ARC Review of Enigma by Laramie Briscoe @GiveMeBooksPR and @LaramieBriscoe

Enigma Full Wrap

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Tucker comes from a military family and background. He’s the K-9 trainer and officer for LSERT. A man who has a hard time showing his emotions and opening himself up to others. This becomes a problem when he turns Karsyn away and figures out that he made a mistake. Of course, it took a while for him to realize his mistake, but now he’s ready to open up to Karsyn, if she would just give him the chance.

Karsyn has her own secrets that she has not shared with Tucker and those secrets have defined who she is now. She knows that Tucker is following her home at night and sitting outside her place to make sure she is safe, but she hasn’t spoken to him in almost a year. She’s about to get the opportunity to talk to him and maybe rekindle their romance.

When these two are pushed together to work on a project for LSERT, they may get a second chance to find out if they belong together. They both have grown up in the past year and have realized that they want more in life than what they’ve both had for the past year. When your past comes back to haunt you and only one person can help you through the despair you know you’ve found your other half and life will be good.

I loved this story as much as I have loved the other books in the LSERT and MTF series. They are steamy, suspenseful, and full of Alpha men who serve and protect the women that complete them. The women are strong, independent, and sassy and they keep their men on their toes all the time. They aren’t afraid to tell their men when they need them to step up and take care of them and their families, but for the most part, they take care of their men. I give this story a 4.5-star review and whole heartedly recommend this book as well as the others in Laramie’s LSERT and MTF series.
