The eighth book in the series and quite possibly the best in the series so far. I know I feel this way about all of these books, but Merciless Mayhem has surpassed my expectations.
Sue Coletta has a wealth of artistic ability along with her research and desire to write a story that grabs you from the first page and keeps you riveted until the last page. Merciless Mayhem is full of raw truth, and sad situations, but she also adds the right amount of humor to keep your eyes from being misty the entire book. I laughed, I cried, and I got angry reading Merciless Mayhem, but I never wanted to put it down.
Poe is up to his usual stunts, and Shawnee is still growing into her own, Mr. Mayhem is still his usual sophisticated, calm self, but they are all able to work as a team to bring down the Killzme Corporation and save those that need their help the most. Shawnee shows a new side of herself in this book and makes my love for her even brighter. She’s a wonderful character that continues to grow with the guidance and mentoring of Mayhem and Jacy Lee.
I’m not sure where Sue can go from here in making her stories better, but I am sure she will with the next book. Once again this book enlightened me while reading it. I am amazed at the story that is told along with the knowledge that is shared in Sue’s books. I look forward to more in The Mayhem Series.

He’s ruthless and a man that wants more power and wealth. He will go any lengths to gain what he wants, and what he wants is the woman that holds something he needs to gain the power he wants. Knight Grayson is the oldest of the Grayson sons, but his father denies him as his son along with Knight’s younger brother. That doesn’t mean that they don’t hold power, wealth, and a place in the family business, it only means that they gained that from their grandfather, not their father.
Aurora Wright’s future hopes have been doused by her past indiscretions. She’s received more bad news and is sitting in No. 11 by herself trying to eat, but her appetite is gone. So when the waitress comes over to extend an invite from a very handsome man at the bar, she doesn’t know what to do or what to think. She has no idea who the man is, but the waitress does and after she tells Aurora who he is, Aurora decides to have a little fun. Lord knows that in a few days her life will get worse.
It seems that Aurora has a hard time choosing men and her life may just become a living nightmare. However, when secrets come to life and feelings start to get involved, life will never be the same again for either Aurora or Knight.
I loved the characters and the story. There’s a lot of suspense and steam in this book. I look forward to more in the Ruthless Billionaires Series to come.

I loved this story of a fake dating, insta love story. Lobo and Hope are a great couple and I love Lobo’s grandmother.
Lobo was having a bad day but when he went out with his neighbor, his night turned out to be great, but the next morning he was left wondering who the beautiful woman was and how he could find her. He never expected to see her again, especially at his front door.
Hope is a high end escort, she only goes on dates with her clients, but when she’s feeling down and meets a handsome man in a ritzy bar, she can’t let him get away. So she spends the night with him, and never expects to see him again. Imagine her surprise when she shows up for a job to go away for the holidays and the client is the man she can’t forget.
This is a great story with great characters and I loved every page of it.

Whew what a ride! This book about broke me, but Nikki Landis put me back together and redeemed herself by the end.
This is a great book and I love the new characters brought in for the Las Vegas Chapter of the RBMC. The Tonopah guys have had my heart and soul since the very first book, but I think there will be a battle for the top guys with the Las Vegas chapter. Maddog is awesome and I can’t wait to meet the rest of his crew as well as read more about the Las Vegas chapter and the work they have ahead of them.
Lark has been living in hell for almost a year now, and it looks like maybe her luck is changing, but will the danger still find her even if she leaves with Maddog? Can she find the peace she’s been searching for and will she finally find a way out from the underbelly of Las Vegas? She’s tough and determined, but her life made her that way.
I loved it and can’t wait for more to come!
