I am loving this series. The men are hot, Alpha, and very dark. They are devoted to the women they meet and fall in love with, and they would do anything to keep them safe and show them that they are cherished every day.

Victor Drayton, artist, businessman, part owner in Spiked Roses, and creator of Drayton Dolls, is a man who likes everything and everyone in his Dollhouse to be structured, punctual, and neat. He is a creative man who can get lost in his art when he is working on a show. His shows are much different than you would expect in an art show. His art shows are created around and with his Drayton Dolls. They are the art show.

Ivy Adams, a young woman who is working to send money home to her family to help with her fathers medical bills and running the house hold her sister and father live in. She makes one mistake and gets fired from the best job she has ever held and could ever hope to hold for the money to send home, a Spiked Roses waitress. When one door closes, another door opens. She is offered a position in Drayton’s Dolls, but the rumors she has heard about them scare her a bit. If she doesn’t take this opportunity though, she will be letting her family down. She agrees to Victors job proposition, and a new life begins for her. She didn’t anticipate falling in love with the man though.

The stories in the Top Shelf Series are very well written, they touch upon some dark and hard situations to read, but they cover these situations well. I look forward to reading about the other men in this series. The owners of Spiked Roses may be dangerous, rich, and a bit on the scary side, but they are also hot and I love reading their stories. If you like a story with some danger, Alpha men, and a HEA, then you should read this series. Although be warned by the cover note: “If you don’t like a splash of shock, a dash of taboo, and a heavy dose of sex, then don’t take a sip of this TOP SHELF cocktail.”

Such a dark and beautiful love story. Rafe and Alex are meant to be together. If they can just find a way to survive without the people out to hurt them they will have a great life together.

Rafe and Alex have gone through so much and are finally at a place where they can look at forever, but their past just won’t go away or leave them alone. Their past is the catalyst to their lives, but they have over come so much now they need to get rid of Zach so that they can have their HEA. Once again their lives are in danger and there is no sight of it changing any time soon. Maybe Alex’s quick thinking will get Rafe back on the island so that they can come up with a plan to rid themselves of Zach forever. Alex just has to survive long enough for help to come to save her.

I love this series and I am so ready to read each and every installment when it comes out. It is such a dark love story, but it also has such a great story line that it makes it a MUST read for me. I love that Rafe realizes that his love for Alex is all consuming, but that he would do anything to save her and have her in his life, even if his dark desires surface daily.

If you like a beautiful love story, but with dark content, then you should really read this series by Gemma James. Deviant is the 5th book in the Condemned Series. It’s a great series to read. I give Deviant at 5 star review, and I look forward to more of this series in the future.

Star, a woman who is working this brothel because she was kidnapped, drugged, and sold for sex. She’s been a sex slave for five years. Will she ever be rescued and go home to heal?

Star, Annie Hamilton, is just trying to survive. She has a secret and she cannot give up on living. She’s afraid to speak to this man, but he may be the man to save her. He’s an American and she believes that he may be in special forces, maybe even a SEAL. She takes a chance and tells him who she is after she pleasures him. He gets freaked out and leaves quickly. He didn’t ask for this, he doesn’t want to know her hardships. However, he’s a SEAL and his oath won’t let him drop this or forget this woman. He needs the help of his two closest friends Vic and Kyle to help him rescue Annie and bring her home.

This story touches on very sensitive issues, but was written and dealt with in a very respectful way. Pat is a very caring and decent man, he thinks he can take Annie home and forget about her, but that just isn’t happening. Annie’s ordeal almost broke her, but she managed to stay alive and got home. She didn’t let her hell define who she was or the remainder of her life. She knew that it only made her who she was and that was a strong, kind woman.

I loved this story and hated to get to the end of the book. It was such a touching story with heart wrenching issues. I love both Pat and Annie and hope to read more about them throughout the Trident Code Series. I have read a few of Ms. Albertson’s books and her writing always pulls me in very quickly. Such a well written story. I give it a 5 star review.

This series was not what I expected when I began to read it. The Wolf’s Bounty: Hinterland Series Book 1, drew me in and I wanted more. Book 2 was just as enthralling for me. It moved at a great pace and my interest just kept getting piqued throughout. This series seems to be a mixture of historical, romance, dystopian, and fantasy, to me. It’s different than a lot of books that I have read in the recent past.

