Gwen is an adrenaline junkie that travels the world doing all kinds of action trips that she Vlogs about. When she goes home to California for the summer to take some time to spend with family, she finds herself in a situation that has her scared and traumatized. Her only saving grace is the officer that was with her in during this trauma. He seems to be the only person that can calm her and help her through the trauma. Her family is great, but she has a connection with the officer and now she has to wonder if her attraction is only due to the trauma they endured together.
Maverick is a man that likes variety in his life and makes sure that all the women he sleeps with know the score, he is not going to settle down with them. He likes his life the way it is and is not in any hurry to change it. He’s a cop is married to the job. A domestic violence call a couple of years ago had him making a change in police departments and he’s found his happiness in Sunnyville working as a police officer and living life on his own terms. When he’s invited to the boss’s house for a barbecue and to meet his daughter that is home for the summer, he’s stunned when he sees the beautiful strawberry blonde and wants to talk to her, until he finds out that she’s the boss’s daughter. Now he knows she’s off limits, the only problem is that he can’t get her out of his head.
I enjoyed this story and found the attraction and pull between these two to be interesting. I like that Gwen is a strong independent woman that even though she’s attracted to Maverick, she won’t give him the time of day when she sees him with a girl that she hates. The only trouble is that neither one of these guys can get the other out of their thoughts and circumstances and fate will throw them together. Their road is a bumpy one, but with the strength and support of Gwen’s family, they’ll find a way to navigate and find a path to happiness. They have some hurdles to overcome, but their determination and support will carry them through. I give this story a 5-star review and would like to read more. I look forward to reading Taylor and Troy’s story in 2021.
She’s always been told that she owes her brother, Brandon and she’s been controlled by him for years. Now she’s questioning his involvement in a murder of a young woman. Branden’s a cop that has been suspended and is on the edge. He is abusive and blames Hannah for him losing his temper and hitting her. He blames Hannah for a lot of issues in his life. That’s how he controls her. Hannah is a woman looking to live her own life and freedom from being under her brother’s thumb, but she just keeps finding herself in more trouble.
Rafe does his Uncle’s bidding, but he is a talented artist and tattooist that just wants to live his own life as well. He’s part of his uncle’s Triad and has a rap sheet, which Branden uses against him with Hannah to get her to get away from him. Rafe is a good guy, but in a bad life and situation. He wants to be free of his chains as much as Hannah does.
This story is full of danger, actions, suspense, lies, betrayal and twists and turns. It’s a story of two people that shouldn’t be together, but they find their peace in life with each other and they find that they bring more to each other’s lives, even if they fight it all the way. They are drawn to each other from their first meeting and they find that their lives keep becoming intwined. They not have to fight their attraction to each other, but they also have to fight each other’s demons to find peace. I loved the story and give it a 5-star review. If you enjoy a story of suspense, action, organized crime, and strong characters, you will love Flame. Hannah describes her attraction to Rafe as being a moth to the flame and Rafe has to work hard to make Hannah believe that she is worth his attention and attraction, but he does it in a roundabout way. These characters are strong and survivors, they have to fight a lot to be happy, but it will be worth the fight.
Emerald Hatcher was the baby of the Hatcher family. Sweet, kind, compassionate, a dreamer who would give the shirt off her back to someone who needed it more than her.
But that was then.
What have fifteen years away from her family, tortured and abused, done to her?
The Hatcher sisters have been desperate to find the last sister and bring her home, but what they get is not what they bargained for.
Is anyone really ready for Emerald Hatcher to return home?
Jane Blythe is a USA Today bestselling author of romantic
suspense full of sexy heroes, strong heroines, and serial killers! When she’s
not weaving hard to unravel mysteries she loves to read, bake, go to the beach,
build snowmen, and watch Disney movies. She has two adorable Dalmatians, is
obsessed with Christmas, owns 200+ teddy bears, and loves to travel!
She’s the youngest of the Hatcher sisters and her fate was the same as her sister’s, but she was gone a lot longer than the others. She was so broken and scared that she didn’t think she could ever go back into the world or be with her sisters again. Her life revolved around Noah and the animals that she cared for on their property. He gave her everything she ever wanted, why would she put herself back in the world where there was danger lurking everywhere. She could have stayed sequestered forever if Sapphire hadn’t been the detective to show up at the sight of the dead woman. Because she was, all of Emerald and Noah’s secrets were about to be discovered and she would have to see her sisters again.
