I loved this first book in the RBMC – Oklahoma City Chapter.
Kevlar is given the opportunity to return home after he and his brother left abruptly after tragedy struck, and found the RBMC to join. They return to Oklahoma City to find that not only are the Dixia Mafia still there and controlling the city, but that a rival MC that the RBMC have been dealing with is trying to move into OKC as well. He’s home to take back his city, and reconnect with his blood family. Will he be welcomed back with open arms or not?
Kelsey is not a fan of bikers and to say that she’s impressed with her date, that her best friend left her stranded with is a stretch. Pete was not the kind of man that Kelsey found attractive or interesting, and she wanted away from him as soon as possible. However, she’s going to find that her night will not end the way she’d hoped. Kevlar becomes Kelsey’s knight in shining armor and her perception of bikers is swayed by his protection of her and by extension her best friend, Carrie.
I really enjoyed this first book in the OKC RBMC by Victoria Jayne, it incorporates her Dixia Mafia characters that I as well. She does a great job with character development and the stories grab your attention from the beginning and pull you in. I can’t wait to read more of the OKC RBMC to come. I’m looking forward to Kid’s story.

Lucifer Wielding the gavel for the Fallen Demons MC means I take what I want. And Jessica is no exception.Β The moment I laid eyes on her, something raw and primal awakened within me. She was young, beautiful, and desperate to outrun her past. And I was the selfish bastard who needed to possess every curve of her body and own all the jagged edges of her soul. My recklessness nearly destroyed her, so I did everything in my power to make it right. Now she sees me as a monster who has trapped her in a lie.Β I’ve kept my distance, watching from the shadows while she tries to heal. Jessie’s gone to hell and back, and every time she looks in the mirror all she sees are reminders of the pain. Her mother’s mistakes. My betrayal. Her brand new scars.Β She wants to let the darkness consume her, but I didn’t watch her fight for her life just to throw it all away. And I won’t rest until the woman I’ve claimed can see herself through my eyes. As a goddess. A warrior. A siren. The woman I secretly call my wife.

Getting involved with someone new after my divorce was the last thing I expected. Then I met him. Loyal. A younger bad boy who belongs to a motorcycle club. I shouldnβt want him. Especially when he is only a few years older than my daughter, but Iβve come to crave the safety and peace he brings me. The only problem is my daughter wonβt accept him. Do I risk my relationship with my daughter for true happiness or do I let him slip through my fingers and make the sacrifice?
Loyal
My sole focus has always been the club that took me in when I needed it most. Until I saw her. Sami. The single mom who is a decade older than me. I knew I wanted her the moment I laid eyes on her. Itβs why I bought a house to be close to her. There are powers that be that donβt want us together though. Society, her daughter, and the sleazy ex-husband who seems to think that she belongs to him. Iβm not one to give up easy though. I will fight for her until my dying breath.
Loyal and Sami were meant to be together. Sami’s life may have taken a side path for a bit, but she needed it to wait for Loyal to get to where he is now. They still have some obstacles to overcome before they’ll get their HEA, but it will be worth it.
Sami’s ex-husband is a piece of work and holds their daughter in the clutches of his mind games that won’t let her have a good relationship with Sami. The stress that this causes for all involved, except her ex, causes a lot of trouble. However, Loyal won’t give up on Sami or her daughter. He’s patient, kind, and a man that will go to all lengths to find a way to keep them in his life, including getting information and help on how to help her daughter to accept their relationship. It’s great how he’s willing to be so patient with both of them.
I love this series and this story did not disappoint. I look forward to more in this series to come.

