This was an intense book. I’ve enjoyed The Knucklehead books so far, but this one had me on the edge of my seat and wanting to skip parts to see what was going to happen. I love how Queen Bee is so sassy, strong, and finds her confidence. My favorite so far. I was so engrossed in this book and wanting to get to the next parts that I hated when the book was done.

Queen Bee’s story about how she came to ride with the Knuckleheads is a story of a young girl trying to find her way in life and finding so much more than she expected. She not only finds a new life, but she finds a family with a bunch of men who need her in their lives too. She really doesn’t realize the effect she has had on the lives of the men riding with the Knuckleheads until she is at a point in her life where she feels she has no one or anything left.

This was a real page turner and I loved it. I give it 4-stars and recommend it to readers who like MC stories, sexy, strong, dangerous men, and one little woman who has more power than she even realizes.

Wow! Packed full of action, suspense, desire, revenge and turmoil.

Leonti “Leo” Severinov is the second oldest Severinov child and has always felt that he needed to prove himself to his father and oldest brother. He is also being driven by revenge and will put himself in danger to find the man who is responsible for the death of his mother. However, he finds himself in a situation that could get him killed if he cannot deliver the goods that he has promised to Topa, a man who will do most anything for the highest bidder. This could be what destroys the Severinov Bratva. The only thing is, he is expecting a double cross.

Myla Tarasov is a young woman who wants to find her big break in life and become the dancer she has dreamed of for years. Myla is a naïve young woman who knows why her family had to flee Russia, but she thinks they are safe in New York.

Not only has Leo saved her from never being seen or heard from again, now he has to save her life again. This time could cost him more than his life though. She appears to be a quiet, unassuming woman, but following the tragedy she has just gone through and the threat of her life, the fire will come out and she will burn anyone in her path. I love when she puts a certain man in place, I think it’s my favorite part of the book.

I loved this story. Leo is so different when he is away from his family and Myla is stronger than she thinks. Their shared past will bring them together, but their differences and their passion will light the pages. This story drew me in so quickly and kept me under its spell through the entire book. The suspense of Severinov family’s revenge and the thrill of wondering what will happen next and who will come out of it alive at the end kept me devouring the pages. I hated to get to the end, but on the other hand, I wanted to finish the book to find out what would happen. I am really excited for more of this series and I hope that it does not end too soon. The cover is very sexy and the cover model is such a great ideal of Leo in my mind. I give this story a 5-star review and encourage you go one-click it today.

Dwight Ryder has struggled with his life after serving his country. He was out of control until he met a man who showed him that he wasn’t as tough as he thought he was, and he needed to value his life and change his ways. He became a member of In the Shadows Security and turned his life around.

Kelsea Dougherty is a young woman who is out of control and doesn’t care about her life. After she found out who her father was, she started spinning out of control and made everyone who loves her constantly worry about her. No knew what caused the destructive behavior other than discovering who her father was, a man who was pure evil.

This is a heart-wrenching story of how secrets can destroy lives and how tragedy in one’s life can be destructive. It is also a story of how understanding and love can help someone who is hurting find a way to turn their life around and find that reason to live and lead a happy life. I loved Ryder and Kelsea’s story. It made me laugh at times, but it also made me cry at times. It is a beautiful yet angsty love story that brings two people together that are made for each other.

I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who like angst, drama, loving families that are not all blood related, and survivor stories. The men of In the Shadows Security are tough, grumpy, loyal, protective and broody. They love deeply and completely. I look forward to more of the Guts & Glory Series.

Holy Fury!

A man who wants to protect his family at all costs, but he has no idea where the threat is coming from. How can he fight the unknown? Will he ever be able to trust his brothers again?

Drew is now the President of the Heaven Hill MC since his father stepped down. It’s been a year now that they have been fighting the unknown danger surrounding their family and it’s taking its toll on Drew. He’s not eating, not sleeping and uncharacteristically angry all the time. He’s been told the threat is coming from a half-brother he knew nothing about. The only thing is that his wife Charity has received an anonymous e-mail warning of a mole in their family, the MC. Now they have to figure out who it is before someone they love is hurt or taken from them.

I loved this story. It’s full of suspense, danger, tragedy and a family that will fight for each other, even with a threat coming from within. The Heaven Hill MC is a family of misfits who take in those that need to be rescued and need a family. They are not all blood, but they are a family none the less. When they have a threat from within, they become even tighter to flush out the mole that is threatening their lives and their freedom to live their lives.

I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who like stories with suspense, MC’s, and danger lurking around the corner. This book pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let go until the last page. I laughed, cried, and got angry with the characters in this story, but in the end, I was pulling for them all to get what they wanted and have their HEA. I did miss Wild in this story though. I am almost afraid to say that I am looking forward to the next book to come, because the ending of this one left me in tears, but I have to know what happens next. I am loving these characters and want to know so much more about them.

Melanie “Mel” Jacoby and her eight sisters are special and want to help the world by bringing technology and growth to people. Unfortunately, for them there is a group of people who don’t want that, and it has put Mel and her friends in danger. They could all be eliminated so that they won’t continue with their plan to open the theater in town, Les Neufs Soeur, The Theater of Muses.

Detective Nate Malone is a man who barely escaped his childhood and is also dealing with demons from the job. After he meets Mel at her apartment after a tragedy, instincts that he was not aware of begin to show themselves. Mel has opened something inside Detective Malone that will be a blessing.

I really enjoyed this book. I don’t read a lot of paranormal, not that I don’t like it, it’s just not a go to for me. With that being said, this book drew me in with the blurb. It has suspense, crime, sexy Alpha men and great characters, which is what I like in my books. It is a story of tragedy, loss, love, and ends with happiness. I do enjoy mythology and this story brought that into play. Now I need to read the rest of the series to see what happens, because this story intrigued me, and I want to follow the rest of the muses to see what happens.