Emerald wasn’t ready to reconnect, but fate had other intentions and her choice was taken from her. Noah would have done anything to keep Emerald safe and to himself, but she was finally beginning to find her voice and determination. Now Noah was afraid that he would lose her forever, he just needed to have faith in her, and he would have realized that their future was together, not separate.
I have enjoyed the Broken Gems stories and Emerald’s was no disappointment. Her story was full of danger, dark, twisted, characters and a loving family. All of the Hatcher sisters survived their teen years after being betrayed by their parents and they found the other half of their hearts and souls, Emerald’s was a little different than her sister’s, but she still found her other half and was not ready to give him up. These women have always been stronger together and this book showed that they still were, even after one missing for ten years, and their fear that she would not be found alive. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to Salvaging Marigold in the near future. These women are strong, loyal, and full of love, and their men are strong, protective, and dangerous.
Wow! I knew Pirate’s book would be something, but I never expected what I read. It is dark, twisted, heartbreaking, and a great story of two broken souls finding redemption and healing in rehab.
Patrick “Pirate” has hit his lowest yet after eighteen years of obliterating his mind and body to forget the pain and heartbreak of his childhood. His brothers in the Ruthless Kings MC can’t stand by any longer and watch him slowly kill himself with booze. They make a decision to put him in rehab and he hates them for it. It is a painful and hard time for him while he is trying to dry out. The only light in the place is in the form of a woman that always smiles and won’t leave him alone. Her name is Sunnie and she exudes sunshine by her smile and bubbly attitude, little does Pirate know that she is also hiding a dark and broken past.
Sunnie has not had an easy life and her so called father is the reason she is in rehab. He’s to blame for all of her problems, but when she finds out the truth of her life and that everything she thought was just a lie, it could break her and drag her back down to the dark past she is trying to claw her way out of. Pirate is breaking her heart by listening to him during his detox and she just wants to help him and be near him to make him feel better. Their connection is deeper than just being addicts and they will fight to get better and keep each other in their lives.
I loved Pirate’s book. Although it is dark and twisted, it was such a good read and it was great to see the transformation of Pirate and his realization that he really wasn’t alone in the world after what he endured at thirteen. His MC family brought him back from the flames and the impending death he was headed for, but not only his family, he found a kindred spirit and a reason to live when he found Sunnie. Now that he has Sunnie in his life, he has another battle to fight and win if he wants to keep her and be with her forever. This story is hard to read at times, but so worth the read. It does have an HEA and is steamy, unpredictable, and twisted, but then it seems that most of the Ruthless Kings are twisted. I give this story a 5-star review. I cannot wait for more of this series and Tongue’s story is one I want my hands on. He is so unpredictable and twisted, I am sure that his story will be hard to read just like Pirate’s was, but I cannot wait to read it.

This story was dark, twisted, deep and steamy. The characters are powerful, dark and loyal to each other. They don’t worry too much about others around them outside of their circle, but those in their circle are tight and will do anything for each other. This story was deep and dark, but it was a story of two people that found their puzzle piece to help them heal and feel whole again. I give it a 5-star review and look forward to more in the B.A.D Inc Series. These characters may have struggled in their youths, but they have found their place in the world and won’t let anyone get in their way of living their lives to the fullest, while taking no prisoners.

When he wakes up and finds the beautiful countryside around him where he stopped for the night to sleep, he is ready to find coffee and move on, but fate has other ideas for him. Little does he know that the peace he has been searching for was in Ennis, Montana all along.
I loved this story. While it is a story of an ex-military man that is haunted by his demons of being at war and losing the three men that meant the world to him, it is also about family, and finding family in the most unexpected places, times, and ways. Skylar James has three brothers, two that she has mostly raised since she was ten years old and an older brother that has never wanted anything to do with her or her brothers, other than hurt them and destroy their world. Logan was an only child that was raised in the system and found family in the Army and Delta Force, as well as when he finds a young woman two teenage boys sitting along the side of the road looking so devastated. Little do any of them know that their worlds will be changed in more ways than one. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of this series. I hope it will be Ty and Jamie’s story next. The story was full of danger, actions, an awesome dog, and great characters.