βRae, youβve got two boys in that house, andβ¦β βIβve always had two boys in that house, and we managed just fine.β I wasnβt one hundred percent correct on my stance, far from it. Dan was right that I didnβt know much about Walker, and I needed to be careful, especially where the boys were concerned. But I was winning this little debate of ours, so I decided to bring it home with the final punch. βYou just donβt like the fact that Iβm finally moving on.β βThatβs not what this is.β βIsnβt it?β I thought back to my night with Walker. I couldnβt remember the last time that being around a man had felt that simple, that easy. There were no questions I wasnβt ready to answer. No looks that made me feel like I owed him something. He just let me be, and somehow, that made me want to give him more. Dan was just the opposite, and I was over it. βYou donβt get to do this. Not anymore.β βDo what?β βShow up here and make demands like you still have a say.β βIβm their father.β βAnd you always will be, but that doesnβt give you the right to control what I do.β I stepped closer. βYouβre building a whole new life with someone else, Dan. A new wife. A new house. A new babyβ¦β His eyes flickered with anger, but that didnβt stop me from adding, βAnd yet, youβre here questioning me on who I chose to spend my time with.β For a second, he didnβt say anything. There wasnβt anything he could say. He knew I was right. I was about to push further when I heard a faint creak behind me. One of the boys was up, and they were listening. Damn. Danβs eyes flickered toward the door, signaling to me that heβd heard it too. He leaned in closer and whispered, βI expect the boys to be at my place by one.β βTheyβll be there.β βGood.β He grumbled something under his breath, then turned and charged down the steps, heading for his truck. I stood there for a moment, watching until he pulled out of the drive. Once he was gone, I punched the code into the keypad and opened the door. When I stepped back inside, I didnβt see any sign of the boys, but Milo, our enormous and always ravenous cat, was sitting at the foot of the stairs. The second he spotted me, he darted for my feet, weaving in and out of my legs while meowing like a lunatic. This was his way of telling me that he was on the verge of starvation and may pass at any moment. βOkay. Okay. Iβm coming.β As expected, he followed me into the kitchen and only tripped me twice as I grabbed his food from the cabinet. I opened the can and was about to put it in his bowl when he nudged my hand, pleading with me to hurry. I shook my head and scowled, βOh, come on. You are not that hungry.β That got me another meow that I swear sounded like βmomma.β But the second the food dropped into his bowl, I was all but forgotten. He started chowing down like there was no tomorrow. I gave him a quick rub across the head, then walked over to the counter and turned on the coffee pot. While I stood there letting it percolate, I thought back over my conversation with Dan. I shouldβve been furious that heβd had the audacity to question my actions, especially after everything heβd done, and I was to a degree. But there was part of me that no longer cared if he approved of me or what I was doing. As the mother of his children, sure. It was important that we were on the same page on some things, but not my personal life. That was off the table. Just like it was for him. And whether he liked it or not, I had every intention of getting to know Walker better. I just hoped Walker felt the same way about me.
Some men are born drifters. Others are just waiting to find their way home.
Loss is tough.
Some learn to live with the grief and move on.
I couldnβt.
There were too many memories.
It hurt too damn much, so I packed up and left.
I spent years trying to outrun my ghosts
And then, a threat drew me back in.
It wasnβt my fight.
Hell, it wasnβt even my chapter.
I was only in Little Rock to deliver a warning.
I never intended to stay.
And I certainly never intended to meet her.
She was beautiful and soft in all the ways that can undo a man.
And she unraveled me without even trying.
I had no business getting tied up with her, but I couldnβt stay away.
She reminded me what it was like to have something worth living for.
Now, I had to make a choice.
Stay lost or find my way home.
Drifter is an emotional, slow-burn romance about grief, healing, the real meaning of family, and learning that loving again doesnβt have to mean letting go. HEA and no cheating.

HOSTED BY:
My βββββ Review:
This was such a great story. It was devastating, tragic, healing, and wonderful.
Drifter is a Satan’s Fury MC, Kansas member, but he had to leave his home after a devastating loss. Now he rides around the country looking for peace and a way home. When he hears a threat to his Little Rock brothers, he knows he has to warn them. He knows it’s not his fight, but he can’t in good conscience just leave them to hang out to dry. Knowing he needs to do it face to face, he decides to head to Little Rock and warn them of the danger that’s heading their way.
The past five years have left Drifter aka Walker a nomad for the Satan’s Fury MC. He’s not looking for anyone, nor is he looking to plant roots, but somehow, fate has other plans for him and he finds that he can’t walk away any more than he could stay in Kansas. One last trip home to Kansas and he’s ready to find a place to plant those roots. A beautiful librarian and her two sons are more than willing to help him with that.
Raelynn wasn’t looking for a relationship. She figured her life was set with her and her sons, but when a man stops in the diner to speak to her sons and back up her statement, she sees a man that peeks her interest. She’ll probably never see him again, but one can hope. It seems neither one want to chance not seeing each other again.
I loved this story even with the tragedy and the devastation that Drifter went through. This story shows that there can be life after tragedy, we just have to be willing to take the chance on ourselves and open up to something new. I love the Satan’s Fury MC characters and their stories. I look forward to more books from L. Wilder to come and can’t wait for other characters to find their HEA and the women that will bring them to their knees.
I survived my first year at Thornwick. That was the easy part.
They moved me to Stormwind Squadronβthe military’s dumping ground for riders who are too dangerous, too valuable, or too damaged for regular units. My new squadmates include a griffin rider who steals memories and a pegasus rider whose healing magic sometimes kills instead of cures.
We’re the ones they don’t trust. The ones they can’t afford to lose.
The Forsaken are hunting anyone with royal blood. And my ability to amplify other riders’ powers? That’s a signature trait of House Vaelthorne, the royal family everyone thought died twenty years ago.
Turns out, I’m not just some foster kid who got lucky. I’m the last heir to a throne that doesn’t exist anymore.
And Kael knew. The whole time.
Captain Kael Blackwaterβthe man I’m falling for despite every warning signβwas there the night my family was massacred. He’s been lying to me since we met, protecting secrets that could get us both killed.
Now we’re forced to work together on missions that grow deadlier by the day. Our dragons sync in ways that terrify our superiors. And when we finally kiss, the resonance between our bonds creates a firestorm visible for miles.
But Hollowmaw are breeding in underground tunnels, feeding on stolen dragon blood. The military is conducting illegal experiments on captured riders. And somewhere out there, a man claiming to be my father is building an army using blood magic that corrupts everything it touches.
Why does Kael look at me like he’s mourning someone I used to be?
Why are riders with Vaelthorne abilities disappearing, their deaths ruled training accidents?
Why are the Hollowmaw suddenly evolving, targeting me specifically in ways that suggest someone’s commanding them?
Kael has answers. About the massacre. About a father who might be alive or might be the architect of every horror I’m facing. About what my power really does and why the military would rather see me dead than risk losing control of me.
He’s keeping me alive by keeping me complicit.
And I’m falling for him anywayβfor the man who kisses me like an apology while hiding the truth about why things with teeth keep finding me, who might have orders to eliminate me the second my bloodline becomes more valuable dead than alive.
Surviving first year was supposed to be the hard part.
No one warned me the real test is deciding who to trust when everyone’s keeping deadly secrets.
Welcome to Stormwind Squadron, where: Misfits bond over shared damage (or kill each other) Captains keep devastating secrets about your murdered family Something is building an army using corrupted dragon blood The man who saved you might be the one ordered to end you Royal blood isn’t a crownβit’s a death sentence

