Title: Mr. Wicked
Author: Maya Hughes
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 8, 2018

She’s hated me since high school…
Francesca “Frankie” Archer is the smart mouthed rich girl who worked her way into my heart back in high school. Our one date turned into a nightmare and we’ve been at each other’s throat since. Now, she’s a sex club owning hottie who still looks better in shorts and a tshirt than any woman should.
We need to be civil to each other as co-best men standing up for our best friend at his wedding. How hard can that be? But old feelings, a few cocktails and shared hotel suite later and I’m touching her in ways no other man has.
In the light of day, she’s ready to chalk it up to a drunken one night stand, but I’m not ready to end things just as they are beginning again. Maybe I can convince her, if I can show her everything I’ve learned since we’ve been apart. I know she’ll look amazing with the soft ropes crisscrossed across her body.
Mr. Wicked is a 55,000 word second chance, accidental pregnancy romance. It features a sassy sex club owner, sweet and sexy bondage enthusiast and a heaping
helping of steamy nights.

Author Bio
Maya Hughes has always loved romance novels. One look at her Kindle is confirmation. She started writing her first romance novel while pregnant with her third child and she hasn’t looked back. Now, her romance writing addiction has replaced her romance reading addiction.

You can find her writing on her foldable keyboard and phone anytime inspiration strikes. Her sweet and steamy stories range from rockstars to small towns and everything in between. When she’s not writing, she’s playing with her three kids, running errands or vegging on the couch with the love of her life and biggest fan, her husband.

Wow, quite the story. Talk about angst. I was so angry with Frankie and John in the beginning of this story. A great second chance story, but wow, why did they have to go through so much to get there?

Francesca, Frankie, is a young girl who has been bullied by the popular girls at school since grade school. She decided that she would never be good enough for them, so she started being who she wanted to be. A nerd. She is into video games, and anime. She comes from a wealthy family, but that doesn’t change who she is. She is a down to earth regular girl who hangs out with Killian Thorne, a scholarship boy at her school and his friend John Grimsby.

John Grimsby, a boy who comes from a different world that Frankie, but he can’t help that he has feelings for her and wants to go out with her. He is a star on the football team at the swanky school they attend and the only reason he is there is due to a scholarship. His mom left him and his dad years ago and his dad is pretty much just a drunk.

John finally gets the nerve up to ask Frankie to the Ancients dance and she agrees. She’s not a dressy kind of girl, but when John goes to pick her up for the dance he can’t help but be thrilled that she is his date, she looks beautiful. Frankie is happy that John asked her out, but she is also a little worried. This is kind of like what happened to her in grade school when she decided to only keep her own company. The mean girls and boys of their school strike again and there is a huge misunderstanding between John and Frankie and they go ten years with bickering and trying to avoid each other. That is until their best friend Killian is getting married and they are the best-man and best- woman standing up for him.

This was a great story and I really enjoyed it. However, like I said I did get very angry with John and Frankie after their misunderstanding. They are both so stubborn, but it all worked out wonderfully in the end. I just purchased Mr. Ruin so that I can read Killian’s story as well. I give this story a 4.5 star review and look forward to more stories in the near future with this group that went to school together.
