ARC Review of “Arabian Vengeance”, by James Lawrence @HGRomanceDeals

Awesome Read! I love a good thriller/suspense book, and this book delivered.

Pat Walsh is being set up for a bombing in Brussels, and he has to find out who is setting him and up and why, so that he can clear his name, and keep his business up and running. Pat is a contracted worker for the CIA and works for himself. He owns a company that moves arms and other needed items for the CIA to countries and affiliates around the world.

In his path to find who is setting him up and why, he finds that he is looking for more than a set up. He will have to defend himself in the process and his tactics to find out information are a little unorthodox. He is retired special forces and is a one man destruction team. He can get to people that no one else would be able to touch and he does it with stealth.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and hated for it to end. I also hated putting it down once I started reading it. I am now going to purchase the first book “Lost in Arabia” so that I can read it and get acquainted with Pat Walsh’s beginning. Great job on this book, Mr. Lawrence. I look forward to reading more. I will be watching for more Pat Walsh books in the future.

ARC Review of “Reddest Black”, by P.T. Michelle @pt_michelle @givemebooksblog

Awesome read! I am a big fan of P.T. Michelle’s “In the Shadow Series”, and could not wait to read “Reddest Black”. It’s a great story, with love, suspense, heartache, and some humor.

Sebastian and Talia’s life is going well, their settling in to their marriage and their lives as a team. They work well together and off each other. They’re a great power couple and are well respected. One fateful phone call to Talia and all of that can come crashing down on them. They’re on another case that involves a family member and they have to figure out what is going on and who could be behind it.

The person who has endangered their family has chosen the wrong family to mess with. Sebastian is a force all on his own, but when Talia’s family is brought into the danger, she shows her strength and character to save and defend the people she loves.

This story is well written and develops at a great pace. It was a hard book to put down for all of those life things, sleeping, eating, working, and being social. Sebastian and Talia had me laughing at them, getting angry with them, and crying with them. It felt as though I was going through the same things they were.

I loved this story just as much as the others in the series, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series, “Blood Rose” (8) (Cass and Calder, Novel), due out in June 2018.

ARC Review of “Dark Promises”, by Winter Renshaw @HGRomanceDeals

Great read! I loved this story!

A young woman from a high profile family, Rowan Aldridge, is looking to get over a broken heart and decides to have a one night stand with a man who is from a more prominent family than hers. Keir Montgomery, the youngest son of the President of the United States, is a man who doesn’t care what others think, but he wants to get into Politics, so he needs to change public perception of him. Rowan thinks that if she has a one night stand with Keir, she will get over the man who just broke her heart. Little does she know that the relationship that just ended for her was a blessing.

Keir needs a woman at his side that can charm the public for him. Rowan is a woman who has lived her life in the spotlight, and has never done anything publicly that would get back to her parents. Are these two the perfect match? Will they find a way to make a relationship work?  Can they find their way to love each other?

Winter did a great job with this story. The story starts right out with drama and heat, and keeps going throughout the entire book. I hated for it to end, and I hated to put it down. I loved Keir and Rowan, they were strong characters and they were very well developed. I wish that the Epilogue had been a little longer and had more about Keir and Rowan’s life, but the story is great! I will now have to go back and read Ronan’s story.

ARC Review of “Conceit”, by Alana Albertson @AlanaAlbertson @HGRomanceDeals

I liked this story. It was a little harsh in some areas and it made me want to scream at Mia, but it’s a great story about a sister who would do anything for her brother. I give this story a 4.5 star rating.

A SEAL who is in a hard spot. Grant’s best-friend is in trouble, but he is not allowed to talk to him and he can’t even help him, he’s under orders. Mia is the sister of Grant’s best friend and wants to help her brother out of a bad situation, but she can’t find anyone who can help her through normal routes, so she takes matters into her own hands and decides that she has to figure out what is going on so that she can help her brother, Joaquin.

The characters are both strong willed and broken, but they will do whatever it takes to survive, and they will do whatever they can to help the people they care about.
This was an enjoyable read, however, it does end on a cliff hanger, so if you don’t mind cliff hangers, then you should definitely read this book. I have no problem with cliff hangers and will purchase the remainder of the series to read all of them.

Review of “Black Platinum”, by P.T. Michelle @pt_michelle @givemebooksblog

I love the “In The Shadows Series”, and “Black Platinum” does not disappoint. Mr. Black and Red are still just as hot and great together. The fact that Mr. Black’s Alpha tendencies have eased off a little for Talia, but that his protective instincts are still in effect shows that he will always protect what is his.

Talia and Sebastian have a lot of baggage from their pasts and it just seems to keep showing up when they try to move on with their lives. Talia’s strength and love shows through in her actions in her daily life and dealings. These characters show that love can conquer all. Their love for each other and their families show through all the time. Even the love for those who are not blood family but work with them are so important in their lives that they will do anything for them as well.

I love the way P.T. Michelle writes her characters. They are well rounded and real.

Her “In The Shadows Series” is full of action, suspense, and hot Alpha males. I love a story that makes me lose myself in it so that I don’t know what time it is or much of what is going on around me, and this series does that.

Review of “The Biker’s Dirty Virgin (A Naughty Single Father Novel)”, by Blythe Reid

An MC President falls for a new employee.  Spencer Marx is the President of a Motorcycle club with two young boys to raise. He owns a motorcycle shop and parts store and is ex-military.