A Small Town, Friends to Lovers, Romantic Suspense by Bestselling Author Nyssa Kathryn.
My βββββ Review:
This was a great story! A hometown girl comes home after the disaster of her move with her high school sweetheart, planning to marry him only to find out who he really is. However, the danger has followed her and she’s not sure who she can trust or turn to if she needs help.
Sone of the town is happy to see her, and there are others that are making her life back in Deep River harder. Things seem to go from bad to worse for Raven Price when she finds her bank account drained, and she finally stands up to the woman that wanted her job, then things really get bad.
This series has been great, just all of Nyssa Kathryn’s books are. She writes great stories with men that are dangerous, but protective, and women that are strong and independent. I love all of her books and Raven’s story was a great addition. There are so many facets to the stories in this series. We are taken back in time, introduced to a multitude of towns folk that are quirky, mysterious, and nosey, but it all culminates in great stories with awesome characters. I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it, and I can’t wait for more of this series to come.
‘Heads I win, tail’s you lose.’ A new killer is stalking the streets of York, and it’s a killer that Detective Sergeant Jason Smith can’t figure out. Smith and the team are no strangers to serial killers but the murderer who calls himself The Gambler is something entirely new. Who is this psychopath? Why does he leave his victims alive and come back to kill them later? And why does he subject them to hours of Kenny Rogers before that? Smith isn’t a gambling man, but he knows that the odds are stacked against him with this killer.

Stewart Giles β Author Bio
After reading English at 3 Universities and graduating from none of them, I set off travelling around the world with my wife, Ann, finally settling in South Africa, where we still live.
In 2014 Ann dropped a rather large speaker on my head and I came up with the idea for a detective series. DS Jason Smith was born. Smith, the first in the series was finished a few months later.
3 years and 8 DS Smith books later, Joffe Books wondered if I would be interested in working with them. As a self-published author, I agreed. However, we decided on a new series – the DC Harriet Taylor: Cornwall series.
The Beekeeper was published and soon hit the number one spot in Australia. The second in the series, The Perfect Murder did just as well. I continued to self-publish the Smith series and Unworthy hit the shelves in 2018 with amazing results. I therefore made the decision to self- publish The Backpacker which is book 3 in the Detective Harriet Taylor series which was published in July 2018.
After The Backpacker I had an idea for a totally new start to a series β a collaboration between the Smith and Harriet thrillers and The Enigma was born. It brought together the broody, enigmatic Jason Smith and the more level-headed Harriet Taylor.
The Miranda trilogy is something totally different. A psychological thriller trilogy. It is a real departure from anything else Iβve written before. The Detective Jason Smith series continues to grow. I also have another series featuring an Irish detective who relocated to Guernsey, the Detective Liam OβReilly series. There are also 3 stand alone novels.
Another great story in the Jason Smith series. The team is put to the tests again and this time there are other issues going on with the team.
With the serial killer looming and keeping a list of how they’re doing on their murders, the team is working hard before the list ends and another life is taken. DS Smith has finally found a thread and they are following it, only to have it snapped again. Will they be quick enough to save a life, or will the killer claim another victim, one that’s known by the team and a colleague?
I always enjoy these books and this one was no different. It has the right amount of suspense, team work, great characters, and the ability for the characters to learn more about themselves, their colleagues, and the work that is needed to clear a case. The side stories are always interesting as well. This one brought information that looks to carry on to the next book. Which I cannot wait to read.
I’m always happy to read the DS Jason Smith books.
