Review of HIS: Tony by Fiona Murphy @fionaainamurphy @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

For five years he has held out hope that he would find her again and bring her home, and for five years he has failed. Until Dominic finds someone that can find anyone, but it will take more than a couple of days and a straightforward search. Tony Sabatini wants his woman back he’s tired of wondering where she is, but his mind won’t rest until she returns, even with a surprise.

Christy had her mind made up when she first met Tony Sabatini, but she was not prepared for the man before her. When she left, she felt that it was for the best, but she began to have doubts right away. She still stayed away for five years, until Tony finally found her and left her a note that he would see her soon.

I loved the Sabatini’s. These men are loyal, sexy, dangerous and determined. Tony is an awesome character that has had to fight for so much of what he wanted in life only to find that he had to fight harder. He’s a loving father and person, but he does have his dark side, and I love him for it. I loved Tony’s story and Christy was a great match for Tony, but she had a lot of baggage. Christy self-sabotaged her own happiness because she couldn’t get out of her head and the ghosts of her past. I love the characters and the story of this book and I look forward to more of this family. I give this book a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers that enjoy mafia romance with sexy older men and women that love them.

Review of Captive Bride by Alta Hensley @AltaHensley @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Dark, twisted psychological thriller that will have the pages turning constantly while you are reading.

“There’s a fly in the honey”.

“The contamination must be rid”.

“There’s a fly in the honey and Hell will be paid”.

“He’s not the first. He won’t be the last”.

“Please, please, please allow this man be the one who gets away”.

Ember has been living in Hallelujah Junction since she was a little girl left alone to fend for herself. Richard took her home and gave her the safety and home that she didn’t have living in the town below Hallelujah Junction. Richard’s a man who likes living off the grid, he likes Hallelujah Junction because there aren’t many people around all the time. They get tourists, but no one lives in the Junction but him and Ember. When trespassers come and don’t heed the signs all around, they pay the price. Richard’s a religious man that lives off the land and does as God tells him.

Christopher is a photographer that works for Rolling Stone Magazine and freelances for National Geographic. He comes from a prominent family in NYC and is not a man that can go missing without someone looking for him. When he finds himself chained to a wall in a basement in an old mill town, he believes that he will be rescued soon. Little does he know that his life is about to be ruled by a mad man.

This was an intense, dark, twisted story that had me on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put the book down for anything. A twisted psychological thriller leaving me wanting more and wanting to wait for it. The characters are twisted and crazy. The lengths that some people go to keep their privacy and beliefs protected are crazy at times, to say the least. The cake scene had me wrinkling my nose and saying, “no, just no”! I enjoyed the book, of course I like dark, twisted, demented books, so I enjoyed this book. I give it a 4.5-star review and suggest it to readers that like stories with dark tendencies and way some can lead the lamb to follow them for years before the realize they have been following the wrong person.

Review of Whistle’s War (The Demon Squad MC Series) by Monique Moreau

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 3.5 out of 5

Whistle is an ex-Bratva Vory, was a child prodigy and now he’s a big, bad biker that hasn’t completely grown up, until he meets a Romanian mafie princess. Tasa Lupu is the youngest child of the Lupu mafie and she’s looking for her independence from an overbearing older brother, so she hopped on a bus out of NYC, and took a pit stop in Poughkeepsie to take in the sights and see a bit of the world outside of her gilded cage. Whistle and Tasa are an interesting couple. They are both from the mafia world but different family lines and both want to have a life free from that life.

This was a good book, it was a bit slow for me to get into it, but once it started moving it was good. It has the suspense that The Demon Squad MC books prior have, and it has the big, bad bikers, but it seemed to be missing something for me, not sure what it was. It has the danger that most MC books do, and the entertainment of The Demon Squad MC books do. I like the characters and the story. I just felt it was a bit slow to get moving and pull me in. I give this book a 3.5-star review.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Kansas: Ruthless Kings MC: Atlantic City #2 by K.L. Savage @klsavage_author @GiveMeBooksPR #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

The Ruthless Kings of Atlantic City have had their fair share of tragedy, betrayal and pain. It seems that Kansas’ road to love is no different, unfortunately.

Kansas knows how to treat a woman with kindness, honesty and care. He’s loyal, dangerous and yet, he has a soft heart when it comes to women and the elderly. He’s always there to take Homer to Bingo, even though he hates going, and he is always ready to stand by his brothers no matter what. The Atlantic City chapter of the Ruthless Kings have had to dig themselves out of the hole that they were put in by the previous president and various members that were more ruthless than they should have been. They are finally showing their community that they are a club that is ready to help their neighbors.

