Lulah is alone in the world. She was raised by her grandmother after being abandoned by her father and her mother. Now her grandmother is gone and she’s alone. She needed to find a way to make money to live and was lucky enough to find a way to live as well as have a little extra money for savings. Something she hasn’t had in the past. Being a social media influencer has gained her notoriety. She doesn’t date because she has trust issues, so when a “friend” sets her up on a blind date, she believes that said friend knows her and has found the perfect guy for her, until the second date and Lulah starts to see the real man. Now she needs someone to help her because the police aren’t any help at all

I loved this fourth book in Lone Star Rangers Series, and I loved the characters. I will say that I had a hard time accepting Bobbie at first. I had some questions about her, but she grew on me. I loved the slow development of the relationship between Austin and Lulah and that they had some time to get to know each other even if they were pushed to be in the same space right away. I give the book a 4-star review and I look forward to Ranger’s story next.

Cain is a man that needs control and has his own room designed just for his use at the strip club the MC runs. When Cain spots Sophia dancing, he’s automatically drawn to her beauty. He tries to keep his distance because he’s not interested in a relationship, but she is just as drawn to him and can’t stay away from him, so she tempts him every chance she gets.

Sophia is not working at the club of her own free will. She’s married to a rival of the Hellbound Lovers MC and has been sent to the club to find an in so that she can report back to her husband on their dealings and vulnerabilities, but what she wasn’t expecting was Cain and her attraction and unavoidable draw to him.

I enjoyed this story and found it to be action packed. The story has secrets, betrayal, dangerous consequences, and characters that drew me in from the beginning. However, I found the situation between Cain and Sophia to be unexpected when her truths came out. With an MC it didn’t seem that they would accept letting her live, even though Cain found that he couldn’t just forget her. She had gotten under his skin and vice versa. I liked the story and the characters and while I have read Crimson Syn’s work previously, this was my first book in the Hellbound Lovers MC series. I think I’ll have to go back and read some more of them. I give this book a 4-star review.

He thought he had a lot to prove to his family and his club. Being the youngest son of the president of the Houston Defiance MC, Koda felt that he had a lot to prove to the club and his sister and brother after their parents were brutally taken from them. So, he agrees to go to college to get life experience and in Prinie’s eyes, get away from the club. She wanted him away from the danger and the club to grow and be the man she knew he could be, but the club was in his blood, and he could never turn his back on his family. When he got to Stonewall College, he found secrets, lies, and deception.

Thayleah has lived her own tragic life and now that she’s found a family in an MC club that saved her and has been protecting her, she’s beginning to find her way to her future. The club sends her to college, but Thayleah isn’t quite sure she’s ready to be on her own yet. What she finds at Stonewall College could be just as tragic for her, but meeting Koda helps her cope with her past.

I love this series and have been waiting for Koda’s story. However, I am very anxious for Survive now as Secretive ends on a cliff-hanger. Great story, characters, and series. Koda feels as though he has a lot to prove to remain in the Houston Defiance, or to prospect for them, but he’s as committed, loyal, and determined as his club brothers and his brother that leads the Houston Defiance. He didn’t want to leave the club, but he did to make his sister and brother feel better. Now he’s back and ready to show them that he belongs with them and to stand beside them in the club. I’ve loved every book I’ve read in this series. I love K. E. Osborn’s books and Secretive did not disappoint. I give this book a 5-star review and anxiously await Survive to come out soon.

Roscoe loved his Rock Star life just the way it was. He loved not being tied to one woman and the variety that he was able to have with women and one-night stands. He was the last of his band mates standing and he was determined to stay that way.

Sienna was Roscoe’s little sister, Addison’s, best friend. They have been best friends since childhood, and she has had a crush on Roscoe for a long time. Sienna has avoided Roscoe for about fifteen years and now she was going to have to see again and be close since they were at Addison’s wedding. How could she avoid him now?

I loved this story and the characters. Sienna is a strong, independent woman. She can take care of herself and has a great relationship with her parents but doesn’t want to burden them with her problems. When Sienna and Roscoe spend a night together their lives will change forever, and their worlds are turned upside down. Now they have to figure out how to go forward and both be happy. When Sienna has an accident and needs someone to help her out, Roscoe is there. However, they have a lot to work out between them after Roscoe’s reaction to Sienna when he returned from his tour with his band. I loved this series and the characters in it. A. K. Evans writes great stories and characters. I give this book a 5-star review and am excited for her Harper Security Ops Series to come soon.

Being the oldest of the Garo family, Edon has taken over the running of the businesses since his father has retired. Edon is happy with being the head of the family and has no intentions of marrying yet. However, his father has other ideas. With one brother in a polyamorous relationship the oldest Tirana brother, and the Tirana Syndicate keeping them down in America with their holdings, Edon has enough to worry about and adding finding a wife is not a top priority.

Adriel Tirana wants nothing to do with marrying into the Syndicate and especially not to a Garo. However, the agreement between her father and Edon’s father years ago has put her on that track. She didn’t want anything to do with being married to any Syndicate man, but the pressure from her father and mother along with the pressure from Edon’s father leaves her no choice.

I liked Edon and Adriel’s story. The meddlesome fathers and the history of Syndicate betrothals put Edon and Adriel at odds, but when they decide that they need to work together to overcome the situation, they find that there is an attraction. The Garo and Tirana family go back a way and these two will have to find a way to appease their families and still be independent. I give this book a 4-star review and look forward to the next books in the trilogy.
