A story of betrayal, revenge, and second chances.

Clara and Zac are ready to take the next steps in their lives and move from their small town in Wyoming to New Orleans to go to college, but Clara goes on a last trip with her best friend to Paris before they make the move. While in Paris, Clare receives a phone call and a photo that will destroy everything she had planned.

I really liked this story. It was quite different from the other stories I’ve read of L.P. Dover’s. I’ve read her Circle of Justice and Circle of Justice/Armed and Dangerous Crossover stories. This story is about young love that is destroyed by people that think they know what’s best for someone. It takes twelve years for the truth to be uncovered, and Clara and Zac to find their way back to each other, but the time away from each other made them both stronger. These two have so much anger towards each other and when they are forced to spend a week together because of charity, their anger comes out in trying to anger the other one and see who will give in first. There are some funny situations in this story, some sad, and some betrayal, but overall the story is great. I give it a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who are looking for a great read.

Whew! Derek is one hot Alpha Male but with such a sweet side.

Derek has been watching Brittany for a year now and he’s finally ready to make his move. They’ve been dancing around each other long enough and it’s time that she realizes that she is his and he is not letting her go.

Brittany came to The Grim Sinners as a young teen when she moved in with her Aunt Darla and her Uncle Brooks. She was so isolated while growing up because her parents didn’t want anyone to know that they had gone down the wrong path. They weren’t caring for her or protecting her, and things finally came to a head one day, it just so happened to be the day that Darla decided she needed to find out why she could no longer see or reach her niece. It started out as a bad day for Brittany but ended up being the best one she could have asked for.

I really liked this story and the characters. I cried, laughed and sat on the edge of my seat reading this book. There was danger, action, sexy scenes and funny times. I loved the way that the characters were lethal when they needed to be, but they were also loyal to each other, loving, and dedicated to each other. I give this story a 4.5-star review. If you like tough bikers who show their soft side to very few, women who are just as dangerous as their men, and need that little bit of pull on your heartstrings, you will love this story. These women are just as mean and lethal as their men and they don’t take anything form anyone.

Aiken “Skull” Cross was the leader of the Sons of Sinister, he is a drug dealer, motorcycle racers, dark, and a man with a dream. He rules The Strip where all the kids gather on the weekend to watch the bike races. The winner wins cash and then they do tricks on their bikes for the crowd. Aiken had a lousy childhood and lived on the streets as a young teen. He lives on the wrong side of Atlanta, where it wasn’t safe to be walking the streets alone.

Everly Hart was a young girl afraid of life. She had anxiety attacks and just wanted stay in the back and out of everyone’s sights. Her life took a nosedive her senior year of high school when she had to move with her mother and twin brother from Seattle, Washington to Atlanta, Georgia to start her life over. After losing her father her mother thought it would be best to move back the family home in Atlanta where her mother grew up. Everly just wanted to feel the love that she felt from her father, but everything changed when they moved and her life changed, not only did her anxiety get worse, she had to fight a different battle and her family fell apart.

I really liked this story. It hits on so many issues that really drew me in and kept me prisoner through the whole story. Skull is such a confident, strong man in this story, but his real vulnerabilities come out when he sees Everly and can’t seem to get her out of his head. He believes he is no good for her, but these two really complement each other and complete each other. There are some raw parts to this story, and they are handled very well and written very well. This was my first read of Tabatha Vargo, but I really liked this book and can’t wait to read more about the Sons of Sinister. I give this a 4.5-star review. I recommend it to readers who enjoy MC, NA, or stories that will show you not to judge a book by its cover. Just because someone acts tough, dangerous, or like they’re an outcast, there is always something more to see and learn. We need to learn to look so much deeper than just the outside of someone to really see them.
