Review of Mason: Project Arma Book 4 by Nyssa Kathryn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Mason “Eagle” Ross is the watcher of the team. None of the team trusts easily, but when Sage comes to town to care for Lexi while she’s pregnant and be the team doctor, Mason keeps close watch of her. Not just because he doesn’t trust her, but also because he’s always seen her as his other half.

Dr. Sage Porter has a secret and she isn’t sure she can tell Mason about her secret because it could mean more danger for her and someone close to her. She is a determined woman herself and is focused on her task of helping the only way she can. She may question her contact, but she’s just as loyal to her family as the men of Marble Protection.

The men of Marble Protection have good reason for their trust issues, but once they have that trust you have their protection and friendship unless that trust is broken. They are loyal, sexy, protective and determined men and they have each other’s backs as well as anyone else they deem to be family. This story is full of secrets, passion, suspense, danger and non-stop action. It has wonderful characters that you can’t help but fall in love with and want them to succeed in their efforts to bring down Project Arma once and for all. They keep getting close, but someone always seems to find a way to get free. In this story we’re introduced to a new team, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it means that we will have even more books in this series. I give this book a 5-star review and I am looking forward to more in the series and I cannot wait for Wyatt’s book!

Review of Leith: A Dark Scottish Mafia Romance (Mountain Men) by Jane Henry @ArdentPRose

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Private, broody, protective and very sexy, Leith Cowen, is the Captain of the Cowen Clan now, but his father still tries to run the Clan from the shadows. Leith always feels that he has to prove himself to his father as well as the Clan. He does things differently than his father, but he still expects the respect from his family and his men.

Cairstina lives in fear most of the time from her own family. She wants to get away and find a life of peace and happiness, but her handicap puts her at a disadvantage. When she finds herself in a dangerous position, she’s sure that she won’t have to worry about the danger at home any longer because she may not make it to see the next day.

I love Jane Henry’s Mafia Romance books. Her Irish Mafia Romance stories were some of my favorites, but the Scottish Clan is right up there, and I’ve only read one book so far. The Cowen Clan is a private family that likes to keep their whereabouts and their family name and business quiet. They have their connections that know who and what they are, and they are a dangerous clan to cross. I love the family, characters, story and I am looking forward to so many more of this family. The story has a darkness, but there is a lightness as well. I love the interaction between the women in this story and how they are strong and independent, but that the men of the family will do everything in their power to protect and keep the women safe. Leith takes his role as Clan Captain very seriously and Cairstina brings out such a different side of him. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for more of the Mountain Men.

Review of Captured (Everyday Heroes World) by S. Nelson @authorsnelson1 @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Quinn Harris thought she had met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, but one fateful day opened her eyes, and she is now single and determined to stay that way for a while. The pain and loss of trust makes her focus more on her job and doing it well. She’s not ready for another relationship right now. She’s had enough pain in her life for the past three years that she’s determined to focus on herself and her job. She loves what she does and wants to do right by her clients and make them her priority.

Nolan Bennett was once a happy man that could joke and smile, but all of that changed a few years ago and now he’s happy to be on patrol without a partner. He doesn’t joke or smile at all now and his mood is always dark. He’s a loner and the only person he talks to is his younger brother, the only member of his family left.

The first meeting of these two was tense and Nolan was rude and detached from the situation. The second meeting, Quinn was not happy that this was the officer assigned to meet her at her client’s house, and Nolan was embarrassed for his previous behavior when he saw Quinn again. These two seemed to be in each other’s paths now and nothing could prepare them for the way things would work out. Neither of them was looking for a relationship, but how could they deny the intensity they felt when they would see each other? Whether it was fate that brought them together or something else, these two were meant for each other. If for no other reason than to heal each other. This story was tragic, amusing at times, heartbreaking at other times, but a beautiful story none the less. I loved it and give it a 4.5-star review. I love S. Nelson’s books; they are always a great read for me. I look forward to more of these stories and hope that there will be one with Will’s story.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Lunatic: Ruthless Asylum, Book 1 by K.L. Savage @klsavage_author @GiveMeBooksPR #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Oh my! This book was a wild ride of emotions. It is a story about some very difficult illnesses and the people that have to live with them. However, it’s done is such a great way. I think what really hit me in this book was Chloe’s anger at Reaper and her statement to him. “They are stronger than you think. They are not fragile.” Her anger shows just how strong she is. I love the characters and the story. It’s tragic, haunting and beautiful.