Bishop and Raleigh are great together, they work well together as well as play off each other very well. The mystery surrounding Dax’s abilities is a great motivation to keep reading, but we still don’t know his history or his paternity. I look forward to reading more of this series to find out what will happen next.

I look forward to reading more of Raleigh’s story and hope that things end well for her and Bishop. I look forward to finding out Dax’s parentage and his abilities. I give this book a 5 star review. I hope to read more soon.

WOW! I could read this book all day long and not get enough of Rafael DeMarco! This is one hot book and Rafe is one hot, brooding, sexy man. His instincts take a back seat when he meets Diana though. Not by choice, but because he can’t see past the attraction that draws him to her and makes him want to protect her.

A man who retired from being a spy and enforcer wants to have a normal life. He works for his brother in-law in Blake Securities, putting his training from the FBI and ORUS to work in a private sector. However, one of his cases from that period has come back to haunt him, and he isn’t aware of how bad that can be yet.

Diana Vandergraff is a woman who has lived for revenge since the night her father was killed while she was in the house. She is close to getting that revenge, but once she meets Rafael and gets to know him she finds that revenge is not as sweet as she thought it would be. She finds that her life may not be what she thought it was either.

This is the first story I have read of the Blake Security men, but I will go back and read the Shameless Trilogy and the Force Duet, because damn, these guys are awesome! I look forward to reading more of Rafael and Diana’s story too.

Magdalena (Maggie) Holt, a DEA Agent undercover in a Cartel who is in danger and a has become a captive, is working very hard to get back home and take down the man who has taken her a prisoner and intends to sell her to the highest bidder. She’s helped some women escape the hell that has become her reality, but will she survive long enough to help the women she is locked away with and herself?

Maggie’s intent on getting home and taking down Chenglei in the process so that she can rid the world of one of the scariest men she has met. She’s locked away in a compound in Mexico and needs to find a way to get home and take Chenglei down in the process. She manages to escape along with 5 other women who were being held with her, they make it out of the compound and hide until help can get there to take them back to the US and home.

Adam O’Connor, Maggie’s partner in the DEA and former lover, is beside himself that Maggie has been gone for so long and that they cannot locate her to bring her home. HIs SAC Amanda Rhinehold wants nothing more than to bring Agent Holt home as well, but she is a woman who is in charge and has to follow protocol to do it. She is trying to get Agent O’Connor off the case because she feels he is too close to it. Adam is sure that once Maggie gets back home they can work things out and get back together, but he’s confused because he’s attracted to his SAC.

This is the 6th book in Jacquie Biggar’s Wounded Hearts Series and is the first one I have read in the series. I wish I had read the stories in order from the first one to this one, but it did not retract from the story as Ms. Biggar gives a lot of back story to understand what is going on. I really enjoyed this story and enjoy reading Ms. Biggar’s books. They are well written and the characters feel like someone you would meet on the streets and like as a person if you talked to them and got to know them.

If you like a strong men and very strong willed women and enjoy a story where the heroine hides her fear when doing her job, but always has to win, then you will love this book. I give this story a 5 star review, and I look forward to going back and reading the other stories in this series.

Such a great story. This is a different Billionaire Love story. In most of them, the Billionaire seems to be broken from something that happened in his childhood, but in this story, the thing that broke Nick was losing Lia.

Nick is just existing in his life until his friend makes him go out with him one night to a club. Nick really has no interest in being there, but he couldn’t stand the thought of staying home alone on this night either. He’s never been to Bound before, and he is not impressed with the place, but the bar tender is a different story all together. Maybe he is alive after all.

Sofia is working to pay for her college and to keep her little sister from having to work to get through college. Now she is almost done her undergrad degree and her sister is done with hers and ready to go out on her own to get her Masters degree and make a life for herself, in Germany. Sofia is sad that her sister is leaving her, but she is happy for her little sister. Gina wants to live a little before she moves to Germany to begin studying and working her butt off. The problem is the guy she wants to do this with. He’s not who she thinks he is and she ends up in more trouble than she is prepared for.

Nick’s past comes back to hurt him and Sofia gets drug into the danger because she is attracted to Nick and there is something there that they both want to pursue. However, they have to survive before they can see what is ahead for them, and they have to prove that they are the good guys.

If you like the Billionaire love stories, but with a bit of a twist, then this is a great book to pick up and read. I highly recommend it.