Violet has had a charmed life, but her whole world is crashing down around her and her sisters. Not only does she have no clue who her parents really were, but she doesn’t even know she has a godfather, nor, who he is. She’s about to get a rude awakening when she finally heals enough from the boat accident to talk to Boomer and the Ruthless Kings. Her life is still in jeopardy and she’ll take a couple of hits until things start to settle down for her and she’s able to see her future.

I love Kansas, he’s a bad boy, but one with such a big heart. I love not only his loyalty to his brothers in the MC, but his love and loyalty to his mother. He learned at a young age that we are only given one mother on this earth and we should cherish her for life. He’s a lethal member of the MC as the Sergeant at Arms and acting VP, but he has a soft side of him that really comes out with Violet around. He’s deadly, calm most of the time, and a man that can be counted on, but if you mess with his family or someone he loves, you had better watch out because there is no where you can go or hide that he won’t get his retribution. I love the Ruthless Kings, and I love reading the Atlantic City books because they are just finding themselves and what they want to do and where they want to go. The canvas is wide open for them and they have a lot to discover about their club and how they can make it their own. I can’t wait to keep reading and find out where they go, who joins them, and how they grow. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend any of the Ruthless Kings books along with the Asylum books, and the Moretti Syndicate books. Really any book by K. L. Savage. They will not disappoint.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Boss (Time Served MC) by Cee Bowerman @CeeBowerman

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

This is not your typical MC. They don’t all live in one town or in one club house. They are scattered around the world and come together when they are needed. These men have all served time for a crime, all of them. Boss is the president of Time Served MC and lives in Tenillo, TX where the club started. He was a police officer before he served time and the town is in need of a new sheriff. He’s kind of strong armed into running for sheriff, but he doesn’t believe he will ever win. However, he should never underestimate an old guy that has been told he can’t accomplish something.

After leaving Seattle for parts unknown, Jennifer ends up in Tenillo, TX. She went from a corporate business owner to a small business owner and this one is her own and on her terms. She isn’t prepared for the danger that she finds in Tenillo, but she is also not prepared for the sexy new Sheriff either.

I loved this book. It’s full of action, sexy bikers, funny and sassy women and danger. The antics that Paula, Jennifer’s, new best-friend bring to this book are laugh out loud funny and entertaining. I love the characters and the story. It was a different kind of MC book, with the club members not being in one place but I thought it brought more to the story. I love the road names they have and the reason behind them. The first meeting between Jennifer and the guys that live out of town was great, especially, Preacher. I love the women in this book and the old geezers. I am so hoping that Connie moves to Texas with Jennifer. This book certainly left me wanting so much more. I give this story a 5-star review and am looking forward to more in the Time Served MC as well as the Ares Infidels MC to come.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of The Heir (Kingmakers Book 1) by Sophie Lark

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Wow! Leo Gallo, son of Sebastian Gallo and Yelena Yenin, is overconfident, spoiled and always determined to win and be the best. When he was in high school, he was the top of the heap, but now that he’s in college and at Kingmakers specifically, he’ll find himself taken down a peg or two, for a short time.

Anna Wilk, the daughter of Mikolaj Wilk and Nessa Griffin, is a determined, dark young woman that has not worries about taking over her father’s business when he’s ready to hand it over. Don’t consider to be a weak because she’s a woman. She loves her mother, but she’s more like her father. Her parents have never kept her in the dark of who they are, how they came to be together or any darkness in their past and she’s fine with that.

I loved this story of coming of age, growing up, learning about love and what true kindness, honesty, and loyalty can bring you. Leo has a lot to learn about being the heir to his father’s business and world. The Quartum Bellum that the students will compete in during their year at Kingmakers will help to make these students into the people they are training to be at Kingmakers, for their worlds they were born into. I loved the story, the details about Kingmakers, the intense way that these students have had to learn to cooperate as a team and the lessons they can learn from their studies and the competition. Ms. Lark is very detailed in her descriptions of Kingmakers and the whole book made me feel as if I were seeing everything with my eyes, not just in my mind from reading it. The story is entertaining, enlightening and full of page turning intensity. The Epilogue is awesome and steamy. I love Sophie Lark’s books and have never been disappointed in any I’ve read. I give this story a 5-star review and am anxious to get my hands on The Rebel next.

