Review of Flame (Dragon Triad Duet, Book 2) By Lana Skye @lanasky101 @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

She’s always been told that she owes her brother, Brandon and she’s been controlled by him for years. Now she’s questioning his involvement in a murder of a young woman. Branden’s a cop that has been suspended and is on the edge. He is abusive and blames Hannah for him losing his temper and hitting her. He blames Hannah for a lot of issues in his life. That’s how he controls her. Hannah is a woman looking to live her own life and freedom from being under her brother’s thumb, but she just keeps finding herself in more trouble.

Rafe does his Uncle’s bidding, but he is a talented artist and tattooist that just wants to live his own life as well. He’s part of his uncle’s Triad and has a rap sheet, which Branden uses against him with Hannah to get her to get away from him. Rafe is a good guy, but in a bad life and situation. He wants to be free of his chains as much as Hannah does.

This story is full of danger, actions, suspense, lies, betrayal and twists and turns. It’s a story of two people that shouldn’t be together, but they find their peace in life with each other and they find that they bring more to each other’s lives, even if they fight it all the way. They are drawn to each other from their first meeting and they find that their lives keep becoming intwined. They not have to fight their attraction to each other, but they also have to fight each other’s demons to find peace. I loved the story and give it a 5-star review. If you enjoy a story of suspense, action, organized crime, and strong characters, you will love Flame. Hannah describes her attraction to Rafe as being a moth to the flame and Rafe has to work hard to make Hannah believe that she is worth his attention and attraction, but he does it in a roundabout way. These characters are strong and survivors, they have to fight a lot to be happy, but it will be worth the fight.
