Review of High Point by Simone Scarlet

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 3.5 out of 5

Another Knucklehead that has retired and moved away from all things Knucklehead has been found and is being hunted by Falcondale, a black ops group. This time there is no warning or contact before the gun fire started. Their divorce is interrupted by the gunfire that has erupted on the little house sitting on the beach.

Max and Tina have only been married for a year, but it’s been a year too long in Tina’s eyes. She doesn’t believe anything Max says and she has no idea who he really is. They had a whirlwind romance and married shortly after they met, now its crumbling around them, just like the little house that Tina was supposed to get in the divorce settlement.

I liked the story, and I like Max, but I hate Tina. She’s a witch to Max and is too busy causing drama to realize that what she’s had for the past year has been better than what she had before meeting Max. I give this book a 3.5-star review. I enjoyed the story and plot, as well as the action in the story, but I had some issues with the book, so I can’t give it a higher rating.
