Intense, unpredictable, and protective.

Santiago Rios “Rios” is the Alpha of the Perdition MC, a wolf pack shifters MC. He has a lot on his shoulders since he was not groomed to become the Alpha of the pack, that was to be his brother, Trace. Rios took over the Alpha position because his brother wanted a different path in life and has done a good job of protecting his pack and being the Alpha. When he decided to bring a peace offering to Trace in the form of a young woman who is a seer and a shifter, his plans changed as soon as he first set eyes on Aylen Nez, and after he scented her. This caused more problems with his older brother and there doesn’t seem to be any relief from their tension in the near future.

Aylen Nez is the youngest of the Nez family. She realized she had a different path in life as a teen and was scared to death that her family would reject her when they found out her secret. Now that Rios has taken an interest in her, her secret is about to come to light, and she will have to deal with the fall out of it with her family. Little does she know that her secret and Rios’ interest in her has put her in the crosshairs of the Hunters, and in danger. She will need to learn to trust in herself as well as her new life if she is to survive.

I have been enjoying the Seer series as well as the Perdition MC series. I have found the characters to be entertaining, intense, unpredictable, and very protective of those they care about. These shifters are wolves, so they are very protective, and they work very well as a pack to keep their pack safe. The Hunters are getting too close to the pack though and the Perdition MC will need to proceed very carefully and be alert to everything and everyone that they interact with. The need to protect is strong and these sexy men will put their lives on the line to keep their mate or their family safe. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for Trace’s story to come out. I have been looking forward to his story, he’s a brooding, moody, man that needs to find a mate that will bring out the wolf he is keeping locked up.

Quinn Page works is a London cop who went against policy and showed a suspect that he did not appreciate the way the man treated his girlfriend. Scotland Yard has decided to make an example of Quinn for breaking policy and suspend him for a week. Quinn thinks it’s the worst week of his life until he almost runs over a tourist while on his way to get dinner and home.

I really enjoyed this quick read. It was fun, sweet, and entertaining. The characters were great and had chemistry. London is a bit quirky and has minimal filter when she talks, and Quinn finds it refreshing to have her say what’s on her mind. Most people who meet London don’t find that part of her endearing, but she is who she is and doesn’t make excuses. She’s a woman who wanted to explore England and made it happen. Quinn is a police officer and a man who spends most of his time working. When he offers to be London’s tour guide to show her the sights of England, he sees it through her eyes and his instantly taken with her wonder and beauty. I give this story a 4-star review and suggest it to readers who are looking for a fun, quick read.

He’s the youngest son of the McCarthy Clan. He was a disappointment for years, with his partying and drinking. He went to rehab and cleaned up his life. Unfortunately, his father didn’t get to meet the reformed Nolan. Now he’s the third in line to run The Clan and he is gaining the respect he deserves. When he’s tasked with getting information from a reporter that is trying to destroy The Clan his world will get turned upside down. He has no idea what’s in store for him and how his life will change, but he knows that when his brother, Keenan, the head of The Clan tells him to get answers, he better do it.

Sheena is a woman on a vendetta and her goal is to bring down the family that killed her father. She’s a reporter who is using her job to help her bring them down. She will to all lengths to get the information she wants. Her main goal besides the vendetta is to take care of her younger siblings since their mother won’t do it and puts them in more danger than they should be in. When Nolan McCarthy takes her to The Clan mansion she thinks that she is in control of what will happen and that she will be able to walk away with no problem, but when problems beyond her control come to light and the truth comes out, will she walk away or stay.

I really enjoyed Sheena and Nolan’s story. There is heat, danger, and the chance for the both of them to show their real selves. Sheena does not come from the same world and Nolan and she is ashamed of where she does come from, but Nolan doesn’t show any contempt for that towards Sheena, he is only interested in stopping her from ruining his family. When the truth about everything comes out, there is more danger, but these two will have to put their trust into each other so they can survive and live their lives. If you like stories of women who act tough and are willing to sacrifice things for those they love, Mafia, Doms, or stories of family, then you will enjoy Nolan. I loved it and I give it a 4.5-star review. I look forward to more with these characters. I love the way the men of The Clan are with each other; they are family by choice as well as blood.

She has walls built around her heart and is afraid to let many people in. Fiona’s survived two tragic losses in her life, she’s not prepared to lose anyone else that she cares about. The best way to avoid that is to keep her heart locked down, but when the sexy man at the bar catches her eye, she feels something. She’d like to spend some time with him and since he will only be in town for a few days, maybe she can spend a day with him. However, after that one day she can’t seem to get him out of her mind or her system. He makes her laugh and is fun to be with.

He is instantly drawn to the bar when he hears the AC/DC song. Even more so after he sees who is singing the song. Not only is she beautiful, but she has a beautiful voice as well. He wants to know about her and get to know her. He was never the guy that thought of marriage and a family, but after he gets to know Fiona, Jake can see a future with her. Unfortunately, that future could be in jeopardy for a couple of reasons.

I really enjoyed this story. It is humorous, tragic, and a great story of two people finding their way to each other and battling all of the issues that conspire to keep them apart. These two characters overcome a lot to find their HEA, and they both deserve their Happy Ever After. They have been through so much and their future is full of love, family, and determination to have the best life can give them. I give this story a 5-star review. It was full of suspense, tragedy, and great characters that are loyal, strong, and family. If you like military romance, characters that are survivors of any kind, determined to help those they love, or suspense filled stories, then you will like this story.

Crassy, sassy, and brassy, that’s Birdy. She’s loyal to a fault and has a heart of gold, but she doesn’t show it often. She loves her family and wants to provide for them, but the only way she can will lead to trouble and danger. It can also lead her to a man who will love her and respect her as well as help her find her true path in life. Unfortunately, they have some obstacles to overcome first. She did the crime and the time, now I only hope that she can follow the right path and stay on it. Time will tell. Birdy thinks she’s in falling for Angel, but she has reservations and those only prove true after she finds herself behind bars for up to seven years.

I really enjoyed this book. The toughness of Birdy and her loyalty to those that are in her inner circle shows that she is a good person, the only problem is that she is led down the wrong path. The struggles that she goes through in her life before prison, during prison, and now that she is out, show her true character. I look forward to seeing if her path leading forward will continue in the right direction. I love the characters and the story, and I look forward to the next book in the Duet.

I give this book a 5-star review. I love Ms. Garcia’s books and she has not disappointed on this book. Her ability to write characters that are like old friends of mine, is what always pulls me into her books. I picture Birdy as an old classmate of mine and it’s like reading about an old friend. I love the turmoil, danger, and choices that the characters go through. I love the darkness of their lives, situations, and decisions that they have to make to survive, and make no mistake, they are doing this purely to survive. If you like stories of strong women, cartel’s, or romantic situations with characters that shouldn’t be together, you will enjoy Birdy. Birdy is a great character and the men around her only enhance her personality.
