Under My Radar Teaser 3

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5-stars

Lee Young is a man who was born into the mafia and set to take his father’s place as his father steps down. He knows this is his destiny but one meeting with a beautiful woman makes him want more out of life as well as a different life. When her past comes back into their lives and creates havoc lives will change forever,

Arabella McNaughton a young woman who has her own past that she is trying to get away from and stay hidden from it. She moved back home to care for her mother who was attacked and beaten. If she’s going to live with her mum, she needs a job so that she can take care of her mum and herself. She finds a job working in a bar owned by none other than Lee Young. Her first meeting with him in person is not what she was expecting or hoping for.

This story was full of suspense, some twists, and a broody, hot Alpha. It was an intense read, but so easy and quick to read. It sucked me in and kept me prisoner with the action, suspense, and sexy men. I hated to put it down and I was not happy when it ended. It is a great story with great characters and left me wanting more. I really hope that there will be a next book about Ryan.

I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who like mafia, broody men, women who speak their minds, and stories of finding that one person who loves you unconditionally.

Review of Wild: Heaven Hill Generations Series Book Two, by Laramie Briscoe @LaramieBriscoe

Wild

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5-stars

Addalynn “Addie” Blackfoot another Heaven Hill Princess, also the best friend of Tatum Walker. Her father is the VP of Heaven Hill and man that no one wants to cross. Addie was adopted by Tyler and Meredith Blackfoot at a very young age. Now that she is eighteen, she wonders who she is and where she belongs. Since her best friend Tatum has a boyfriend and they don’t talk or hang out like they used to she’s feeling very alone and out of place in her life. This is making her do things that she knows she is not supposed to, like going out to the new bar in town, Mayhem.

Wilder “Wild” Evans, a man who is trying to find a new path in life. Left his home state of Mississippi with the clothes on his back, a couple of changes in his saddle bags, a box with his grandfather’s ashes in, and his motorcycle. He has not path in life and ends up breaking down outside of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Feeling alone and out of place he contemplates what his next step will be when two men ride up on motorcycles and help him out. They end up doing more for him than anyone who has known him for years, with the exception of his grandfather.

This story was to heartbreaking, yet so beautiful. I was heartbroken when Addie and Wild were feeling so alone and trying to find their place in life, but it was so beautiful when they found each other and actually let their walls down and became a couple. I loved it.

I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy MC, women who skirt the rules in their lives to find their path, and stories of two broken souls being healed. I am so ready to read Fury. The ending to Wild has me on edge. It’s not a cliff-hanger, but it gives a glimpse into what where the story will lead next. I can’t wait!

Review of Hurricane: Heaven Hill Generations Series Book One, by Laramie Briscoe @LaramieBriscoe

Hurricane

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5-stars

Tatum Walker, princess of the Heaven Hills MC, is a young woman who doesn’t trust easily. Most of the people who want to date her or be her friend want that relationship to get close to her father or her family. The one man that she thought she could trust with her heart rejected her and has spoken to him in a year.

Remington “Remy” Sawyer is a man that most would never have thought of being in an MC if they knew him as a boy. He was skinny, asthmatic, and scared. His older brother, Cash, took him away from their mother and Remington’s dad and finished raising him. Giving him a safe place to live and grow into the man he is now. With the help and support of the Heaven Hill MC men, Remy and Cash are now living the life that they deserve and have a family that love them. Remy watched Tatum grow into the woman she is now and if he had been smart, he would have never rejected her last year when she offered herself to him. Now he has to find a way to get her back and show her that he loves her and will do whatever it takes to protect her and love her.

This story is a story of redemption, growing up, and friendship. Tatum and Remy needed that year break to grow up and realize that they were whole when they had each other in their lives. Tatum is dealing with the embarrassment of what she did after Remy rejected her and Remy is dealing with figuring out how to convince Tatum to give him a second chance. While they are finding their way back to each other, Remy also has to deal with his demons from his childhood.

I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy MC, redemption stories, and stories of two people who were made for each other finding their way together. This book has a sexy cover too.

I have not read the first Heaven Hills series but have it and will be reading it as soon as I have some time. I really want to get to know the beginning characters in this series. Now onto Wild, so that I can get ready for Fury. Review coming soon.

Review of Convict (Sin City Salvation Series #2) by A. Zavarelli @AZavarellibooks

Zavareilli has done it again. She’s published another great read!

A story of a sexy, scarred, and broken biker and a beautiful, broken, con artist woman who will be thrown together to keep her safe and out of his loyalty for the first person to believe in him.

