ARC Review of Brutal Prince: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Brutal Birthright, #1), by Sophie Lark @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Aida Gallo is the only daughter of the Gallo mafia family. She has three older brothers that treat her as if she is one the boys. When the Griffin’s have a birthday party for the youngest daughter and go all out, the Gallo siblings decide they need to crash the party. Without telling their father, they crash the birthday party and it is a complete game changer for both the Griffin’s and the Gallo’s. They been against each other for years, but mistake changes that.

Callum Griffin is running for Alderman of the 43rd Ward. With his family’s power and notoriety, he has a good chance of winning. The information he has on some of the other candidates could give him the seat. His little sister’s birthday party is more for him to talk to the powers that be to gain support for his win. When an accidental situation happens Callum finds a new form of support, but he’s not happy about it.

I loved Sophie Lark’s Colors of Crime books, and this new series is just as good. Her story telling of mafia families is entertaining, brutal, and never disappoints. Brutal Prince gained my interest a little further in, but it was not disappointment at all. I love Aida’s strong will and her loyalty to her family. She may be a mafia princess, but is strong, loyal, and sassy. These two have no idea they were actually meant to be together and as the story progresses the heat does too. I look forward to more of the Gallo and Griffin families in the future. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy mafia, Alpha males, strong, sassy women, and the drama between two powerful families that have to find a way to keep the blood shed to a minimum. I love Sophie Lark’s books, and I look forward to more of this new series.