Review of Ruthless Stranger (Mafia Wars, Book 1) by Maggie Cole @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?

Aspen Albright is a woman in need of an adventure and her three best friends make sure she gets it. The only problem is that Aspen is new to this whole thing and when her weekend in Vegas is over, she has a hard time going back to the way her life was before her trip. Little does she know that the stranger she met in Vegas is actually from Chicago as well.

Maksim Ivanov is in Vegas with his brothers and close friends to celebrate the final days of his brother’s single life. They’re there for a bachelor weekend and he is trying to get over the woman he has been seeing off and on for the past eleven years because she’s too commitment shy to finally take their relationship farther. He’s done being the only one to care in the relationship. When he hears some women near the pool at the hotel talking about one of them having a controlled meet up, he becomes intrigued, and his mind starts working. He can’t leave the pool area without looking back to see the woman with the voice that drew his interest.

I loved this story. It’s full of danger, adventure, action and some very sexy, Alpha men. I loved the women in this story as well. They are strong, sassy, sexy and crazy. Their night out causes so much trouble though. The heat between Maksim and Aspen is off the charts. This story is tragic, but also amusing with Aspen and her best friends’ antics. As with all of the books I’ve read by Maggie Cole, this one left me wanting so much more. I give this story a 5-star review and am anxious to read Broken Fighter. If you are a reader that enjoys stories of sexy, dangerous men (Mr. Stranger Danger or Mr. O. O. O.), mafia men, Alpha males that protect their women, and treat them as if they are most precious thing in the world, then you will love Ruthless Stranger.

Review of Broken Mind (Broken Rebel Brotherhood: Next Generation Book #3) by Andi Rhodes @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Liam Strong is a nerd, but a sexy one. His mother and father are founding members of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood and both served their country. Liam has his doubts about his position in the brotherhood because he didn’t serve, but his position has its own merits. He holds two college degrees and knows his way around a computer. When he meets the beautiful niece of Dusty, the owner of Dusty’s Bar, where the brotherhood hangs out all the time, his whole world changes.

Ruby Banks is an only child. Her dream has always been to be in the U. S. Army, just like her father and uncle were before her. Even though her parents try to convince her otherwise, she joins and makes it the training for weaponry. She’s worked hard in basic and special training only to get to Fort Bliss and have her dreams crushed and career taken from her, creating a fight of her life.

This story has all the feels. It’s tragic, twisted, sexy, and entertaining at times. The fight that Ruby has to endure is not one for the faint of heart, but with the BRB behind her and Liam beside her she finds the strength within herself to proceed with the fight and win the battle. All of the stories in BRB and BRB Next Generation are tragic, but the brotherhood is loyal, strong and a family and always have each other’s backs, even if they do fight like family at times. They will always protect those that can’t protect themselves as well as each other. I love the characters in these books, and I am looking forward to Broken Loyalty. Although, I hate to see the series end because the characters are so great. I give this story a 5-star review and suggest that if you haven’t read the Broken Rebel Brotherhood or Broken Rebel Brotherhood: Next Generation that you should. I love Andi Rhodes books and characters; they always leave a lasting impression.

Review of Dangerous King by Sienna Snow @jennw23 @sienna_snow

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

She was taken from the streets she grew up on at the age of fourteen to be raised by her uncle. A man that she didn’t know and that wanted to mold her into a pawn in his world. Her life went from scraping along with her father, after her mother got sick, to living in a gilded cage and being molded into someone that by all outward appearances did her uncle’s bidding and followed his rules. However, Danika Dayal was not the person that everyone saw on the outside. She had secrets and a vendetta.

He grew up on the same streets as Danika. He was considered a street rat by most that came across him and a leader of a group of boys that were constantly on the radar of the police, but Danika would steer the police in a different direction when questioned. Him and the boys he ran the streets with made a big mistake one day when they tried their luck with stealing from a wealthy man from the neighborhood, or did they make a mistake. He gave them an ultimatum and from there Nikhil King and his closest friends grew into very rich, powerful men that were both revered and feared by many.

I loved this story of two kids that find their way in life and a way to pull themselves up and find the power and prestige that most only dream of. Danika and Nik are both people that should be feared and respected for the people that they have grown to be. They may not have taken the honest route all the way and they may be people that seek revenge for the pain that is inflicted on the people they care about, but they are people that have hearts and are trying to right the wrongs being done. I love the characters and the story. I want more of the Kings and would love to read Jayna and Kiran’s story. There are definitely some very steamy parts in this book. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Street Kings.
