Giovanni is fighting to keep Amelia after she overheard him talking to two thugs. She feels so betrayed. She really thought they had something more than her being a staff person on his payroll, but perhaps it was all in her head. He made a promise to her father on his deathbed, and he is now fulfilling that promise.
Amelia is so confused. She has feelings for Giovanni, but she also feels betrayed. When his friends come for a visit, she hopes for her chance to gain allies and hopefully she can also find peace of mind. However, she’s just as afraid of his friends as she is of Giovanni.
I am loving this story. Giovanni and Amelia have pined for each other for years and now that they have the chance to be together other factors are at work and Giovanni’s whole plan could go out the window. These two are actually made for each other, but they will need to get a lot of things out in the open before they can have a HEA. I love the characters and the story, and I am looking forward to what happens when Giovanni lands in Maine. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend this book to anyone that enjoys mafia, secret society stories, and Alpha men that want to control everything in their lives.
He was reassigned to NJ from CA because he couldn’t control his temper. Now he’s back in his hometown and his home police department. He has a lot of bridges to mend after five years. His father is holding a grudge and his two best friends have a secret that they’ve been keeping for two years. Can Maddox find his place back in his hometown and the Chester Police Department? Maddox’s two best friends from his childhood are Patrick “Rick” and Adelyn, when he had to move to New Jersey for his reassignment, he kept in touch with Rick, but not too closely with Adelyn.
A story of a second chance at love with the one person that they loved when they were younger may not be possible, but when tragedy strikes Maddox and Adelyn may find their way to each other. Maddox has to mend some bridges in his life after the way he had to leave to go to New Jersey, but he’s older now and with that maturity comes knowledge and self-control.
I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were great. It has tragedy, love, family, action and lifelong friendships. Maddox is a man on a mission but he’s also a man that doesn’t want to betray a close friendship, so he is willing to sacrifice what he wants for that friendship. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Everyday Heroes World books.
Jeni is still holding out hope that Aiden will be free soon. She has the strength to stand by her man, but her hope is fading that Aiden will be exonerated. There are twists, turns, danger and heartbreak in this second book. I wanted to slap Aiden’s father for his actions and treatment of those he was supposed to love and care about. He’s a despicable man!
Like book 1, Love Me was a page turner and I found myself engrossed in the book from the first page until the end. I cried, got angry, and was devastated right along with the characters. I was rooting for Aiden to find his freedom along with Jeni and I was angry for Jeni when Niall left her side and walked away. I love the characters and the story is engrossing. I give this story a 5-star review and I am looking forward to reading All of Me, with hopes for Jeni and Aiden to find peace and happiness.
Executioner is the enforcer of the Ares’ Infidels MC. His life has been going as he wanted it to until a one-night stand changed his mind on how his life was going and where he was headed. The woman that he met in the bar that night left a last impression on Executioner and when she was gone the next morning, he had no way of finding her again.
Skye’s family is trying to stay above water and keep their flower shop open and their bills paid, but when there is someone that is threatening their livelihood, they aren’t sure how they’re going to keep their business open and their family safe. When she has the chance to go to Dallas to meet with a business associate, she finds herself having a night that she will never forget, too bad that night finds her again when the Ares Infidels try to help the town businesses avoid the extortionists in their small town.
I was so happy to read Executioner and Skye’s story. Skye’s past causes more trouble for these two than it should. It’s too bad that her mind is so set that all men are the same and it takes so long for her to give Executioner the chance to prove to her that he loves her and is not like her father. I love the Ares Infidels and these stories are fun to read. There is a lot of action, danger, and the women bring the softness as well as the humor these guys need in their lives. I give this story a 5-star review and am looking forward to more of the series to come as well as the Time Served series.
My life isn’t a fairytale. I might be locked up like a princess, but I’m more rebellious than I let on. While my brother might be the Don of the Catalini family, he does not know the secrets I’ve been keeping.
That’s how I meet him.
Killian O’Reilly.
This might be the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done.
Killian
This life isn’t for everyone. Being the boss of the Westie’s comes with a load of responsibilities. One’s I’ve never rebelled against.
