Andrew โBookerโ Thomson has always done what was required of him. His time in the Army taught him the value of following orders and brotherhood. The Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC has offered him a home, but something is missingโif only he knew what. When his MC President offers him nomad status and asks him to check on one of their Originals, whom they havenโt had contact with in a couple of weeks, Booker jumps at the chance. His appearance as a cover model at the Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem book signing will allow him to do both.
Alexandra Sullivan has made a life for herself working with romance authors. Spending the majority of the year on the road in her RV, she loves the nomadic lifestyle. Sheโs always wanted her own happily ever after, but none of the men sheโs met live up to her romance novel heroes or her high school boyfriend. When sheโs face-to-face with the boy she had to leave before their junior prom, she wonders if this might be her second chance.
Before Booker can sweep Alexandra off her feet, he and his fellow nomads will need to help her confront the danger wreaking havoc in her and her momโs life. Lexi and Booker will need a little assistance from the men and women of Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC and Saintโs Outlaws MC if they want to ride off into their own happily ever after.
Booker is a second chance, later in life, cinnamon roll hero, MC romance where family is found and dreams really do come true.

Andrew โBookerโ Thomson thought through all the ways this weekend could go wrong. When War, the president of Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC, had asked Booker if he and his friend could check on one of the MCโs nomads, it had been the perfect excuse for what he needed to do this weekend. War had also offered for Booker and his friend Twist to officially become a part of Bluff Creek as nomads.
Booker had jumped at the chance because he loved Bluff Creekโs original Chapter in Kansas and their other Chapter in Cider Creek, Texas, but there was still something missing. He adored the brotherhood heโd found and the family aspect, but he wasnโt settled. It felt like his life wasnโt complete, but he didnโt believe heโd find what was missing in Bluff Creek. Becoming a nomad would allow him to search for that missing part of him while still having the brotherhood heโd missed after he got out of the Army.
For now, he and Twist would check on Compass. Twist was his best friend, and he couldnโt imagine going nomad without him. Theyโd served together, which is where Twist had gotten his name. Twist was short for Twister because he was amazing at predicting the weather. Twist loved storm chasing, so going nomad with Booker fit perfectly.
Since Booker booked them into the same hotel where he had the event at, he should be able to sneak away. In a perfect world. He and Twist were checking in late on Friday night. Booker was hoping their check-in was late enough that heโd miss anyone recognizing him in the hallways.
Booker didnโt know why he was hiding it from his club brothers. They readily accepted that he loved reading all novels but especially romance. It was just opening himself up and sharing that he also posed for photos that were used on romance book covers that he hadnโt been able to do yet.
He hadnโt even considered it until heโd contacted an author he liked about loving her books. Then he joined her ARC team, and sheโd seen his picture. Sheโd begged him to model for her. And the rest was history. Once her friends had seen him on her covers, heโd had numerous people wanting photos. Heโd traveled to a couple different photographers to have photos done. Now, he had extra income from the photo sales.
He did wish that Dex was with him and Twist. Theyโd served together before all retiring at the same time. Dex had fallen in love with Bluff Creek in Kansas and was helping with their gun range. It suited Dex, but Booker had felt strange when he and Twist rode away without their friend. Logically, he knew they all wouldnโt be together forever, but it had felt strange. Theyโd been their version of the three musketeers, but things changed. Twist motioned to Booker to pull over for gas. Booker guessed they were still about twenty minutes from the hotel.
He pulled in and filled up while Twist did the same at another pump.
โYo, Iโm beat. What do you say to us getting takeout then just heading to our rooms? I donโt think Iโm up for partying tonight,โ Twist said.
โIโm game. I want to wash the road dust off and sleep after filling my stomach. Iโve got that thing tomorrow until we meet Compass for supper. What are your plans?โ Booker asked.
โWeโre not that far from our Cider Creek Chapter. Since youโre busy, I thought Iโd drive out there. Brew offered to give me a tour of their brewery.โ

I enjoyed this second chance story of high school love that was lost and then found by chance again.
Booker and Alexandra have a chance meeting at the MMM 2025 and when they first run into each other, they don’t realize who each is. It takes a second meeting and a search of the MMM author tables to find Alexandra again and then things click. Neither wants to give up the chance to get to know each other again and they take whatever time they can to do that. When Booker finds out that Alexandra and her mom need some help with a situation, he and his brothers along with another MC are ready to step in and do what they can to help. He’s not willing to let her get away or for anything to happen to her.
I liked that Nat Logan was able to bring the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC and the Saint’s Outlaws together in this story. I’m looking forward to reading more of the Saint’s Outlaws MC by Nat Logan and hopefully more of the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC.