I love Reaper even more in this story as it shows such a different side to him and how much he gives to family no matter how long he has known them or their circumstances. He’s a wonderful man that will do anything for those he cares about. The entire Ruthless crew is that way and even though they drive Reaper crazy with their shenanigans, craziness, or how their minds may be cracked, Reaper will always stand beside them and help and protect them.

I love Chloe and Jessica; they are the perfect match for Zain and he’s a great character. I can’t wait for more of the Ruthless Asylum stories and characters. I think with each character and book that K. L. Savage writes in this series and break out series, get better with each book. I give this story a 5-star review and am so looking forward to more of the Ruthless Kings and Ruthless Asylum series to come. If you like your books with a touch of crazy, you’ll love these books!

Review of Bound by Consequences:Bound #7 (Ravage MC, Book 16) by Ryan Michele @EJBookPromos @Ryan_Michele #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Micah was an outcast in his family. He never felt as if he fit in, until he grew up and realized how short live could be and how his family The Ravage MC actually had each other’s backs and would stand up for their family and protect them at all cost. He couldn’t see that when he was a kid and he caused a lot of trouble and turmoil with the club right up to the time he left, four years ago to join the Marines. Now he’s back and he has a lot to answer for. Now that he’s a man he is ready to prove his loyalty to the MC and take his punishment for all of the trouble he caused over the years. He just hopes it’s not too little too late.

Cyrus “Ensley” is a woman that just wants the freedom to live her life on her terms. If not for a chance meeting almost three years ago she would still be under the thumb of her father and family, luckily that meeting gave her the strength and determination to leave and make a life for herself. Her shock at seeing Micah again now has her terrified that her life will be turned upside down and her freedom will be taken away from her.

I loved this story. There is so much turmoil and angst, but the characters are great, and the story was an awesome read. I love the Ravage MC’s men and women. They are tough, loyal, dangerous and protective of their own, whether they are blood or not. There were a few times I wanted to scream at some of them to stop and listen to people and maybe be a little less sharp to get their pay back for what a “kid” said or did, but overall, the book was a great read and I look forward to the next book in the series. I also realized that I have some catching up to do as well on these guys. I give this book a 5-star review and am anxiously waiting for more!

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Brass may have once been a scrawny nerd, but now he’s the enforcer for the RBMC, Pittsburgh, PA and he looks nothing like he did as a kid. He has a tragic past and a darkness to him that makes him who he is as a man in his thirty’s. He’s lethal, powerful, and loyal to his club. He does have one weakness though and unfortunately; he has no idea how to go about showing her that he’s interested.

Jewel just wants to get away from her man. She’s done being his target, but she doesn’t really want to leave the RBMC. They’ve been more of a family to her than she’s had in years. Her life is about to take a huge turn and with it she’ll be able to stay with the RBMC, but at what cost? Her life with Barney hasn’t been roses and his shadiness could haunt her forever.

I really liked this story. Brass is a man that is sexy, strong, messed up, and dangerous in more ways than being the enforcer. His past haunts him and he just wants to overcome that and be able to have the life he really wants with Jewel, but he’s afraid to take what he wants and let the RBMC help him. He feels responsible for so much, but the brothers need to make him understand that he is loved and respected and that they have his back in all things. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Pittsburgh, PA RBMC chapter.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review of Sentinel’s Kiss (Sons of Babylon, Book 2) by Jamie K. Schmidt @Jamiekswriter

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Josh “Sentinel” Lehman still wants retribution for his sister’s death two years ago. He’s a patient man and will get his vengeance, no matter how long it takes, he was a sniper, so he knows how to be patient. A chance sighting of the reporter that he spoke to after his sister’s death could be the lead he’s been looking for. Of course, the fact that she’s still a beautiful now as she was two years ago isn’t a problem either. Maybe Josh can get a taste of her again.

