BLURB

She holds a special place in my heart.

The darkest part of it.
A part I never show anyone.
From the moment we met, I wanted to show her all my scars, the need I hide inside.Joanna.
The woman who wears long sleeve shirts on a hundred-degree day.
She’s been away at college and when she comes home, I plan on making her mine. One phone call.
A broken voice.
Time stands still.
And everything changes.

My plans goes up in smoke when I find her.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
Rivers run red. My heart stops.
My chance with her hangs in the hands of fate.
I’ve turned a blind eye to the help she needs.
What kind of doctor does that make me?
No more. I’ll be everything for her.
Doctor. Friend. Lover. Husband.

But I’ve learned, everything means nothing if she doesn’t start caring about herself.
Especially when there is more to her now than there ever was.
I’ll carve scars into her enemy and break my oath as a doctor to bring her JUSTICE.

AUTHOR BIO

K.L. Savage decided they were tired of looking for the kind of books they wanted to read. They had an itch that needed to be scratched, and as every girl knows, nothing scratches better than an alpha.

They write about gritty, alpha males, sometimes their dark sides, and the women they love.
If you have the same itch, their alpha males should fix that.

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Doc is not like the other guys of the MC; he is very close to his mother and dresses more like a doctor than an MC member. He is a self-proclaimed mama’s boy and is very proud of it. He and his mother have had their share of destruction and turmoil, but it only made them a stronger force. He has secrets just like the other guys in the MC, but his will shared with Joanna in this story.

Joanna was rescued from the Ruthless Kings MC in New Jersey. She’s a college student that is trying to overcome the pain and destruction of her past, but with an added trauma she has hit a wall and a very dark hole is swallowing her up. Her phone call to Doc could be the worst thing to happen to him, but a good thing for her. She’s destroyed from the pain and destruction of her past and feels so alone. She’s just as broken as Doc, but perhaps they can heal each other.

These books get better with each one. The members of the Ruthless Kings MC are a group of men and women that come from damaged backgrounds that have formed a family of their own where they are loved and accepted for the people they are. Doc’s story is brutally heartbreaking. I love the guys in the Ruthless Kings. They are dangerous, loyal, protective and an interesting group. They all have their stories and they all have their favorite weapon or way of getting retribution. This was a tearjerker and a heartbreaking read, but the way that Joanna and Doc find their future is beautiful and wonderful to read. I was laughing at some of the interactions, but I was also crying for these characters. They have been through a lot and all deserve their HEA. This story brought out the tears, laughs, anxiety and joy. I loved it and I give a 5-star review. I cannot wait to read Tongue’s story. He has always been so interesting throughout the stories and I cannot wait to read his story and find out what makes him the man he is. Great stories K. L. Savage!
