Review of Rescued (An Everyday Heroes World Book) by Evan Grace @evan76grace @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Gwen is an adrenaline junkie that travels the world doing all kinds of action trips that she Vlogs about. When she goes home to California for the summer to take some time to spend with family, she finds herself in a situation that has her scared and traumatized. Her only saving grace is the officer that was with her in during this trauma. He seems to be the only person that can calm her and help her through the trauma. Her family is great, but she has a connection with the officer and now she has to wonder if her attraction is only due to the trauma they endured together.

Maverick is a man that likes variety in his life and makes sure that all the women he sleeps with know the score, he is not going to settle down with them. He likes his life the way it is and is not in any hurry to change it. He’s a cop is married to the job. A domestic violence call a couple of years ago had him making a change in police departments and he’s found his happiness in Sunnyville working as a police officer and living life on his own terms. When he’s invited to the boss’s house for a barbecue and to meet his daughter that is home for the summer, he’s stunned when he sees the beautiful strawberry blonde and wants to talk to her, until he finds out that she’s the boss’s daughter. Now he knows she’s off limits, the only problem is that he can’t get her out of his head.

I enjoyed this story and found the attraction and pull between these two to be interesting. I like that Gwen is a strong independent woman that even though she’s attracted to Maverick, she won’t give him the time of day when she sees him with a girl that she hates. The only trouble is that neither one of these guys can get the other out of their thoughts and circumstances and fate will throw them together. Their road is a bumpy one, but with the strength and support of Gwen’s family, they’ll find a way to navigate and find a path to happiness. They have some hurdles to overcome, but their determination and support will carry them through. I give this story a 5-star review and would like to read more. I look forward to reading Taylor and Troy’s story in 2021.
