Author Bio –
Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.

She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.

A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨3.5 out of 5

He left his family and the woman that held his heart in her hands because his father favored his brother. It made him feel as if he was second best to everyone he loved. So, he left to find his own path in life, and he made a name for himself. He was rich, had his own company that was well known, and he lived his life on his own terms. Everything changed when his father and brother died in a tragic accident. Now he had to return home to be there for his mother when she buried her husband and one son. His return not only threw his life in a turmoil, but also Alexa’s, the only woman he has ever loved in his life. There is so much between these two that needs to be cleared up and it could either destroy them or bring them back together.

I enjoyed this story of Cain O’Connor’s path in life and his detour in his life to regain what he lost seven years ago. His strength, power, and confidence will be tested when he has to work with Alexa side by side day in and day out, to keep the family business going. Cain will discover that he can still love and that his heart still belongs to Alexa. This story is about second chances and finding it within oneself to understand the reasons a parent does what they do, even when the child doesn’t understand at the time, age and life bring them to the understanding. Unfortunately, it is too late for Cain and his father to repair the broken bridge, but Cain is willing to repair what he can with his mother. He needs to look within himself though to find the strength to follow the path with Alexa again so they can have a future.

I give this story a 3.5-star review and suggest it to readers that enjoy second chance at romance, rich powerful men, and families that were broken at one point. It has tragedy, secrets, and people that conspire to bring two people together that should have never been separated.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Eden (Project Arma) by Nyssa Kathryn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Eden “Hunter” Cole hasn’t been living for the past fourteen months, he’s just been surviving and hunting for the people from Project Arma that used them as guinea pigs. He’s not his usual self and those around him are getting worried about him. He also wishes he could find Shayla Kemp. He needs answers and she is the only one that give them to him.

Shayla Kemp is now in a situation where she is ready to find Eden again and reconnect with him. She needed the past fourteen months to recover and get herself to a place where she could reconnect with Eden and not have to worry about him caring for her. She’s not prepared when she does see him again or his reaction to seeing her again. She has no idea what’s been going through his mind, nor does she realize the danger she is still in.

I love the guys from Project Arma, they are Alpha, powerful, dangerous, and loyal. They won’t stop until they have taken down Project Arma and the people that are associated with it. Little do they know though how powerful this project is and the people that are running it. Eden and Shayla need to work out their past and clear the air because the only person that can save Shayla is Eden and it will take the whole team to help him. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait until the next story. I am so anxious for Lexie and Ace’s story. These guys have all gone through a lot and when they find the woman that completes them, they hold on tight and fight the fight to keep them.

Review of One Night In Monaco by Blair Babylon @BlairBabylon and @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Maxence is missing, again. For some reason this time is different. His best friends, Arthur and Casimir are called right away, usually it takes more than four hours before they are called to come look for him. He was in Monaco and now he is missing.

Arthur, Casimir and Maxence are friends from school. They are rich, powerful, and very close. They will do whatever is necessary for each other. Maxence has angered more than one powerful person while in Monaco and now his life is in danger, but he will do whatever he can to help a school friend that is in desperate need of protection and help to escape.

This story was full of action, secrets, and money. The story leads the reader through the steps being taken by Maxence’s best friends to find him and make sure he is alive and safe. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to Maxence’s full story. It’s a mystery to Roxanne, Casimir’s wife, what Arthur does for a living. The others know, but Roxanne has only guessed at it. I wasn’t clear on Maxence’s career, but it seems he is sent to different countries on a regular basis. He needs to stay out of Monaco for a while to stay alive, so he is in Paris. One night in the Buddha Bar finds him rescuing a woman that has had too much to drink and unbeknownst to Maxence, most of that alcohol was supplied by his two best friends’ wives.

