Review of Betrayed Honor (Ivanov Crime Family, Book #3) by Zoe Blake @zoeblakebooks and @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ 4 out of 5

She’s the little sister of his boss’ and five years younger than him. She’s off limits in so many ways, but his heart can’t see any of those reasons. Mikhail is the head of security for the Ivanov’s and although he is trusted by them to keep the family safe and works with them on some of their business deals, he doesn’t have the pedigree to marry Nadia Ivanov, or to have her be his.

He’s the dark, quiet, handsome shadow that follows her wherever she goes, even if it’s only with his eyes. Nadia has had a crush on Mikhail Volkov since he started working for her family. As she got older and he rejected her more than once, she figured it was time to move on and find someone that would love her and care about her. The only problem was that when she put herself in danger and Mikhail barely made it to her in time, it changed their relationship completely.

I loved this story of the forbidden fruit finally being able to find the love of the person that they have wanted for so long. Nadia and Mikhail are perfect together and even though the whole family treated Nadia as an innocent, naïve young girl, she proved to all of them that she was fine with the family business and could find her path in life with the one man that would do anything to keep her safe and protected. Mikhail may be a big, tough, quiet Russian enforcer and security for the family, but his heart becomes soft mush when Nadia’s life is in jeopardy and he rescues her. I loved the Ivanov brother’s stories and Nadia’s story was just as action packed, entertaining, and enjoyable to read. I give this book a 4-star review and look forward to more books by Zoe Blake. She’s always a favorite author of mine.
