Who needs more than bikes and willing women? Not Cutter. Until he meets Greta, a former biker princess who turned her back on club life. She challenges him every step of the way, and Cutter doesn’t tolerate disobedience.
Greta lives by one rule: No Bikers. She didn’t escape her father’s MC and build a new life for herself just to be brought down by a dirty biker. Not even hot, domineering Cutter could change her mind.
Cutter is ready to play dirty. In their battle of wills, he begins to master her deepest desires. Can she find the inner strength to submit to him? Meanwhile, a danger from the past lurks in the shadows—ready to pounce.
Cutter’s Claim is a steamy, standalone bad boy biker romance with plenty of heat. Looking to ride in the fast lane? Rev it up with one click.
Lachlan has waited for five years for Fiona to be a woman, but he still feels that he has to keep his feelings from her and the family so that he will not hurt her and to protect himself from his brothers and their retribution if he follows his feelings and might hurt her. Has tried to ignore his feelings, but he has always protected her in one way or another and when she finds herself alone in Boston, MA and has no idea where her guard is or how to find her way back to her dorm room, Lachlan will not sit idle and let something happen to her. He finds his chance to step up and protect her as well as claim her, with the acceptance of the head of the family.
Fiona has known since she was old enough to realize what love is, that she was in love with Lachlan. Now that she is eighteen, she thought he would accept his feelings as well as hers and that he would spend more time with her, especially on her eighteenth birthday. She is disappointed that he seems to be just as distant when she sees him at her party and makes a rash decision that will put her in danger. However, she’s a smart girl and will help the family find the ones responsible for the current danger the family is facing.
I love Lachlan and he’s a great match for Fiona. This story had me feeling angsty with the way these two kept dancing around their feelings and kept refusing to realize they were made for each other. The family has mixed feelings about them being together, but they also have seen these two for the past five years and it shouldn’t have been a surprise to any of them. Ms. Henry has done a great job writing the characters of the McCarthy family and The Clan. The men are domineering, protective and loyal to The Clan. The women are sassy, strong and powerful with their men behind them. They are also fiercely protective of the family and the ones they love. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for more in this series. I am loving it.

About the Author:
T. L. Mahrt is a former business owner, where she utilized her education in cosmetology, barbering and massage therapy for several years. She was raised on and is currently living on a farm in Nebraska, where you can find her running barefoot in the country side with her loving husband and inspiring children and massive dogs.
After having her son, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, she made the life altering decision to stay home to care for her two children and pursue her love for writing. She has a love for romance and poetry where, her overactive imagination, along with her adventures and up beat lifestyle drives her inspiration for her writing.
Emma has four men vying for her attention and love. She was orphaned when she was a young girl and grew up in the system for the most part. One of the men that wants her for his own is twisted and he found a way to keep himself in her life for a time while she was in the Foster System, but then Jarrett Gage lost track of her when he left the job as her counselor. One man wants to marry her and is in love with her, but she believes he is the man that abused her and hurt her when she was a little girl. Her belief that he was the shadow man, was never disputed by Rick. One man is in love with her, but his job is to make sure that nothing happens to her, track down missing people and observe from afar, until she becomes the person he needs to track down to save and protect. Andy is the man that saves Emma in her dreams, can he be the one to save her in real life? Can he save her from the Mr. JD after her memory begins to come back? Then there is the man that loves her and is her bodyguard. She believes she’s in love with Chance, but now that her memory has returned and she realizes everything that she pushed down deep in her psyche, she is no longer the woman that Chance fell in love with and she has realized that she is not in love with him.
This story is was the first book I read in this series by T.L. Mahrt, but it did not distract from the story, nor did I feel lost while reading it. It is full of action, suspense, danger and great characters that have a lot going on. There are some parts of this story that I wanted to read a few lines ahead because I was expecting someone to jump out of the shadows. The author did a great job of keeping me on my seat wondering if and when Jarrett would show up and reclaim Emma. It also had me wondering which character on the team was untrustworthy and questionable in protecting Emma. I give this story a 4-star review and hope to read more from T.L. Mahrt in the near future. More of Emma and the characters in Within The Shadows would be great.
Power. Money. Status. Whatever I want I get. And if something stands in my way? I conquer and destroy it.
