Review of Ruthless Stranger (Mafia Wars, Book 1) by Maggie Cole @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?

Aspen Albright is a woman in need of an adventure and her three best friends make sure she gets it. The only problem is that Aspen is new to this whole thing and when her weekend in Vegas is over, she has a hard time going back to the way her life was before her trip. Little does she know that the stranger she met in Vegas is actually from Chicago as well.

Maksim Ivanov is in Vegas with his brothers and close friends to celebrate the final days of his brother’s single life. They’re there for a bachelor weekend and he is trying to get over the woman he has been seeing off and on for the past eleven years because she’s too commitment shy to finally take their relationship farther. He’s done being the only one to care in the relationship. When he hears some women near the pool at the hotel talking about one of them having a controlled meet up, he becomes intrigued, and his mind starts working. He can’t leave the pool area without looking back to see the woman with the voice that drew his interest.

I loved this story. It’s full of danger, adventure, action and some very sexy, Alpha men. I loved the women in this story as well. They are strong, sassy, sexy and crazy. Their night out causes so much trouble though. The heat between Maksim and Aspen is off the charts. This story is tragic, but also amusing with Aspen and her best friends’ antics. As with all of the books I’ve read by Maggie Cole, this one left me wanting so much more. I give this story a 5-star review and am anxious to read Broken Fighter. If you are a reader that enjoys stories of sexy, dangerous men (Mr. Stranger Danger or Mr. O. O. O.), mafia men, Alpha males that protect their women, and treat them as if they are most precious thing in the world, then you will love Ruthless Stranger.