Finally, I sigh in defeat and look up, meeting his watchful gaze directly. “I don’t have
any money.”
He raises an eyebrow. “Did I ask for money?”
“I don’t have anything else you might want either,” I snap.
“I doubt that…” He pointedly eyes the neckline of my dress, and I shift uncomfortably.
It’s cut differently than my tried and true sweaters, displaying more of my collarbone and a glimpse of the flesh beneath. I can’t stop myself from crossing my arms over my chest, and he flashes that dangerous grin in triumph.
“In fact, I can think of a few things you could offer—”
“Get out.”
I slam the ledger shut and turn away as if just telling him to leave could make it true.
But he doesn’t. Neither does he creep toward my corner to drill in his taunt—and
that’s the worst part. I have to endure him, but without the tools I’m used to utilizing.
Silence and the safety of my own head don’t work where he is concerned.
His breathing is too noisy, grating and raspy. His scent is overpowering, sneaking
into my lungs with every breath. Around him, my thoughts don’t form the
protective wall I’m used to hiding behind. They fracture. Splinter.
And he breaks through easily.
“I want to see you hop, bunny,” he murmurs, just when I think I might scream to counteract his presence. “Without the dowdy little sweaters or the boring little mask. I
want to prove you wrong. I didn’t run last time. I just gave you a taste. It’s
up to you if you want more but with no excuses. No chance to cry assault.”
I bristle at his tone, wrapping my arms around my waist even tighter. If I hope to find
comfort in the action…I don’t. His gaze slips beneath the barrier, creeping over me without permission. I can practically feel his gaze rasping along my skin.
“What are you talking about?”
“Tonight,” he repeats. “Dragon’s Head. You can even bring your little friend if you want.”
Dragon’s Head. The name conjures the image of neon lights and raucous dancing.
“The club?” I frown.
“Why would I go there with you?”
He laughs, and his steps resonate through the floor. Alarmed, I turn to watch him move, but he takes his time, giving me every chance to cower and back away.
I don’t recognize the way my breathing hitches as he comes closer. How my nerves tense as he raises his hand, deliberately inching toward my cheek.
“D-Don’t touch me—”
“I have touched you,” he reminds me. “Don’t kid yourself into believing you don’t want
more.”
“More of what?” I force myself to meet his gaze only to regret it.
I wish his eyes gleamed in that mocking, cruel way, but their stare is flat and empty.
“More of what could happen the next time I have my fingers inside you.”

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Not all monsters lurk in closets or under beds. “We all have demons inside, waiting to emerge when least expected”. Some monsters are scarier than others.

She’s running from her past, but it followed her to college. Now she wants to be on her own but can’t seem to escape her brother no matter what she does. She moved into her own apartment only to have him set up surveillance on her and check in on her daily. Her escape from under Branden’s watchful eye has not gone as planned. Will Hannah ever have the chance to be on her own and live her life on her own terms? With him out of town for an impromptu vacation, she spreads her wings a bit to live her life, but things aren’t exactly as she expected them to be.

He is living a life he really doesn’t want but has no choice in the matter. His uncle took him and gave him a future, and he owes him for that. The only problem is that he doesn’t really want to do what his uncle expects of him. If he doesn’t though, it could mean that he has no future or life at all. When he meets the little rabbit in his bar, he is intrigued by her and her response to him. Rafe can’t seem to get away from her or get her out of his mind. Rafe may lead a life of crime, but his real passion is in his studio. He’s not what he seems.

I enjoyed this book and the characters. Rafe and Hannah are both trying to live the life they want but can’t seem to catch a break and find that life. They are both under the watchful eye of family members and are drawn to each other inexplicably. Hannah has a huge secret and Rafe has only stumbled upon part of it by helping her get away from Branden’s abuse. This story is full of action, secrets suspense and dangerous people. The characters have so much more to them and the discovery of the real person is so interesting to me. I had a hard time putting the book down. I give this story a 4.5-star review and cannot wait for more of the story and getting the answers I need. If you like dangerous men that have a soft side, curious women, organized crime, and suspenseful stories, you will love this book.

𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 and REVIEW: Marauder (Gangsters of New York #2) by Bella Di Corte @Bella_DiCorte @EJBookPromos

Title: Marauder

Series: Gangsters of New York #2
Author: Bella Di Corte
Genre: Mafia Romance/Contemporary/Suspense
Release Date: August 7, 2020
Cover Designs: Najla Qamber Designs

He stole my heart out of revenge.
There was one thing I always thought was mine to give: my heart.
I never imagined a marauder would steal it out of vengeance—vengeance that had nothing to do with me. His greatest enemy happened to be the man in love with me, and somehow I became nothing but a pawn. I was no damsel in distress, though. More like an archer, ready to battle.
And my target? The marauder himself.
Cashel “Cash” Kelly.
Kelly might have been as gorgeous as he was ruthless, but he had no idea what I’d do to steal it back. Or better yet, get even.
She was determined to keep what was mine.
They say hearts can’t be stolen unless they’re willing to be. Tell that to the man everyone on the streets called “the marauder.”
Me.
Because by the time I was through, Keely Ryan’s heart would be mine. And my enemy’s? As good as broken. Trouble was, the archer was precise with her aim, and her arrow was pointed at my heart.

Bella Di Corte has been writing romance for seven years, even longer if you count the stories in her head that were never written down, but she didn’t realize how much she enjoyed writing alphas until recently. Tough guys who walk the line between irredeemable and savable, and the strong women who force them to feel, inspire her to keep putting words to the page.Apart from writing, Bella loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, and family. She also loves to read, listen to music, cook meals that were passed down to her, and take photographs. She mostly takes pictures of her family (when they let her) and her three dogs.
Bella grew up in New Orleans, a place she considers a creative playground.
She loves to connect with readers, so don’t hesitate to email her at belladicorte@gmail.com if you’d like to reach out.

