Charlotte has recently graduated from Law school and has been hired by the top law firm in New York. Her first day may be her last, that is until Jack Parrish shows up and she finds the confidence to stand up and offer her help, putting her boss in a situation where he has to keep her on. Charlotte’s interest in Bishop’s case may be for all the wrong reasons, but the end result could be what she’s been looking for.

I love the Satan’s Knights series and the new Prospect Trilogy is shaping up to be a great series. The characters in the Satan’s Knights series are great characters. The Satan’s Knights family will do anything for their family and if you are lucky enough to be taken in by them you will always have a family and someone to have your back all the time. They are loyal, lethal, and oh so Alpha. If you like MC stories you definitely read the Satan Knights series and the Prospect Trilogy as well. They are full of steam, suspense, and includes corrupt prison guards.

Cocoa is a senior in high school living in Los Angeles. She’s biracial and living with her mother who has been dating Matthew, from West Virginia. Cocoa’s world will be turned upside down when her mother accepts the proposal from Matthew, and they move to West Virginia before Cocoa starts her senior year of high school.

Maverick is a senior who rules the high school that Cocoa will attend for her senior year. His father is a well-respected judge in their small town. Little do the towns people know his real father. The man is pure evil and has made Maverick’s life a living hell. He doesn’t know the meaning of love or kindness. His two best friends are the only people who know what Maverick’s life has been like and the real father that has raised him.

The first few chapters were hard for me to get through. I’m not a fan of bullies but as I got through the chapters the story got better for me. I am a fan of dark romance books though and this book has that as well. Once I got into the book it was easier to read and I liked it. I found the change in Maverick to be refreshing and the fact that he got away from his hometown to find the better man that he could be was good. If you like young adult romance, bully, or dark romance, you should pick up this book. I give it a 3.5-star review.

I loved this second chance romance.

Peyton Ward was young when she first met Cade. She had a secret then that Cade kept close for her. Five years later, Cade learns of another secret and this one is huge. Will these two find a way to over come their past and move forward with the future they both deserve and want?

This story was full of danger, betrayal, suspense and the desire for a chance at real happiness. It kept me wondering, guessing, and at the edge throughout. It was perfectly paced with danger and suspense and I loved every page of this book. I give it 5-bright stars and encourage you to buy and read this book as well as the entire series. Each book just gets better.

WOW!! I loved each book in this series and they just kept getting better with each book.

Angel is a great story. I loved watching Jordan’s true self finally come to light with Gabe’s love and care for her. His guidance and bulldozing for her was great to read, sometimes it takes others to help show us our true worth in this world, and Gabriel did that for Jordan. I loved it.

Ghost was a tragically beautiful story. Dorian and Grace’s (Ray) story was full of tension, action, suspense and a beautiful story of two broken souls coming back together. These two deserve a happy ending with healing and the love of their Linear Tactical family can help them find that. Dorian has always been my favorite character in this series. His lone wolf character and attention to detail as well as his intensity drew me to him, and his story just carried that through. I still love him, and I hope he and will be in more of the series as it continues.

Shadow, wow! His story started out with a great intensity and ended with a sweet story. I loved it. Heath’s need to get answers drove him for so long. His unexpected help is what settled him. It seems that it’s always when you decide to stop looking that things become clearer and answer start coming to you from the least likely place.

I thought Ghost was my favorite because I had been waiting for Dorian’s story, but then I read Shadow and then Echo (see my review for Echo). I read all four books in a week and had such a Linear Tactical hangover I wasn’t what to read next. I pre-ordered Phoenix and Baby, but I wish I didn’t have to wait so long for them to come out. I give each of these books as well as the box set a 5-bright star review and encourage you to buy the series and read it! I hope you like it as much as I did! If there were a larger scale, I would give higher.

Carlotta Tomassi is daddy’s little princess. Massimo Tomassi rules Malborne as the Mafia Kingpin, but he doesn’t get his hands dirty, he has others do it for him. He’s ruthless and very dangerous. Carlotta is his only child and he’s very strict with her, but she sneaks out as often as possible with her best friend until the night she doesn’t find her way back home.

A dark, twisted, taboo, steamy story of two brothers who fall in love with an off-limits young woman. I love a dark twisted story and this one definitely delivered. I devoured it in one day and loved every chapter I read. I give this book a 4.5-star review and suggest you one-click it if you are a lover of dark, twisted, mafia and taboo stories.

Dominic Corsino wants to keep his family on top in New York City, but he promised his sister that he would not keep it there with their father’s methods. He needs to show the other families that the Corsino’s are still in control, even with diminished numbers. One problem that will come up is the one woman who can rule his heart is now available to him. He’s had feelings for his sister’s best friend from college, Faith. She’s getting a quick divorce and is in need of a place to stay because her ex is devious.

Dominic is not a man to mess with, he’s sexy, dangerous and lethal, but his vulnerabilities and soft side will come out with Faith. I loved so much about this book. The steamy attraction between Faith and Dominic as well as the dangerous men in this story kept me turning the pages and wanting to see what would happen. Faith is a strong woman who knows what she wants and can handle herself, but when the head of the Cartwright family sets his sights on Faith her world could come crumbling down.

L. P. Dover does an excellent job with the characters in this crossover and the story is great. I give it a 4.5-star review and encourage you to read this book as well as the stories in her Armed & Dangerous and Circle of Justice Series, especially if you like mafia and assassin stories.

I love this series and the conclusion was full of danger, twists, angst, and heartbreak. My need to know the ending of Natalia and Cristiano’s story kept me reading this book until I finished it shortly after midnight. The love between these two is beautiful, I love Cristiano’s statement to Natalia about love, “Love is, I’d die for you.”; “Not, Will you die for me?”. The love between these two is steamy, intense, and unbreakable.

I give this book a 5-star review and enthusiastically encourage you to read this series. Ms. Hawkins did a great job concluding the love story of Natalia and Cristiano de la Rosa. A tragic, beautiful ending to a twisted love story. Full of angst, enemies-to-lovers, slow-burn, coming-of-age, dark, cartel and more.

When Hunter is tasked to find the half-brother of a friend, he didn’t expect that he would find his other half. The man he’s been tasked with finding is bad news all around and he is dangerous. Hunter may not be in time to save Frankie and Leo.

Frankie is not a trusting woman and she has too much to lose if anyone finds her. She’s tough, tiny, and a momma bear who will do anything to protect her home and her family. Hunter will discover this very quickly and he won’t forget it.

I love this story and the way that Frankie protects her family is exactly how I feel about mine. I love the Guts & Glory Series and Hunter is just as great as the other two, Mercy and Ryder. These men are loyal, lethal and very sexy. I give this story a 4.5-star review and cannot wait for the next book in the series, Walker. These books are definitely one-clickable.
