Review of Written in Blood, by Stephen Puleston @books_n_all #Policeprocedural

DC Ian Drake is man who when working on a case will look at all angles to figure out who the murderer is. He has some odd habits, but they help him work things out in his head and keep things straight for him.

Drake’s team is called in when a well known barrister, Nicholas Wixley, is killed and the crime scene resembles a crime scene of a case that the he tried years prior. There are a lot of details to this case and Drake and his team will work hard to make sure that they have the correct person behind bars for the crime. The people involved in this case are all well known public figures and Drake and his team must tread carefully when questioning the suspects.

I liked this book and Drake’s team, they may seem like a misfit bunch, but they work well together and they work hard to find the killer. There is more than one murder and all of the victims are connected. If you are a fan of police procedural and suspense, I would highly recommend this book. The characters are likable and well written. I give this book a 4 star review. This was the first book in the DC Drake series, but it worked well as a stand alone story.