I’m a monster with no redeeming qualities. A hunter who seeks his prey so viciously nothing can stop me. My prey hides in the shadows thinking it might save him from my wrath. It won’t.
A true hunter knows one rule: Every prey can be lured out of the darkness with the right bait. And I just found mine. His daughter.
The monster inside me craves to possess her. A beauty who ends up trapped in a castle by the horrible beast. Seducing and then breaking her will be my greatest conquest.
After all, la vida es cruel. Life is cruel. And so am I.
There are a few things people know about me.
I’m Scottish with an accent to prove it.
I really hate pants.
I’m a Ruthless King. One thing people don’t know?
I don’t fight because I have to.
I breathe it.
I live it.
I love it. Flesh.
Blood.
Brass Knuckles. I lived my life fighting for nothing.
Until I saw something worth fighting for.
Her. Dawn belongs to one of my rivals.
An Irish bloke with more power than common sense.
The kind of man stupid enough to use it.
And stupid enough to put bruises on her pretty face. This fight won’t be
my last.
But it may be his.
If he tries anything stupid with me?
He’s gonna find out that my MC always has my back. Even if it starts a war…
K.L. Savage decided they were tired of looking for the kind
of books they wanted to read. They had an itch that needed to be scratched, and
as every girl knows, nothing scratches better than an alpha.
They write about gritty, alpha males, sometimes their dark sides, and the women
they love.
If you have the same itch, their alpha males should fix that.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5. If I could add 5 more, I would!
My favorite so far, no doubt! I love the cover as well.
Skirt is a man that has done things that are not legal, he’s kept secrets from his Prez, and he can be a ruthless man, when need be. However, when it comes to sex and the heart, he is as pure as can be. He does not partake in the club girls he’s waiting to find the one woman that steals his heart and holds it captive. He’s Scottish and sexy. He’s funny, loyal, and deadly when he needs to be.
She’s stumbling through the dessert and falls in the middle of the road causing Skirt to wreck his bike to avoid hitting her. She’s been beaten and made to walk home in the hot dessert sun of Las Vegas by a man that she can’t seem to get away from. Her only thought is to find her son and protect and get him away from a man that would kill him and Dawn if he knew her secret.
I love Skirt. Of all of the Ruthless Kings he is my favorite so far. He has a heart of gold and yet, he can bring on the demon side when he needs to. His boyish like charms are sweet and endearing. He is a bada** biker, but his loyalty to the MC outshines everything. I love the Ruthless Kings the women they find to complete them are just as strong and lovable as they are. I can’t wait to read Pirate’s story he seems so broken. I give this book a 5-star review and if I could give it five more, I would. I could not put this book down and read it in one day. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to readers that love MC, strong women that know how to fight, and the men that will do anything to protect them and take care of them.

Jennifer
Hanks is the author
of The Dimarco Series as well as The Elite Securities Series. Her stories are
contemporary romance and romantic suspense, all with the underlying message of
the power and strength in love. She’s also a sucker for a Happily-Ever-After.
Her love of reading and books in general started at a very young age and has
steadily grown into a love of writing as well. She admits to being addicted to
all things romance and has no plans of quitting her habit. Jennifer lives in
Pennsylvania with her two children. When she’s not reading or writing, she can
be found with her kids at their various activities. Her house is frequently
filled with any combination of her children’s friends, nieces, nephews and a
variety of pets.
He’s been deep undercover for a while now with one goal in mind. Take down the The Black Widows MC, especially the president of the national chapter. Nick Collins is determined to destroy The Black Widows MC because they are a ruthless, dangerous, and twisted MC. After being undercover for so long, he is now the right-hand man of the president of the North Carolina chapter and has gained quite the intel on the MC and the inner workings. He is tired of being in this life and undercover and is ready to regain his life and fix the damage he caused with the woman he can’t seem to get out of his mind or his heart.
Madeline Hughes has been interested in Nick Collins since she first laid eyes on him. She was lucky enough to get one night with him and after the way he left her and ignored her contact after that night, she is trying to move on, but she can’t seem to get past her feelings for him, no matter how hard she tries. She also has a constant reminder of him, so that doesn’t help her moving on either.
I really enjoyed this story. It is action packed and has wonderful characters. These two have a lot of baggage to overcome to find their peace and reconnect to move on together. Nick is constantly in danger and even when he gets out of the undercover assignment, he is still worried about retribution, but he will find that it will come from an unlikely angle. Nick was trying to keep Madeline out of danger from the MC, but in doing so, he missed the danger lurking right in front of both of them.
