My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

I loved Yak in the Mountain River MC books and I was very happy to get his story. I wish there had been a bit more.

Yak has moved his life to help his brother with the thoughts that it is temporary, however, life has other plans for him. After meeting Julie, and trying as hard as he can to stay away from her, he gives in and his life takes another turn.

Julie has always felt safe in her life and has always had a protector in her father. However, one night changes her life and her protector.

Yak and Julie are great together and I am hoping that we get more of Yak’s life in his brother’s story coming up next. I loved their Bonus Epilogue too!

I love the characters already in the KoAMC, Oakheart, Ontario Chapter and I can’t wait to read more of their HEA’s or HFN’s.
