favorite books to read.
