Now he works at a deli and puts money aside so is twin sister can go to college. After another tragedy strikes the family Mikolaj is left to pick up the pieces again, but he wants revenge first. Little does he know that it can lead him to so much more than he expected.

Nessa Griffin is the youngest of the Griffin Irish Mafia family. She’s lived a sheltered life and has been treated as a princess her whole life. While she knows who and what her family is, she has never been involved in any of it like her older brother and sister are. She wants to dance for Lake City Ballet and finish college, she has no desire to get into the family business, but she’s also not blind to the danger that surrounds her daily. She just lives her life on her own terms and loves her family unconditionally.

I love Sophie Lark’s books, and her new series Brutal Birthright is no different. This story is filled with sexy men, danger, action, and wonderful characters. Nessa will be forced to find a strength that she had no idea she had and when her family sees the change in her they are surprised at the woman she is turning into. She will find so much more than strength though. She will find a different kind of love and a determination that has been there all the time, just buried. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy stories of mafia families, danger around every corner, betrayal, and sexy men that find their hearts when they least expect it. Sophie Lark’s mafia men are ruthless, dark, and determined to stay on top, get more money and power and they aren’t afraid to step into the line of fire to protect the ones they love.