Birdie Blue is a woman who is scarred from her childhood and can’t seem to get away from the men who destroyed her childhood. She puts herself in danger to keep her older sister safe and to keep herself out of jail.

Huck Fallon “Ace” is a man who was abused from the day he was born. He hasn’t had an easy life and there’s not many men that he trusts. Lucien is the first person to believe in him and give him a chance in life. The other men are the men of his MC.

I really liked this book and the connection between Birdie and Ace is instant, but they try to ignore the attraction because both of them feel that they are not good enough or deserve a good life. The tragedy they each endured as children has scarred them and they believe they are broken and irredeemable. It’s a suspenseful, heartbreaking, tragic, and beautiful story. I give this story a 4.5-star review and suggest it to readers who like MC, corruption, criminal, and tragic stories. There are a few twists and enough suspense to keep you turning the pages and not wanting to put the book down.

Review of Falling for the Forbidden (The Forbidden Series) by Tracy Lorraine @GiveMeBooksPR and @Tracy_L_Author

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5-stars out of 5

A book about a forbidden love that is full of passion, deception, and a family that’s broken. The story of Ben and Lauren’s love is a forbidden love because they are step siblings. Lauren’s father is married to Ben’s mom, who was a widow. Ben’s mom Jenny is a rich woman who inherited her husband’s business when he died of natural causes. Lauren’s dad, Nick swooped in and manipulated Jenny into believing that he loved her and was her knight in shining armor.

Nick has forbidden Ben to see Lauren or even touch her, but he really has no control over their relationship, or does he? When Nick finds out about Ben and Lauren, he uses threats to break them up.

This book is intense and crushing at times. These are two young adults who see nothing wrong with their attraction and want to fight for their happiness, but they are young and their desire to protect the ones they love drive them. They aren’t able to think things through when they make a decision and it causes pain for everyone.

I really enjoyed this story and give it is 4.5-star review. I am looking forward to more of Ben and Lauren’s story, especially since the end of this one crushed me. This was my first read of Tracy Lorraine’s books, but I am glad I read it and I look forward to reading more. If you like angsty, young adult, forbidden love or stories that pull at your heartstrings, then you should pick up this book and read it.

ARC Review: Losing the Forbidden (Forbidden Series #2) by Tracy Lorraine @GiveMeBooksPR and @Tracy_L_Author

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5-stars out of 5

Wow, if I thought Falling for the Forbidden crushed me, I was not prepared for Losing the Forbidden. This one slayed me to the core.

Ben and Lauren have been separated for six years. Lauren believes that he left of his own free will, and she has moved on with her life. Ben is stuck in the past and he is just waiting for the day that he can go home.

That day comes, but he is in for so much more heartache. Ben has a lot on his plate with his father’s business. He needs to figure out where his life is going now, and he needs to find a way to move on and take care of his mum.

This story slayed me. There was a lot of pain and destruction in it, and most of it was caused by one man. I cried for Ben and Lauren and I also got so angry with them. I did enjoy the book though and give it a 4.5-star review. I am anxious for more of their story. I recommend this book to readers who like stories about young love, angsty love, or rebuilding.

ARC Review of: Racked (Grafton County Series #4) by Sue Coletta @SueColetta1 #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5-stars

Another hit out of the park for Sue Coletta. The Grafton County Series is about the lives of Niko and Sage Quintano who live in Grafton County New Hampshire. Niko is the Sheriff and Sage is a crime writer. Sage has survived more than her fair share of tragedy, but in this book, it looks like she will have to go through more tragedy and her family is in danger once again as well. As usual, she will not rest until she knows that those she loves are safe.

Racked

Blurb:

Five missing boys and an adult corpse found in the town’s water shed was only the beginning for Sage and Niko Quintano. After a hooded-stranger gives their son, Noah, a stuffed animal–the exact Christmas moose given to all the missing boys days before their abductions–their lives spiral downward into uncertainty.

Could Noah be the next boy to go missing?

As they piece together each cryptic clue, the future looks more and more grim. But what they soon discover blows everyone’s mind, the truth teetering on the unfathomable.

What does it all mean, and where do they go from here?

I love Niko and Sage as well as the other characters in the Grafton County Series. Nico is always trying to support Sage in her writing and her need for investigating, but she sometimes gets out of hand and Niko worries about her. He has no control over her or Frankie. Sheriff Deputy Frankie Campanelli is sassy, snarky, and funny. She tries to be professional, but her personality slips out when she least expects it. Frankie’s antics always makes me laugh, even when she is doing her job and trying to be a good deputy, she just can’t seem to help herself. One of her replies to a request by Sheriff Quintano is “Minga, dude. You’re as useless as tits on a rooster.” She thrust a pointed finger toward the ground. “Get your ass down here now. You’re an embarrassment to the badge.” She was talking to young deputy Preston Bradley.