If you like MC, police procedural, dangerous men, and women with a lot of sass and strength, you will enjoy this story. Madeline has a strength that even she doesn’t realize at times and the men around her are even in awe of her strength and determination. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to the next book in the Elite Securities Series.
I had it all. The luxury apartment, hot dates, and the big office to go with long nights at the office. Life was perfect. But after a one-night stand, two little lines on a pregnancy test, and three lost legal cases later… Well, overnight I went from career lawyer to single mom.
It’s okay, I can do it. I’m ready to face this alone until…
Along comes Nathaniel Chadwick. Billionaire adrenaline junky. Everyone’s favorite playboy… and my sister’s brother-in-law. He’s as hot as he is jaded. When it comes to relationships and family, he’d rather jump off a cliff. I wrote him off long ago, except since he learned about the baby he’s been by my side.
Is it pregnancy hormones or is there something real happening between us? I didn’t expect any of this…most of all him.
***
Didn’t Expect You is a billionaire romance of unexpected pregnancies, exciting encounters, and flirty love. It includes a very confused dog, a precious newborn, and a family you might want to belong to. This chick-lit novel is a romantic comedy with a HEA guaranteed!
USA Today
bestselling author of contemporary romance, Natasha Knight specializes in dark,
tortured heroes. Happily-Ever-Afters are almost always guaranteed, but she
likes to put her characters through hell to get them there. She’s evil like
that.
She lost so much that night. Now she’s about to lose herself as well as her freedom. It has been eight years since she heard that voice and saw those eyes, now she has to face him again and she has no idea what is in store for her. Cristina is a pawn in his family’s revenge for their loss the same night that involved her family and theirs.
He is not a nice man; he has done a lot to get to the head of the family and restore his families name. He has to take Cristina as his payment now, but he is finding it hard to do as his father wants him to do for retribution. He has done some things that he is not proud of but restoring his family at the top of the game was needed. Damian is confused by his feelings over Cristina and he has decided that he will do what he needs to but that he will not do what his father expects.
I loved this dark, twisted mafia story. Damian is a haunted soul that is determined to lead his family, but he may have some obstacles to overcome and retain his spot as the leader of the Di Santo family. He is feared by most men and women and gets away with a lot, but there are few that stand in the shadows waiting to take what he has and make it theirs. Cristina could be more of a pawn than Damian thinks she is. Their connection is confusing to Cristina. She was young when their lives first crossed, and she is now eighteen and finds herself as property of Damian DiSanto with no warning or preparation. If you enjoy a dark twisted story of possession and mafia connections this story will not disappoint. I give it a 5-star review and cannot wait for the conclusion of Unholy Union. Cristina’s strong will and instinct to survive could be tested even more in the next book.
It was just a typical manic Monday until the blue and red lights flashed behind my Harley. The cop who pulled me over was good-looking, if you’re into clean cut guys with expressive eyes. He was also cocky and gave me three tickets.
One for speeding.
Another for blowing a light.
And the third for not producing an insurance card.
Jerk.
When he finally let me go, I realized I was more than an hour late for my first day as an intern for the infamous advice column, Ask Ida.
So much for trying to be the only one in my family with a legit job.
Lucky for me, my new boss, Soraya, didn’t fire me on the spot. But that’s where my luck ran out.
A couple of weeks later, in between fetching coffee and finding the missing paperclips, I received a text message from my dad, the president of the Corrupt Hellraisers MC, ordering me to the compound.
Yeah, try explaining that to your new boss.
Hey, I’ve gotta go. Everyone in my family is a criminal and we’re all on lockdown.
You’re fired.
Sure enough when I arrived at the clubhouse, everyone was in cuffs and the jerk who pulled me over was the one ushering my father out of the clubhouse.
They say you never see the bad guys coming.
Well, I didn’t see the cocky jerk coming either.

The moment
I saw Rayne broken and bloodied, I knew I wasn’t leaving without her.
As the
president of the Houston Defiance MC, my job is to protect. And there’s no
taming the rage building inside my body, screaming at me to shield her from the
husband who’s beating her day in and day out.
Taking her
was never in my plans, but plans change.
I don’t care if she’s married.