Holy emotional roller coaster! This story was so hard to read but so well written. It is deep, emotional, and a story that needed to be shared.
Mandy is so lost after miscarrying and she has so many demons that she can’t ask for the help that she so desperately needs. It leads to her ending up in a dangerous place in her head and her father finding her in the nick of time to save her and get her the help she needs, but will she ever be able to find the Mandy that is lurking inside of her and find her way back to her family and the life she so desperately wants? He is left to fend for himself and find out how to be a dad and take care of Walker. He has no clue what he’s doing but he also knows that he will have to reach out for help, and he has a lot of people that will help him. He wants his family back together and he needs to be honest with Mandy on his feelings and not hide from the tough situations. They both need to work on their communication skills if they want their marriage to work and their family to move forward.
I loved this story even though I read it through bleary eyes most of the time. It was so deep, touching, and eye opening. It was a hard read, but so worth it. Mental illness is something that has been ignored or hidden for so long. The struggle that one’s mind can cause is so hard to understand for anyone that has never had the struggle or gone through it with someone in their life. It can be a daily battle for some and until they reach out for help or get the help they so desperately need it can be very destructive to everyone that loves that person including themselves. This story is a beautiful love story of two people that struggle with their emotions and their demons, but their love is stronger than they realize and will help them to come out on the other side and find their happiness and their strength. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Heaven Hills Generations Series. This book is full of tragedy, illness, strength, danger, and wonderful characters.

Ravage
As president of the Untamed Sons MC, I’m no stranger to pain, but three years
ago Sasha broke my heart and put another black mark against my soul. Even the
mention of her name is enough to bring my demons out to play. I still don’t
know what happened, but what I do know is she walked out on me, the club, and
the future we were working towards without a backwards glance. I should have
known she wouldn’t stay gone.
Sasha
Leaving Rav was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, but I didn’t have a
choice. Staying and facing my past wasn’t an option. I suffered through hell,
but I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, at least I was until my daughter got
sick. Now, the only person left who might be able to save her is her father.
Only, I have no idea who it is. Ravage, or his brother, Sin.
*Warning : Contains adult content, reading age 18 +. Graphic
violence and dark emotional scenes that may trigger some readers.
As I push the button for a white coffee with sugar, I hear a
voice behind me.
“Sasha.”
Even after all this time, even after all the hurt, he has the power to make the
apex between my legs throb with anticipation. Slowly, I turn from the machine
and come face to face with Rav. My heart twitches as I take him in. He looks
the same as he did when I saw him at the compound, but he doesn’t look like my
Tyler, not anymore. He’s bigger, brawnier and wears a permanent scowl etched
onto his handsome face. His worn and battered kutte fits him like it’s moulded
to his frame, the ‘President’ patch on the front a stark reminder of the man he
is. Regret surges through me, followed by remorse. I shouldn’t have let things
get this far.
“Ty…” I breathe his name, trying to recapture my equilibrium. No one else can
knock me off target like him. He still has the ability to bring me to my knees.
He can still stir my desire and make me want him, even when he’s snarling at
me.
Today, his long dark hair is loose around his shoulders, which accentuates that
beard he’s wearing. He looks wild. It’s a good look on him.
“Ravage,” he growls. “I earned that name and you’ll use it, like everyone else
does.”
And just like that ice fills my veins and my desire washes away, because his
words cut me to the bone. Once, I was the only person allowed to call him
Tyler. Once, I knew everything there was to know about him. Now, he’s treating
me no better than a club bunny or an outsider, and fuck, does that hurt.
Jessica Ames lives in a small market town in the
Midlands, England. She lives with her dog and when she’s not writing,
she’s playing with crochet hooks.
They are not known for being a kind MC, but they’re brotherhood is loyal to each other, or are they?
Tyler “Ravage” is the president of the Untamed Sons MC, he was once a man that showed a kindness to Sasha, that was until she disappeared without a word. Her disappearance destroyed Ravage and made him into the man he is today and into the man that is called Ravage. Ravage was raised in the Untamed Sons since his father was a member and took Tyler and his younger brother James out of the abusive home they were living in with their druggie mother. Ravage, James, Sasha, and Nox grew up together in the MC. They were a family.