Ashely Carver has new information regarding the death of Sarah Stevens and she’s hoping to get closure for the woman’s death. She’s a tenacious woman that doesn’t give up on a story and she digs deep for her answers. She has her own trauma in her past that haunts her dreams.

This story is action packed as well as danger packed. It has more to it than either Sentinel or Ashley could have expected. A retired cop, an ex-army sniper, a previous warden and a previous spook all executive members of the Sons of Babylon MC. They have been friends and members of the S.O.B.’s since they were kids, even if they were a different kind of bike club back then. Now they’re adults and know even more about the evil that lurks in the shadows. They run their bar below their club house that serves the men in blue and keeps them in the know of what is going on in their town. They are dangerous, loyal and deep. I give this story a 5-star review and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. These characters drew me in from the first book and have held on tight. It’s a different take on an MC and I love it.

Review of Matteo (The Syndicates, Book 1) by Cala Riley

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Matteo wants what his friends have, one woman to come home to each night. He may finally find that, but his process of going about it is a little skewed.

Vanessa has been on her own for a long time now and can take care of herself, but a chance encounter puts her in the crosshairs of more than one questionable guy.

I enjoyed this story and I loved Matteo. He may be a mafia capo, but he has a heart and takes care of and protects those he cares about. I love his family, both by blood and heart. Vanessa will try his patience on many occasions, but these two are actually made for each other. I love the characters and the story. It’s suspenseful, entertaining and enough action to keep the pages turning. I give this story a 4-star review and look forward to more of The Syndicates books by Cala Riley.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Smash and Grab: A Callahan Security Novel, Book 2 by Lori Matthews @HiddenGemsBooks @_LoriMatthews_

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Take some time and go to the Bahamas, take a mini vacation, but also tail Lacy Carmichael to see if she’s involved in the corporate espionage, sure. It isn’t as easy as Logan Callahan’s brother, Gage made it out to be. He’s not into the whole tough guy thing like Gage and Mitch are. He’s a businessman. It would be better if he weren’t attracted to the beautiful lawyer, but he is, so it complicates the situation. Along with her secrets and her hidden identity, Logan Callahan and Lacy Carmichael are in for quite the weekend.

I really enjoyed this story. Its action packed, suspenseful, intriguing and off the charts steam between these two. The secrets that come out and the twists and turns of the story made the pages burn and tugged me in for the ride. The characters are interesting and fun to read and they have their own style which draws out the person deep inside when they work together. Lacy can see a different side of Logan when his need to protect her and keep her safe shines through. I loved the story and the characters and want to read more of the Callahan’s. I did not read the first book in the series, but it did not hinder my reading of this story at all. I do want to go back and read Break and Enter for a better understanding of the first meeting between Lacy and Logan though. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more books by Lori Matthews in this series.

MY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Daimon has found a family with the Untamed Sons, he’s been with them since he was a teenager, and he knows without a doubt that they have his back whenever he needs them. So, when he finds himself paying for a recent mistake, he isn’t worried that his brothers won’t find him or rescue him. He just has to hold on until they get there. His life is different now and he has more to lose than he did before.

Briella is spiraling out of control and the only person who sees it is her roommate and best friend Layla. She’s been raised by her big brother since he pulled her out of their home as a teen. She loves Levi and knows that he cares about her, but her mind is fighting demons and it seems no one can help her.

When Briella is seen somewhere she doesn’t belong Daimon’s eyes are opened to the fact that she’s in trouble and needs help. He’ll worm his way into her life to protect her and bring her out of the dark hole she’s dug herself into. I really enjoyed this story and the twist in this story that was different than the others in the series. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Untamed Sons MC series to come. Hopefully there will be some with the US club in the future as well. The men of the Untamed Sons may have darkness in them, but when they find their light a whole new side of them is seen. I loved Daimon.