Until her.
Greer Catalini.
Pursuing her might start a war, but anything thing worth having is worth the risk.
Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
Killian O’Reilly is the Head of the Westies. He is love with a woman that is off limits to him. However, that doesn’t mean that he can stop loving her, and when he thinks of a way to get her within his reach, he puts his plan to work.
Greer Catalini is the younger sister of Bastian “Bash” Catalini, the head of the Italian mob. When he summons Greer home from Italy, it’s for a job that he has been requested to supply her for. The only problem is that he had no idea she could do what she’s being requested for. Greer has many secrets, but she also holds resentment for her brother. Maybe her being back home will help to bridge the gap between the two. It could also put her entire family in danger, as well as the man that she loves.
I loved this forbidden love story. Greer is not the quiet, reserved little sister that Bash believes her to be. She has a ruthless side to her and uses it to right wrongs against victims that don’t seem to have a voice or a recourse for the trauma they’ve been put through. Killian and Greer have been hiding in the shadows for long enough and Killian is ready to bring her into the light and into his home as his partner, in all ways. She’s accustomed to the ways of the Italian mafia and does not want to leave one gilded cage for another. When danger comes knocking, these two will find a way to get what they want and make sure that their families are safe. I give this book a 5-star review and I look forward to more of The Syndicates Books.
Joker is a jaded man, he’s the enforcer for the Soulless Kings MC and he takes his job very seriously. When Widow brings home a stray from the bar, Joker’s sense are on high alert. The trouble is that it makes him a real jerk. He doesn’t trust women and when he sees Riley in the bar with Widow, he instantly doesn’t trust her. “My mother may not have raised me, but she taught me one hell of a life lesson at a very early age: women can’t be trusted.” Too bad he is pushed into watching her and trying to figure out if she’s lying or not when she tells the club why she’s hanging out there with Widow.
Riley is on the run. She’s a strong woman and can handle herself, but when her friends are threatened and she has no idea who is doing the threatening, she can’t stick around to see anyone else be hurt. She’s decided to leave the only place she’s known and try to get the person or people that are stalking her to leave her friends alone. Her path leads her to the Soulless Kings MC, and she has no knowledge of them or their lifestyle, so things are a bit interesting in the beginning. Then she has to convince a man that doesn’t trust her that she isn’t there to hurt his family.
I loved reading this book. There are a lot of crazy things going on and the MC isn’t sure where the threats are coming from. When they learn the truth and the danger reaches top levels, Riley’s life and longtime friendship are in jeopardy. There are other factors at play as well that could not only harm Riley, but Joker as well. Joker is the man that you hate, but then you fall in love with him when his vulnerable side comes out and he shows his soul. I wanted to punch in the beginning because of his crass, rude attitude, but then when his soft side came out, I wanted him to be mine. He may be grumpy, suspicious, and growly, but he’s also loyal, patient, and very sexy. I give this book a 5-star review and I am so looking forward to more of the Soulless Kings MC.
Brooke is a Londoner born and raised. She lives with her husband and their daughter. She’s a foul mouthed, dirty minded weirdo. An introvert and would rather spend the night in front of the fire reading, rather than going out and partying.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5
Danger, suspense, betrayal, loyalty, sexy broken Alpha, and a quiet, beautiful, smart, and dangerous woman, all of this is in this book and series. I love the Alpha males, and the sexy, smart, dangerous women that show these men that there is more to life than being broken and alone.
Romero is given a chance to be an underboss for his sister in-law in the Irish mob that is now joined with the Italian mob, due to the marriage of Makenna and Dante are united in marriage. Romero’s chance comes with a wife though. He is offered the hand of Makenna’s niece Holly Gallagher, a woman he has never met, nor seen. She lives in Ireland where the family rules in various places. He’s willing to marry her, but he vows not to fall in love with her. He’s a monster and is not capable of love.
Holly Gallagher has her own place in the family business, but no one talks about it, nor do they advertise it. She’s just a shy, quiet beauty in the family that is being offered to her aunt’s brother in-law. She’s also independent, smart, and a bit on the devious side, I love her!