Sasha has never loved anyone like she does Tyler, but one fateful night and a betrayal by someone she grew up with made her run. She felt that she had no other choice after the devastation that happened to her. She ran away and stayed away until she had to return to the one territory that could bring up her past and a destroy her. She has no choice though and her secrets are about to be discovered, all of them.
This story is devastating in the beginning, and the action and danger throughout keep the pages turning. The Untamed Sons will find that they have a member that is high ranking that needs to be taken out. Unfortunately, there is a lot of danger to come before he is found and dealt with, and then there is the aftermath of his death. It will haunt for a long time. This story kept me on edge throughout the whole story. There wasn’t a lot of space where the danger, action, or suspense let up. I give this story a 5-star review and I CANNOT wait to read Nox. If you are reader of MC’s and love the tough guys, 1%ers, and women that keep them grounded, you will love this story. This is a great start to what looks to be a great series.
The one woman he thought he could trust and have a life with has betrayed him in the worst way. Sending him to prison for 8 years and then keeping a huge secret for all of that time on top of it.
Grayson is no longer a man who trusts easily with the exception of his brothers by choice, the Underground Kings. Grayson is lonely and wants a friendship outside of his brothers, he doesn’t feel that he is ready for a relationship other than friendship. He signs up for a dating app but doesn’t tell his brothers. However, this comes with a lot of trouble, pain, and clarity. No one in the house has any idea that Grayson is hanging on by a thread until his whole world gets turned upside down in the matter of hours, he finds that he may have more in life than what he thought.
Finley is a young girl trying to stay alive and safe in her own home. She lost her father in a shooting and while her mother is still alive, Finley has basic lost her mother as well because of the drugs. She’s looking for an out and a safe place to land, so she signs up for a dating app even though she is not eighteen yet, she needs to get away from the dangers in her own home. This leads to more danger for Finley on her road to find happiness and safety.
I love the Underground Kings, they are loyal to each other and while they served time for crimes they didn’t commit, they are not angels now. They have amassed a fortune and are out for revenge on those that have done them wrong, and if they should happen upon someone that deserves their help and protection, they give it. These guys are dangerous, wealthy, and very sexy. This story was a heartbreaker, but it ended with a HEA. I loved it and cannot wait for the Heaven and Owen’s stories. Heaven is the clown of the group, and the one that keeps everyone else wanting to hit him or laugh. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more in the series.
A drowned child. Estranged sisters. A once-perfect home. Silence echoes louder than truth.

A family with a lot of secrets. One sister wants to destroy the other and blames everyone else for the problems in her life.
Façade is the perfect name for this book. The Stapleton family puts on a great façade for the outside world, but the women in this story are harboring a lot of secrets, some from each other and it will destroy this family.
Imogen is the oldest and she is a wild child. She is spoiled and believes that because her family has money that she should get what she wants no matter what. Unfortunately, she does not outgrow this attitude as she gets older, but it seems to progress and get worse. She will stop at nothing to get what she believes she is entitled to.
Rachel is the second child of the Stapleton family and has always worked for what she wants and has. She started her own business while raising her young daughter from home, and she has taken over the burden of the mortgage on her parents’ home. She has kept her secrets from her boyfriend and because she can’t be honest with him, she won’t marry him. They live together and raise their daughter together. Everyone in her family, including Jack, her live in boyfriend, believes that because she owns her own business that she is rolling in money, but they have no idea that she struggles to keep everything afloat, including her business. She just wants a normal life with her daughter and Jack, but when her sister returns home things get even worse.
I really enjoyed this book and the characters were great. Imogen is a scary woman. The way her mind works puts everyone she knows is danger. The suspense in this story as well as the story plot kept the pages turning in this book. I never knew what to expect from Imogen, and the secrets being revealed are unpredictable. Rachel is the only sane Stapleton in this story as far as I am concerned. Max’s illness makes him very unpredictable and is probably good for him. If he knew what was going on half the time, I think he could be a game changer. I give this story a 5-star review and if you like stories with family drama, then you’ll love this book.
I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
