Harley and Jack have a history as children, but now that their lives are intertwined due to family and friends, they have to find a way to overcome their past history as well as their childhood pain.

Jack needs help when he receives an unexpected visitor and turning to his only family, Xander and Maddie, he gets more than he bargained for. The best part is that his life will only get better with the help of his family by choice. Jack had a rough childhood, but his life got so much better when he finally found a family by choice in Xander and his family. He and Xander faced some tragedy together and are stronger for their friendship.

Harley had a rough childhood, but she hasn’t found much good in her life, with the exception of her best friend Maddie and her children. Now that Maddie and Xander have moved on and are making a life together, Harley is feeling a bit dejected and alone. How can she make it on her own when she’s struggling so much to make ends meet? Maddie may have the answers she needs, but is she willing to put everything on the line for it?

I liked the story, and the characters are great. I do wish that Pops had more of a part in the story especially on Jack’s side since he had such a shock to his life. It would have been good to see that relationship as well. I loved Jack’s humor and his vulnerabilities. He is a great character, and his path and HEA were great to read. His childhood did a number on him and his vulnerability of being left behind and not being good enough, broke my heart. He’s a good man with a huge heart that he keeps hidden to protect it, but the right girl/girls can open it up and make him a better man than the believes he is. I enjoyed the story and look forward to more in the Safe in Love Series. I give this book a 4-star review.

A great start to a new series. I love the characters and story!

Logan is a former special ops soldier that was used by the Project Arma team that is now all gone. However, just as the guys were cleaning up all of the Project Arma people, they were betrayed by one person, now all of them being hounded by reporters to get the full story and no one is free to live their life without the media hounding them. Logan thought that with his team he could run their security business and live peacefully, but their privacy is being breached because reporters think that everyone needs to know the full story.

Grace Castle had no choice in going public and going against her morals because if she doesn’t her life if forfeit all because someone threatened to reveal her past and it could lead back to her captivity. Little does she know when tries to apologize to the men at Blue Halo Security that she will find the protection and security that she needs, however, she will have to fight for both. These men are not happy with her, but Logan sees something in her and his protective nature comes out around her.

I loved the Project Arma series, and the Blue Halo series looks to be just as interesting, action packed, and addicting as the Project Arma books, even with all of the Project Arma danger out of the way. I loved Logan’s story and am looking forward to reading all of the other guys’ stories in the series. I give this book a 5-star review and highly recommend the book as well as the series that started this one, Project Arma. Sexy, protective, lethal Alpha’s in each book.

I haven’t read a book by Janine Infante Bosco that I have not devoured, loved, and ended wanting more. Deceit and Destruction was just as good as Chaos and Corruption. This is Robinson’s story, and it was great!

Mike Robinson made a bad decision to survive in the privileged college Stonewall University. He’s not like the others on his team, he had to work hard to get to Stonewall University, he didn’t come into the world with a silver spoon in his mouth. His bad decision could destroy his career after college, and it will definitely disappoint his mother. The worst part is that his bad decision almost killed his teammate, roommate and friend. Now he needs to bring his grades up if he wants to remain on the football team. The biggest issue now is the Scorpion Society and how they want to have their claws in everything to do with the privileged and powerful students that attend Stonewall University.

Cassie Phillips is a tutor at Stonewall University and is being controlled by the Scorpio Society to tutor all those that are associated with the Society. She doesn’t want to do it, but she has no choice, that is until Mike needs her help to get his grades up and his attraction to her leads to him working with his former roommate and his current roommate. Webber is trying to help out his roommate and Cassie, but things are going to get dangerous, deadly, and dirty before all is said and done.

I loved this second book in the series and give it a 5-star review. I can’t wait for Misconduct and Manipulation next. I love Janine Infante Bosco’s books. They are always action packed, steamy, and addicting reads.

Cole has been searching for Pamela since she disappeared from the face of the planet, or so it seems. He’s in love with her, and she’s in love with him, but in denial. Cole let Pamela run emotionally but now that he’s found her in South America, he’ll rescue her, protect her, and show her that they’re meant to be together. Cole’s job with the ex-Russian Bratva, has given him the resources and safety to bring her home and protect her, but he has a huge battle looming to get her to give in to him about their relationship.

Pamela has a lot of secrets and demons to face before she can give Cole what he wants, but she has to recover from her kidnapping first and learn to trust again and learn to open her eyes and really see the people that she has been brought to for protection. Her cynicism and her narrow sight could be the end of Cole’s safety net if she can’t get over herself and find a way to open up to Cole about her past.

I really liked Cole but felt that he deserved so much more than what he was getting from Pamela and her narrow sight about the men that Cole works for. These men have turned their lives around and have women and families that love them unconditionally. I realize that her past has shaded her sight, but she’s so narrow minded that it irritates me. I love the other characters in this series and enjoyed the book, but I wanted to smack Pamela more than a few times. I give the book a 4-star review and look forward to more these characters. I am afraid to read The Game though as I hate to see the end of the series.

Ghost has made some bad decisions in his life and the latest ones could cost him his life as well as his heart and bring up one the mistakes he made at a young age. He’s gone to the Serpents MC in Las Vegas to set up a deal to help him repay his debt with his current MC, but the bar tender at Ecstasy, the Serpent’s strip club has him wanting to stick around longer than he planned when he first showed up in Las Vegas.

Roxy tends bar for the Serpents’ strip club and has put her wild days behind her where she goes for the bad boy bikers, however when the sexy stranger comes in looking for the president of the Serpents MC, she has a hard time saying no to him. A little time outside at his bike will scratch her itch.

Roxy and Ghost have some painful secrets from their pasts and are both trying to find their way to absolution and being the person that can lead a life on the right side of morality. When they find that they can’t stay away from each other, their lives head down a path of danger and there’s only one person that can save them. While that person cares for Roxy, he has no good feelings towards Ghost, and it could be a high price to pay for Ghost. I enjoyed this story and found the characters to be tough, unrelenting, and lethal. Ghost has a lot to make up for and he’s willing to put in the effort to right his past mistakes, but will he get the chance to do it? I give this book a 4-star review.

Ryker took over as the President and owner of the Bar for the Smokey Bandits MC and needs to find a way to pull it out of the red and making a profit again. In order to do that he has to make some changes and add staff. He doesn’t want to go to Ace the past president that stepped down to run his casino and have time for his family, so he makes a bad choice and goes to a loan shark. Now, he needs to make payments and the loan shark wants to be sure that he reminds him that his payment is due at the end of the week, so he shows up at the bar and makes threats that scare Ryker.

Harlow is in need of a job to keep a roof over her and her little girl and keep food on the table for them. She lives next door to her mom, who helps with childcare and as much as she can, but Harlow knows that it’s her responsibility to take care of her and her daughter, so with no work experience at all, she goes to the Smokey Bandits bar and applies for a waitressing job.

Ryker and Harlow meet when Harlow needs to find a job and Ryker needs to hire a waitress for the Smokey Bandits bar. Ryker is determined to keep things professional, and Harlow is fine with that since her choice in men in the past has not been great in the past. Now there is more danger lurking around Harlow because she chose to be stubborn and not leave her bosses office when a loan shark showed up to remind him of his payment and got on the loan sharks’ radar. Now if Ryker doesn’t make his payment, Harlow will be taken as collateral. Ryker needs to protect Harlow, her daughter, and her mother, as well as go to Ace after all. Things will get heated and these two will have to really fight their attraction. I enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I give it a 4-star review and I look forward to more of the Smokey Bandit MC books.