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Marauder: (n) A person who marauds; a raider

He wants to steal her heart and keep if for himself, but only because he will be hurting his enemy. Little does he know that stealing a heart can backfire on him. Cash Kelly is finally able to breathe fresh air again. He has a lot to get done and to regain after the death of his father and the abandonment of his twin brother. They are now on different paths and Cash is determined to regain his father’s territory, Hell’s Kitchen.

She lost her twin years ago and feels as if she lost a huge part of herself at that time. She hasn’t felt whole since she was a little girl and very few understand her. She found a new best friend, but she only fills a small part of that hole and she’s not always around. Keely Ryan is a struggling actress that is barely making ends meet. She’s strong willed, independent, and caring. She’s protective of those she loves. Her life is about to be turned upside down and there is nothing she will be able to do about it.

Whew, Cash Kelly is a force to be reckoned with and he is determined to get what he wants, even if he has to steal it. He always gets what he wants, no matter what obstacles are in his way. Cash is a sexy man and this book was an awesome read! This story is full of danger, cocky gangsters, and some twists that you would never expect coming. I loved every bit of the book and hated to come to the end. If you like Mafia stories, stories with awesome characters, sassy, strong women, sexy as sin men, and danger filled pages, you will love this book and series. I stayed up way past my bedtime to read and finish this book. I give this book a 5-star review. I love the Gangsters of New York, and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Bull has found his new Queen. He just needs to find a way to stop blaming himself for the past.

Bull is the president of the Kings of Mayhem. His piercing blue eyes are his trademark. He has a condition that entails him wearing dark glasses to protect his eyes, but when he takes them off, people know instantly who he is. His past still haunts him, and it has prevented him from moving on and finding a new Queen, until he meets the sister of a little boy who is being bullied in the school parking lot. Bull hates bullies and even though he doesn’t know the kids in the parking lot, he will not let the three boys get away with bullying the kid.

Taylor and her younger brother have been on the run and they ended up in Destiny. She has a reason for being in Destiny, but her plans have taken a turn and she and her brother are in danger once again. She hasn’t had much luck in her life and when she thought she had some, it turned on her.
I love the Kings of Mayhem characters, they are loyal, fiercely protective, and very sexy. They protect their town as well as their family and loved ones. They don’t always do things the legal way, but they do what they must to keep their town and their family safe and protected. This story is full of danger, action, steamy encounters, and a few twists. These books are hard for me to put down until the very end, and Bull’s story was no different. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend it to readers of MC, sexy men, and lovers of action and twists in stories. Ms. Dee does not disappoint with her Kings of Mayhem series. The characters are tough, loyal, and sexy as heck!

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ 5 out of 5

He lost his sister and in getting revenge he found a new family and then he lost his “father”. Now he’s out for revenge again, what will he find this time around?

Mikolaj Wilk was struggling to keep food on the table for his sister, father and himself after a tragic accident his father had at work. Now he works at a deli and puts money aside so is twin sister can go to college. After another tragedy strikes the family Mikolaj is left to pick up the pieces again, but he wants revenge first. Little does he know that it can lead him to so much more than he expected.

Nessa Griffin is the youngest of the Griffin Irish Mafia family. She’s lived a sheltered life and has been treated as a princess her whole life. While she knows who and what her family is, she has never been involved in any of it like her older brother and sister are. She wants to dance for Lake City Ballet and finish college, she has no desire to get into the family business, but she’s also not blind to the danger that surrounds her daily. She just lives her life on her own terms and loves her family unconditionally.

I love Sophie Lark’s books, and her new series Brutal Birthright is no different. This story is filled with sexy men, danger, action, and wonderful characters. Nessa will be forced to find a strength that she had no idea she had and when her family sees the change in her they are surprised at the woman she is turning into. She will find so much more than strength though. She will find a different kind of love and a determination that has been there all the time, just buried. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy stories of mafia families, danger around every corner, betrayal, and sexy men that find their hearts when they least expect it. Sophie Lark’s mafia men are ruthless, dark, and determined to stay on top, get more money and power and they aren’t afraid to step into the line of fire to protect the ones they love.

Review of Lean In (Royal Bastards MC: Pittsburgh, PA) by Deja Voss

Lean In

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Lean is the VP of the Royal Bastards MC: Pittsburgh club, he’s the son of the president, and the owner/operator of the club owned strip clubs in PA. He has had a dark past and is trying to find his way in the club and in life.

Mani is a young woman that has been broken down, betrayed, lied to, and abused for years. Her only reason for living is her little sister and making sure that she is safe and taken care of. She doesn’t care what happens to her as long as it protects her sister.