Alissa is new to town, and about ten years younger than Spencer, she is looking for a job and lives across the street from Spencer’s shop, so she decides to apply there. Spencer hires her on the spot after meeting her.

The sex scenes were alright, but at times they were inappropriate and the first time Spencer and Alissa have sex is a little awkward.

Spencer appears to be a bad ass biker in the first paragraph, but it does not continue that way throughout the book. This book is a quick read. For me, it needed a bit more tweaking, for it to really compete in the saturated genre.

Review of “Lost and Found (A Bad Boy Romance)”, by Sienna Ciles @HGRomanceDeals

Enjoyable read about a woman, Bethany, who has a great job and a good life, but no boyfriend. She is going home for her class reunion and wants to make a great impression on her former classmates. She wants everyone to think she has the perfectly rounded life. Great job and great love life. She chickens out on hiring someone before she leaves the city to go back to her hometown. Until she walks into the diner not far from home and sees a good looking guy sitting at the counter playing on his phone. This makes her rethink her plan.

Ransom, a young man on a mission. Bethany asks him to help her out and offers to pay him handsomely, but he refuses the money. He wants a favor from her in return for him to play her boyfriend for a long weekend. She finally agrees and things begin to heat up.
These two start out awkward at first, but things begin to get interesting between them and they get more comfortable with each other.

This was my second book to read by Sienna Ciles, and I don’t think it will be my last. I really liked how the suspense was drawn out through the book and you didn’t know the back story up front. It made the book that more interesting to me and made me want to get to the reason for Ransom’s favor request to Bethany.

Review of “An Endless Kind of Love”, by Krista Lakes (A Kinds of Love Series book) @KristaLakes

Dylan Abbott sold his company and moved to Colorado to work with his friends on their ranch, so he could feel like he was making a difference. This ranch was for foster kids to have some place to go and experience ranch life. He spent too many years of his life concentrating on his company and didn’t make time for his family. Now he has a purpose in life but doesn’t realize there is still something missing until one stormy night.

Bonnie Kincaid is on the run and her car breaks down on a deserted road in Colorado. It’s pouring down rain and her cell phone is out of range for any towers to connect. Will she be able to get her car fixed so that she can keep moving, or will she be stuck here and found by those she’s running from?

This was a sweet love story, with some suspense mixed in. The characters were well formed and likable. This is the third book in the series and I have not read the others, but I did enjoy reading Dylan and Bonnie’s story. I was glad that Dylan and Bonnie were able to find their Endless Love.

If you are a fan of sweet romance, then this is a good book to read.

Review of “Last Man She’d Love”, by Summerita Rhayne @rosieamber1 @SummeritaRhayne #RBRT

A Great Story! This is a great love story. It is light and funny, but very honest. The characters are very relatable and likeable. Guy is a business man who is not looking for a permanent relationship, but when he starts working with Lyna his attraction begins and does not let up. He begins to flirt with her and because she is reserved and engaged, she does not give in to his flirting. She feels a pull to him, but she is engaged to another man and ignores the pull. Lyna’s engagement is a business deal. She isn’t in love with Brijesh, nor is she really attracted to him. She agreed to marry him  because he promised to give her a production company of her own.

Guy is the oldest child and feels the family obligation very strongly. When he and Lyna are video taped kissing, and the video goes viral, things get complicated between the two. Lyna has issues already with her fiancé and is trying to get out of the engagement. Both families have some issues and Guy and Lyna are trying to please their families. I love Dadu and his eccentricity and keeping with tradition. He is a force to be rekoned with when it comes to the family and they all do their best to keep him happy, the only one who will stand up to him is Guy.

I give this story a 4.5 star review. If you like a book that is light and funny, but will keep you turning the pages, especially towards the end, this is a great book to read. I love the chemistry between Guy and Lyna, and the way that they each deal with their family issues is different, but gentle.

I look forward to reading more books by Summerita in the future.

ARC Review of “Vistaria Has Fallen”, by Tracy Cooper-Posey @TracyCP

Wow! Great story!

Vistaria is a Latin country that is in turmoil and on the brink of a rebellion take over. Calli goes to Vistaria after a phone from her Uncle Joshua, who lives there running a silver mine.  He called to ask Calli to come to Vistaria to help with is daughter, Millie, Calli’s younger cousin. Calli finds trouble shortly after she lands in Vistaria and has no idea how she will get out of it.

This story is full suspense, action, and twists that will keep you wondering what will happen next, as well as who can be trusted. The characters are well rounded and very likable. The men are strong but show vulnerability as well. They love their country and want the best for it. They are also very passionate about the women they love. Calli is a woman who has issues from a past relationship, but learns that she is stronger than she thought, and her strength can help her as much as hurt her.

I loved this book and give it 5 stars. I hated for the book to end. I want more of Nick and Calli, and there were some other questions that need answering at the end of the story. If you like a love story with some action and suspense,  and a strong hero and heroine, then Vistaria Has Fallen is a good book to read. The love story between the characters in this story will make you happy as well as want to cry at times.

I look forward to reading more of this series in the future. I want to know what happens now.

Tracy you did a great job with this book and the wait will be hard, but I know it will be worth it for the next book to come out.
