Meet Misty Walker

Misty Walker has been writing stories, articles, and poems since junior high. Preferring to stay behind the scenes until now, she has been an avid romance reader, a blogger, and an audiobook proofer for the last fifteen years. Growing up in a nomadic household, Misty has lived all up and down the western USA, but recently settled in Reno, Nevada. Misty is a mom to two kids who are slowly trying to kill her, but they are cute, so she will keep them. Talynn’s been in love with Colton since she was a young girl, but a tragedy struck and now he’s her enemy. After Colton returns from twenty years in prison, Talynn has to find a way to let him live his life, like her father tells her to, but her mind won’t let her. She lost too much that fateful day and Colton has to pay his debt to her now.

When Talynn need help with a situation though, she turns to Colton, now known as Crow for that help. Will it lead to more for the two of them, or will she continue to hate him for the rest of their lives?

This was a great story of love, loss, second chances, and secrets coming to light. Talynn has a lot of anger, hurt, and betrayal to over come before she can let Colton “Crow” live his life, but Crow also has a lot to overcome and being a felon and returning to the only home he’s ever known isn’t easy. Everyone still looks down on him and he can’t seem to get out from under something that happened 20 years ago. I loved the characters and the story. It is tragic, haunting, sad, and steamy. I’d like to read more of the Diamond Kings MC and get to know more of the characters from this story. I give this book a 4-star review, and look forward to more books by Misty Walker.