As I started this book, I was laughing, by the time I was at chapter 14, I was crying, and by the time I got to the end of this book, I was thinking, WTH? I give this book a 5-star review and cannot recommend this book, or any of Sue Coletta’s books, to readers enough. If you like snarky, sassy, strong women, crime stories, and suspense in your books, you will not be disappointed reading this book.

Review of Merciless (The Severinov Bratva Series) by Kristen Luciani

Merciless

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5-stars

Kazimir “Kaz” is trying to get redemption for a past mistake that took from his family. He’s a dangerous man but his heartache is making him act before he thinks. He needs to convince his family that they are still in danger and that there is a traitor in the family, but he needs to get them to see that he is not the screw up that they all think he is.

Lindy ran away from her family after finding out that everything she thought she knew about her family was a lie. Their codling and sheltering of her almost got her killed and now she is determined to live her life on her own terms and left to make that happen. However, in order for her to do that she needs money and the plan that she comes up with is dangerous and she has convinced her two best friends and roommates to join her in her plan. Her plan could get them all beat up or worse, killed.

When Lindy and Kaz’s paths cross the sparks fly and Kaz’s relentless pursuit of Lindy confuses her. Why is he so interested in her and why does she always get tongue tied around him? When Kaz finds a way that will bring Lindy to him, the sparks really fly.

I absolutely loved this story. A woman who finds herself on her own and is strong, confident, and smart gets taken to her knees by a man who is powerful, lethal, and broken. The sparks between these two are hot, electric and dangerous. While they each have their own agendas, they both find a way to come to terms with their pasts and find a way forward. Kaz is a very sexy man he protects those that he cares about at all costs. The characters in this story are awesome. I love when these two figure out that their world is smaller than they thought. I did not want this book to end. I hope to read more about Katie and Raven as well as Tali and Leo. I look forward to more stories by Ms. Luciani as this was my first read of her books but won’t be my last. I cannot wait for Possessive.

I give this book a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who like mafia, suspense, women who are sassy and strong and men who love their women this way.

Review of The Kompromat Kill by Michael Jenkins @rararesources @FailsafeQuery #spythriller #politicalthriller

The Kompromat adverts kompromat 5

🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ 4.5 out of 5-stars

Wow! Talk about suspense, spies and politics! This book is full of all of this and more.

Sean is a man with a price on his head, a career that was taken from him, and his own way of doing things. He is tasked with helping his former agency with finding a woman who he once had an affair with and sousing out who she’s working for. His path will lead him to a few secrets that he knew nothing about and will also put him in danger more than once.

Jack is a man who works with a group of spies that are used when MI5 doesn’t want to accept responsibility of an op. They are the black ops of the British Secret
Service. He will call on Sean to assemble his team and do recon on a few different cases that have come up recently, only to find out that they are actually all related.

In order to control the politicians surrounding this plot and the reason for plan in the first place, Jack will have to resort to a little tactic from Russia and invoke the Kompromat for their plan of derailing the terrorists.

I really enjoyed the suspense and the espionage in this book. The story was packed with information, suspense and characters that pulled me in and kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next, and if anyone was going to blow the op or be compromised as they were working to find the leader of the terrorist plot that they’re working to break up.

I give this story a 4.5-star review and highly recommend it to readers who like spy thrillers, political thrillers, suspense, and a team of spies who work very well together.

My 5-Star review of Hell on Wheels by Penny Dee #TuesdayBookBlog @GiveMeBooksPR and @AuthorPennyDee

HellonWheelsInstagram

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Awesome Stars out of 5-stars

I love the Kings of Mayhem. They are men who treat their women like queens and are hot, powerful, and lethal. If you want to read a story about a man who had a father that was less than ideal, joined the Navy and served his country, was injured in war, and came back home to join the MC he grew up around, and then found the only woman who could bring him out of his darkness, then you need to pick up Hell on Wheels by Penny Dee. Chance Calley is a man who lives in darkness after returning home from war. He can’t seem to find his way to the light even now that he is surrounded by his family and back in his home town.

Cassidy is a young woman who is scarred and on the run from her family. She has the voice of an angel and plays guitar as well. She is also the light that Chance Calley needs to focus on to find his way back.

I love the Kings of Mayhem series and the men in them. I have to say that this one is probably my favorite so far. I love that Chance will get to come to terms with what he had to do and find peace in his life. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend it to readers who like MC, strong women, and men who will fight to the death for the woman they love and their family.