I give this story a 4.5-star review and I look forward to reading more of The Muse Chronicles.

Tessa Bell has been through so much in her young life. She has survived more attempts on her life than most people would get the chance to. She’s wary of the outside world due to everything she has been through and feels that if she just keeps away from the all of the danger, she’ll be fine. That doesn’t mean that she always believes that she will be safe in her own home though and that is evident by the knife under her pillow that she is trying to get to in time to defend herself from the man that she knows is in her bedroom. Tessa lives in her large family mansion with her fifteen-year-old son and there are homes on the property where her brother and his family live as well as her late husband’s partner from the police force, Skylar Wyatt, and his wife live. Her son, PJ, is home schooled and is a loner just like his mom.

Jack Xander and his partner Xavier Montague are called to the Micah Mansion on a case of a kidnapping. Tessa Bell had been kidnapped from her own bed in the middle of the night and now they were on a time line to find her alive and bring her home. This case is a high-profile case and will be worked by Jack and Xavier and Jack’s younger brother, Ryan and his partner Paige. They will learn that even though Tessa was a recluse, Ryan’s wife Sofia knows her and has known her and been friends with her since childhood.

This story is full of suspense, twists and turns, mystery, and turmoil. It’s intense and the killer is kept hidden very well by Jane Blythe. I had no clue who the villain was until Ms. Blythe wanted me to. I love a good mystery, suspense, thriller where the killer is revealed later in the story and I have to deduce who it could be. A lot of times, I have a good idea of who it is, but in this story as with the other stories in this series, I have a hard time narrowing it down and figuring it out. I love that it is not easily determined in this story and it made it so much better when I found out who it was, especially because it was not at all who I thought.

I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who like stories that will draw you in and tug at your heart while simultaneously have you wanting the killer to be caught before anyone else has to suffer for his or her demented mind. If you are a lover of suspense and thrillers, this is the book you should one-click and read right away.

Arabella McNaughton a young woman who has her own past that she is trying to get away from and stay hidden from it. She moved back home to care for her mother who was attacked and beaten. If she’s going to live with her mum, she needs a job so that she can take care of her mum and herself. She finds a job working in a bar owned by none other than Lee Young. Her first meeting with him in person is not what she was expecting or hoping for.

This story was full of suspense, some twists, and a broody, hot Alpha. It was an intense read, but so easy and quick to read. It sucked me in and kept me prisoner with the action, suspense, and sexy men. I hated to put it down and I was not happy when it ended. It is a great story with great characters and left me wanting more. I really hope that there will be a next book about Ryan.

I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who like mafia, broody men, women who speak their minds, and stories of finding that one person who loves you unconditionally.

Addalynn “Addie” Blackfoot another Heaven Hill Princess, also the best friend of Tatum Walker. Her father is the VP of Heaven Hill and man that no one wants to cross. Addie was adopted by Tyler and Meredith Blackfoot at a very young age. Now that she is eighteen, she wonders who she is and where she belongs. Since her best friend Tatum has a boyfriend and they don’t talk or hang out like they used to she’s feeling very alone and out of place in her life. This is making her do things that she knows she is not supposed to, like going out to the new bar in town, Mayhem.

Wilder “Wild” Evans, a man who is trying to find a new path in life. Left his home state of Mississippi with the clothes on his back, a couple of changes in his saddle bags, a box with his grandfather’s ashes in, and his motorcycle. He has not path in life and ends up breaking down outside of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Feeling alone and out of place he contemplates what his next step will be when two men ride up on motorcycles and help him out. They end up doing more for him than anyone who has known him for years, with the exception of his grandfather.

This story was to heartbreaking, yet so beautiful. I was heartbroken when Addie and Wild were feeling so alone and trying to find their place in life, but it was so beautiful when they found each other and actually let their walls down and became a couple. I loved it.

I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy MC, women who skirt the rules in their lives to find their path, and stories of two broken souls being healed. I am so ready to read Fury. The ending to Wild has me on edge. It’s not a cliff-hanger, but it gives a glimpse into what where the story will lead next. I can’t wait!

Tatum Walker, princess of the Heaven Hills MC, is a young woman who doesn’t trust easily. Most of the people who want to date her or be her friend want that relationship to get close to her father or her family. The one man that she thought she could trust with her heart rejected her and has spoken to him in a year.

Remington “Remy” Sawyer is a man that most would never have thought of being in an MC if they knew him as a boy. He was skinny, asthmatic, and scared. His older brother, Cash, took him away from their mother and Remington’s dad and finished raising him. Giving him a safe place to live and grow into the man he is now. With the help and support of the Heaven Hill MC men, Remy and Cash are now living the life that they deserve and have a family that love them. Remy watched Tatum grow into the woman she is now and if he had been smart, he would have never rejected her last year when she offered herself to him. Now he has to find a way to get her back and show her that he loves her and will do whatever it takes to protect her and love her.

This story is a story of redemption, growing up, and friendship. Tatum and Remy needed that year break to grow up and realize that they were whole when they had each other in their lives. Tatum is dealing with the embarrassment of what she did after Remy rejected her and Remy is dealing with figuring out how to convince Tatum to give him a second chance. While they are finding their way back to each other, Remy also has to deal with his demons from his childhood.

I give this story a 4-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy MC, redemption stories, and stories of two people who were made for each other finding their way together. This book has a sexy cover too.

I have not read the first Heaven Hills series but have it and will be reading it as soon as I have some time. I really want to get to know the beginning characters in this series. Now onto Wild, so that I can get ready for Fury. Review coming soon.
