Psychological thriller, police procedural, revenge, jealousy, and secrets make up this story.

Briony shows up to work on Thursday morning only to discover that she may lose her job. Her boss is a tough lady who is not happy with Briony when she shows up to work in clothes that look as if she’s been sleeping in them, and late. Briony will learn so much about her life and will find that most of her life has been a lie. Her parents have kept secrets from her and Briony’s life will be changed in so many ways when she tries to discover what happened to her.

I read this book in one day and hated for it to end. I was pulled in from the first page and the suspense and intrigue kept my attention until the final page. The details that were pulled out during the investigation of Briony’s missing days were interesting and twisted. I loved it and wanted more. I give this story a 5-star review and suggest it to readers who enjoy police procedural, psychological thrillers, and revenge stories. This story will give you all of this and so much more. It’s a tragic story of deception, jealousy, betrayal, and mind games.

Micah scooped me up in his arms, carried me to the bed and gently placed me on the mattress. I could still see the ticking in his jaw. He sat down beside me on the edge of the bed and sighed.
“First of all, do not apologize for your sass. I love it. Second, don’t ever apologize for speaking your mind or standing up for yourself or for demanding answers. Third, I hope to God that you weren’t suggesting that you have to pay me for my kindness with sexual favors. I don’t work like that. I’m not going to lie and say that I don’t like a good fuck, because I do. I am a man after all. But I have never forced a woman to do something she doesn’t want to do and I sure as shit ain’t starting now. I can tell that you haven’t had good experiences where the male species are concerned, but sweetness, I’m going to show you that not all men are snakes.” Micah breathed in deeply through his nose and then released it through his mouth.
“I’m sor—”
“If you say you’re sorry one more time, we’re going to have issues, you and me. The last thing I want to tell you before I get Doc back in here to check your wounds, is this. You are welcome here in the main house for as long as you need to be here. Shit, you’re welcome anywhere on this property. You will be protected, and no one will hurt you. The BRB will do whatever is necessary to ensure that. Now, do you think you will be okay in here for a few minutes while I get Doc? You won’t try to run again?”
All I could do was nod. He’d said a lot in the past few minutes and I tried to take it all in. He couldn’t be real. As I watched him stand up and walk to the door, a thought occurred to me.
“Wait!”

A different kind of MC story that was dark, had some twists and a great story. I loved the story, plot, and characters in this story and cannot wait for the next book to come out. This was the first in a new series about a group of retired Navy SEALs who were looking for a new mission in the civilian world. They took a needed break after leaving the SEALs and their final mission that went the wrong way, but then they all came back together and started the Broken Rebel Brotherhood, an MC that works with the law, but in their own way to help those in need. If they need protection, they have it.

Sadie is at the end of her rope with her husband, she needs to get away from him or she will not see the light of the next day. With the last of her strength, she runs to save her life. However, she may end her own life when she blacks out while driving.

Micah is damaged after his final mission while serving as a SEAL and leading his team into a situation that they are all reeling from. They all have a new mission in life and are needed in their small town. They still have their demons, but their new mission in life will help a lot of people and they are able to skirt the law to save the victims that they come across. Micah is looking for more in his life but he’s afraid that his demons from his last mission as a SEAL will prevent him from finding someone to share his life with. When he happens on the car that is in the field, and finds the redhead unconscious in the front seat, something shifts inside him.

The members of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood MC are loyal to each other, tough, and are all like family. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to the next book in the series to find out what happens next. The suspense at the end of this book left me wanting the next book right now. If you are a reader who loves MC stories, but with a twist, you will not want to pass this book up.

Holy dark, depraved, twisted, and awesome!

Drake is a twisted biker who has a blood lust and his entire focus on one woman. The VP of the Royal Bastards MC main chapter. His darkness is focused on taking down the scum in Savannah, GA.

This story was dark, twisted, depraved, and a really good read. I read it in a day. His single focus on Evie, the wife of a rival MC, is a mix between a distraction and a focus on his monster side. His childhood made him dark and depraved. Once he has Evie his plans for her change and other plans are hatched.

I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for the next book in Royal Bastards MC. If you like MC, dark romance, twisted stories, you will definitely want to one-click this book and read it. I devoured it as soon as I had it in my hands.