This story is dark and ruthless. The MC wants to rid the city of the mafia family that partakes in human trafficking and when they show up at the mansion for a meeting, that they really don’t want to have, they find a young woman in a closet. This is the catalyst to a deadly, destructive path that will lead to the fall of a sex ring, and the truth getting out. I enjoyed the story, but the epilogue left me with questions. Now I want more because the end of the book left me hanging. I give this story a 4-star review. I’ve read a few of the Royal Bastards MC books, by other authors and have enjoyed them. I look forward to more of the RBMC books in the future and more of the Pittsburgh, PA club because now I have to know what’s going on.

Review of Daddy Wolf’s Little Seer: Silver Wolf Shifter Book 1 by B.E. Kelly @KLRamsey5

Gray

Gray won’t fail Kaiah. He won’t let history repeat itself. He can’t lose another family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Declan “Gray” Bane is a mature wolf shifter, he was getting his driver’s license when Kaiah was born, and he’s already enjoyed having a family, until he lost them. He is fiercely attracted to Kaiah, but he won’t give in to that attraction because he doesn’t believe he deserves it. He’s afraid of losing another loved one. He has told his pack that she is off limits, but he’s still afraid to claim her completely.

Kaiah Nez is twenty -eight and has been married and divorced once already and her experience with men has shaded her perception towards men. Her ex was controlling and derogatory towards her and her confidence and self-esteem took a huge hit from him. Her experience around Gray though has only shown her that he is kind and a good man. She can’t help her attraction to him, and she knows that if she keeps pushing with her little outfits, she can pull him and change his mind.

Gray and Kaiah have been dancing around each other for a while now. They’re both beginning to give in to the other. Kaiah has agreed to stay with Gray while her sister Aylen and her husband, Rios are trying to stay ahead of the hunters. Aylen doesn’t want Kaiah alone and unprotected. Kaiah has no worries in that area, even when she thinks she’s on her own wandering around town she has a shadow. While Gray thinks he’s being covert, Kaiah’s abilities lets her know that she is being watched, but she knows that she is in no danger from her shadow, at least not in danger of death. Gray hates it when Kaiah gets into his mind and knows what he is thinking, but Kaiah can’t help herself.

I’ve loved Gray from the start in the Perdition stories and reading his story just made me love him even more. He’s gruff but he has a heart of gold. He’s kind, gentle, caring, and a fierce protector. He’s also still hurting from the loss of his first family and he’s still running from the same group that he was back then. Gray and Kaiah are perfect for each other. Kaiah’s sassiness shines when she is around Gray, and she seems to let her guard down enough to be her true self. Gray gives her that freedom. I read this book in one day and couldn’t put it down. I love the Perdition Pack and now we have new characters to get to know from this book. I look forward to more of the Silver Wolf Shifters and can’t wait for Nomad’s story. I also look forward to more of the Perdition stories. I give this book a 5-star review. If you like shifters, paranormal, MC, your characters always running from danger, or characters that are strong, protective, and fun to read, you will love this book.

I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.

MY REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

This story tore me apart, shredded my heart and then put everything back together and healed me by the end. It was an emotional roller coaster.

Garrick Knight is a man that lives by his morals and that is ridding the world of criminals that hurt kids and women. He can take out a target like a cartel member, government official if they are a danger to society or a group of senators that are plotting to kill a large amount of people to gain political power. The targets won’t even see him coming until it’s too late, but this time he’s on a mission because this group of Senators messed with his wife and destroyed him in the process. He doesn’t see himself as a good man, but Kate, his wife is his light and with his light gone, his darkness will prevail, but will the family at Reed Security be able to bring him back in time and convince him that Kate is alive and still needs him?

This story was a roller coaster ride for me of anger, sadness, and despair for Knight and the Reed Security family. Knight is the member of the family that trains all of the new recruits to be stealthy, deadly, and dangerous, but when his family is broken his old life comes back to him and he won’t stop hunting until those that destroyed him are put down. His darkness takes over and he is a completely different man. I loved the story and I love the characters of Reed Security and when Knight was falling apart, I felt every bit of his anguish. There is a lot going on in this final story of Reed Security and I loved every bit of it. The crazy things that Maggie does, the family bickering, teasing, and shenanigans that are pulled. Craig and his connection to Alec and Florrie, and their part in this last story was great! These men and women love hard and work hard. They will go to any lengths to keep their loved ones safe and protected, as is proven with the panic room on the property. Throughout the story I was on edge wondering how things were going to turn out, but by the end of the story, I was laughing at the way this large family were with each other and I loved every bit of it. I loved chapters fifty-six, fifty-seven and fifty-eight, they were hilarious and show how this group of misfits truly are a family.

I give this story a 5-star review and while I am sad to see the series end, I am hoping for maybe a next generation series? There are a lot of kids in this family and some of them really deserve their own stories as well. Especially Caitlin and Vittoria. I highly recommend this book and this series to readers who enjoy stories of security groups, large families, sexy men and their crazy women, and the fierce love they have with each other.