Or that her husband’s a cop.
Our
connection is explosive, it’s dangerous, it’s intoxicating.
And I’m fast being swept up in her storm.
It’s
something I can’t ignore.
I thought
the enemy was clear, and I was ready to fight.
But maybe
there’s a threat we didn’t see coming?
Maybe
there’s someone closer to us than we ever could have imagined.
I start
moving toward the exit. My chest heats so fucking much it’s like I’m on fire. I
don’t know what the hell’s happening right now, but having Rayne in my arms,
knowing while I’m holding her, and no fucking person in the world can touch
her, it has my body flaming in adrenaline.
This woman
is bad news.
Real bad
fucking news.
Her eyes
linger on me as I walk with her from the bedroom, down the hall, and outside to
the waiting van. Having her right up against me like this is not doing my cock
any favors. She smells like peaches and fucking sunsets.
How the fuck can someone smell like a sunset? It’s like I’m going out of my damn
mind right now.
She’s
invading my senses as I help her inside the van, placing her in the rear seat.
My
protector mode rears its head yet again as I lean over her grabbing at the seat
belt to pull over her. Our faces come in line with each other.
Rayne
scrunches up her face, reaching for the seat belt. “I can put on my own seat
belt.”
I jerk my
head back as she removes it from my grip while trying to gain control of the
situation. I pull it back from her and click it into position. “I’m sure you
can, but I need to ensure you’re taken care of. Can’t get you out of this
situation and have you injured on the way into the club because you’re not
buckled in properly.”
Her eyes
widen. “There are so many things wrong with what you just said. One, you think
I’m incapable of something as simple as doing up a seat belt. And two, you
believe your driving is so bad I’m going to be injured on the way to wherever
it is you’re taking me?”
“That’s not
what I meant—”
“Then you
need to think about how you word shit, ‘cause you’re coming across as an
arrogant ass.”
I glare at
her smug, insolent, beautiful face. “You have an attitude problem, cherry
bomb.”
She snorts.
“And you think you can control me because I get beaten up by my husband? He
might walk all over me, but you…” she tilts her head smugly, “… not so much.”
Hmm. She has a feisty side.
I lean in
closer. Her eyes widen, and her breathing hitches. She’s affected. “I like your fighting spirit, Rayne. You are a wild one.”
She leans
in closer, we’re only an inch apart, the smell of peach surrounds me. It takes
every ounce of strength I have not to rush forward pressing my lips to hers. My
eyes stare into her incandescent emerald green eyes, they’re so alive, so
alight with fire. She has so much fight in her. As she licks her bottom lip, my
cock twitches when she whispers, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
A low hum
vibrates from my chest as I exhale, backing away from Rayne slowly.

He’s now the President of the Houston Defiance MC. One tragedy led to his presidency, and the loss of his family, all in one day. Zero can’t let his younger sister and brother go, but he can’t keep them in Houston either, so he’ll have to compromise and send someone to follow them and protect them. Zero isn’t ready to take the reins from his father. A year later, and he’s ready for his sister and brother to come home. He’ll have to handle it with kid gloves if he wants them back in Houston, and he will also find more than he expected when he goes to reclaim his family.
Rayne is a pawn for her husband to get what he wants. She is being used by her husband against her family, but she believes that their marriage is a marriage of convenience because they both come from wealthy families. However, she has no clue of the real reason Chuck married her. Her life is a living nightmare and a chance meeting one night could change everything for her. She will just have to bide her time and wait for her white knight to show up now to save her.
This story was full of action, suspense, heat, and great characters. I loved it and hated to come to the end. I wanted so much more. There is angst and some twists that are very unexpected. Rayne will find a safe place to be the person she wants to be and Zero will find a way to move on from the pain of his past and the loss of his family. They will both fight to protect themselves but realize that there’s no use in the fighting the inevitable. They have great chemistry and will do anything to protect the other, even if it means putting themselves in danger to do it. Rayne will find a strength that she didn’t know resided in her with the help of Zero and the Houston Defiance MC. She may be trouble waiting to happen, but she will also be a huge asset to the MC, they just don’t know it right away.
I loved this story and give it 5-stars. I look forward to more stories in the Houston Defiance MC books and can’t wait to read Wraith’s story. If you love MC love stories and strong women that have been beaten down and raised back up, you will love Explosive. I did.
I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
