⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5
She is defiant because her father is too overprotective. She just wants to be treated as a family member and not kept in the dark about everything that happens. Her brothers are part of the family business, but she’s sheltered by all of them as well as her father. When she gets involved with a man that her father and brothers deem to be bad news and won’t listen to her family about staying away from Donato, Arianna Marino is given a choice. She can marry a man that is much older and has kids close to her age, or she can marry an Irishman. Either way, she will be taken away from all that she knows.
Killian O’Malley is indebted to Tully O’Connor after a he helps the O’Malley’s out of a bad situation. Killian is ready to fulfill his debt, but when he finds out that it will be more along the lines of a lifetime of fulfillment, his whole world seems to implode.
I loved this story. Killian is not prepared at all to fulfill his debt to Tully, but he’s made his promise and expects Tully to hold up his end. Killian and Arianna are actually a great match, but they need to find their way to coexist and live together. The O’Malley’s have more problems than just the union of the Irish and the Italian family from New York. I love the Ivanov and O’Malley families. I love the Mafia War series and I am really excited for the next book, Declan’s story. I give this book a 5-star review.