I am loving The Made Series books. The men may be lethal, broody, and very ruthless, but the women can hold their own with these men. Don’t let them fool you. This story is tragic, steamy, and wonderful. The characters are always fun to read, and the stories keep me on the edge of my seat. I love them and I give this story a 5-star review. I can’t wait to read Shattered Union. These books keep getting better with each story, and Shattered Union looks to be headed in the same direction. If you are looking for a series with hot, Alpha, mafia men who are shown up by their women on occasion, and are broken, but able to heal with the right woman by their sides, you should pick up The Made Series, by Brooke Summer.
His first wife was a disappointment and now he has a son to raise on his own, but when he sees the MC princess, he decides that he will make her his. He will have to wait for her to turn eighteen, but he may be able to speed things up to get her into his life. He is patient for something’s, but he will push the situation.
She’s an MC princess and she has to marry a man she doesn’t even know to keep her life and for protection. Her father made a deal with the devil to protect her and she’s not happy about it. She will maintain her composure and she won’t give in to the overbearing, older man that wants her.
This was a short story of an age gap marriage, with a man that manipulates things to go his way and makes sure that he will get what he wants. She may not want to marry him and has set up her own rules to the marriage, but her heart will betray her. She can’t help but lose her heart to the little boy that has become her stepson and the man that she’s now married to, he has to work his magic to get her to lose her heart to him. When danger finds its way into their home, Thalia will prove her love and protect her family. Nero’s past has come back, and danger is lurking in the shadows, he’s in danger of losing everything and it will destroy him if that happens. I enjoyed the quick read, its action packed and has a sassy, strong willed woman that finds her path in life with her sexy, older husband. I give this story a 4-star review.
Finnegan Envy has been the head of the Envy family since he was chosen as the head of the family to replace his uncle. He brought the family back from almost ruin from his father running the family business into the ground. He made it better than it was when his father was head. He was told that his father was dead, but no one knew for sure. He just up and left one day and never returned.
The Envy, Greed, Pride and Lust families are working to set up an alliance to keep their lives and make sure that the Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth families can’t gain more power than them. They are all fighting to reign and when Finn is contacted by Bruno Gluttony, and then finds himself held captive, for his own good, he was told, he has to find a way to get away and find the truth. His life and his future are in danger. Bruno and Finn will have to make a decision and trust each other if they want to stay alive. Finn has finally found his future and now it’s in danger of being taken from him. He will have to fight to keep the people he loves safe and have what his best friend has. I give this story a 4-star review and I’m looking forward to more of the Deadly Sins Syndicate.
Dean believes that he has what he wants when he returns to Kingmakers, he has the perfect little slave, but his whole life will change this year at Kingmakers. He was a bully. His group of friends were bullies too. The year will show Dean that his life could be so different, and he may have a place in the world outside of the pain and filth he’s lived in with his father for so long. He doesn’t know what love is nor has felt love in so long.
She’s not really of a mindset of being a spy or of being at Kingmakers, but one incident shows that she could be ruthless and dangerous as well as the others at Kingmakers. Cat is more of an artist than she is a spy or mafia woman. However, when she finds herself in Dean’s clutches and having to do whatever he tells her to, she finds a strength deep within her that will help her follow through with his torment. She will also bring Dean to his knees, but he has no idea of what she can do to him.
I love Sophie Lark’s books, and the Kingmakers series has been just as enthralling as her other books have been. I love The Bully. It is a story of two people that are looking for their place in the world, when they thought they were destined for one thing, their lives are changed, and they are able to see that life can be happy and peaceful. Even though they will have to go through some tough times, their strength will come with their partnership and the love that they find between them. Dean has held a hatred for so long that when he finds the path to a colorful, peaceful life, he finds that he wants so much more from life than what he thought he was headed for. I give this story a 5-star review and am very excited to read The Spy next. I am anxious to find out more about what’s going on behind the scenes and in the shadows of Kingmakers.

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
