⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 If I could give more stars I would!

WOW! I had a feeling that Tongue’s story would be dark and twisted, but I had no idea how dark and twisted it would be. It’s dark, gritty and twisted and it blew my mind.

The side of Tongue that is introduced to us through the other books is mild compared to this story. He’s dark, twisted, damaged and sexy. He’s obsessed with a woman that he’s only seen through a window and up close for a short time.

Daphne has a dark side too, but it’s not as obvious on her. She has a darkness in her that is waiting to come out and play and Tongue will coax it out of her. When Daphne finds herself the center of a madman’s plan, Tongue becomes her safe haven. She’s a book nerd, sunny and damaged in her own way. I would love more of her story especially after the visions she had of her mother.

I have loved Tongue from the beginning of this series, he has a gently temperament when it comes to the women around him, but he has a switch that once it has been flipped, he is a completely different man. He’s a deadly machine and is the Enforcer for the Ruthless Kings for a reason. He is unstoppable when he is angered. This story broke my heart as I read it. Tongue’s life has not been easy and now it has been turned upside down by a beautiful woman and the family that he thought knew him, but they are questioning him, and his trust is waning for his brothers. When he feels like his world is collapsing around him it gets worse when he has a flashback, and all heck breaks loose. I loved Tongue’s story and cannot wait to read more of the Ruthless Kings, because I know they have more stories to tell and I can’t help but think that Tongue’s and Daphne’s story is has not been completed. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more, hopefully soon.

Riona Griffin is tough as nails. She’s the second child of the Griffin family and has always felt that she had to find her own path in life. Her brother Callum is the next in line to take over the family. She’s a lawyer and works for the family in the law firm with her Uncle Oran. She’s always felt a connection to her Uncle and has had her sights set on being partner in the law firm. Now that there is a spot, she is working even harder to show that she deserves the partnership. She’s a no non-sense woman that is happiest when she is alone. She doesn’t know how to let her hair down and live, she’s always working and making sure that her families secrets remain hidden.

Raylan is on his way back from a mission for his team the Black Knights, where he was out of country and made a rescue besides completing his mission, when his phone rings and his buddy Dante Gallo is calling him. He is needed in Chicago to shadow Riona and protect her. He finds this mission much more enjoyable and challenging.

This story was so good. Riona has met her match and she also discover that if she can just relax a bit her life is so much fuller than she ever even realized. She is so determined in her thoughts and beliefs that she doesn’t realize that her life is better when she relaxes. Raylan is just the man for Riona, he’s determined and very interested. He’s not called Long Shot for nothing. He’s patient and he finds himself in situations that are not always easy. These two burn up the pages once Raylan takes Riona firmly in hand and shows her how life could be. Raylan’s family has their own secrets, and he knows that Riona will keep them hidden because he knows her family. I hate to put these books down once I start them. I give this book a 5-star review and hope for more from Ms. Lark soon.

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Lola is the daughter of the RBMC – Durango, CO chapter and is trouble with a capital T. She’s angry, lost and looking for attention in all the wrong ways. She doesn’t care if she gets a prospect in trouble, they should be strong enough to tell her no, they should know not to touch the Club Princess.

Memphis is a Nomad in the RBMC. He grew up in the foster system and after he and his twin sister were separated and put in different homes, he searched for her when he got out of the system and they have a relationship again. His sister has a husband and a baby and is happy. Memphis is happy in his freedom and ability to move around at will. One favor for a president changes his life.

Lola and Memphis are brought together when Lola ends up in New Orleans and Memphis is tasked with finding her and taking her home. She’s an adult, but her father is very protective and worries about her. Lola causes more trouble than not when they first meet, but once she realizes that Memphis will protect her reason for leaving, she settles into being his task to take home and things get pretty heated between the two. I loved this story and had a hard time putting the book down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. The danger, suspense and action of the story kept the pages turning quickly. I hated putting it down to go to bed, at 2:00 am. I have not been disappointed by of the RBMC books, they are all page turners and have sexy, protective bikers and strong, sexy women that make these bikers heal very quickly. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the RBMC books and particularly Ms. James’ Climbing the Ranks: RBMC, Durango, CO Book 2. This was my first book by Nicole James, but I will be reading more of her stories.

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Rocco Spinelli just wants one day to make his mom proud, her birthday, even if she is not around to celebrate it or for her to tell Rocco she loves him. The trouble is that his Uncle has given him an order and he has to follow the orders or reap the consequences of his actions. He’s the screw up nephew of Victor Pastore and he needs to prove his position in the family if he wants to be a made man. Sitting in the strip joint drinking and waiting to meet with Mitch to fulfill his Uncle’s orders, his attention is grabbed by the stripper on the stage. When he finally sees her face and her eyes connect with his, she runs from the stage and he is hot on her trail. When he catches up to her, she can’t face him or answer his question as to why she’s there, but she finds the resolve to snap back at him and ask him why he’s there.

Rocco needs to step up to the plate and finally take the direction his Uncle has been hoping he’d take and find his way in the organization. Now that his Uncle has given him what he’s been wanting, he will have to figure out how he can live up to the expectations of his Uncle and the family. Can he do that? Will Violet Cabrera be the woman to help him settle down and focus on what needs to be done for the family as well as for Rocco to lead the family and keep the other families from taking the power?

I have read most Ms. Bosco’s books and have always enjoyed her characters and her stories. Straightened Out was no different. It’s full of action, danger, powerful men and distracting women. I love her Satan’s Knights series and characters and loved that they were a part of this story. Parrish is always fun to read and the power struggle with Rocco and Parrish entertained me. Parrish is always a loose cannon and Rocco has no idea about the man other than what he’s seen so far. He’s in for a quite a ride with the Satan’s Knights. Rocco’s struggle to become the man he needs to be to run the Pastore family puts a bullseye on his back as well as Violet’s back as she is put in the news constantly and connected to him. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of Ms. Bosco’s books.

He was raised in the spotlight with his parents being musicians and now he and his brother are in a rock band and are making a name for themselves as well. One chance meeting at a concert in Vegas, to see his mom on stage at her residency in Vegas, changes everything he about his life. Everette James (EJ) Thompson is the oldest son of Reaper and Harmony, America’s sweetheart couple and the parents that showed EJ a true love.

Brianna Jenkins is America’s sweetheart in her own right. A Pop Singer touring and making hits on her own. Her manager and best friend surprises her with tickets to idol’s performance in Vegas for Brianna’s birthday and while she’s there she meets Harmony’s son and husband. That chance meeting changes her life as well.

I really enjoyed this story and though I’ve not read Reaper and Harmony’s story, yet I loved EJ and RJ and the family dynamics this family has. These two are very close and respect each other, they may joke around and fight, but they are brothers and have each other’s backs no matter what. These two will have their own demons to battle, but the one night in Vegas that EJ and Brianna spent was a wild night that led to a lot of changes in their lives. Now they have to make the best of their lives since their record label, that they share, wants them to continue as is, until they get too big for the company to handle. Then they have a bigger fight on their hands and there’s no telling how it will end. I loved the story and the characters in this book, and I give it a 5-star review. If you like stories with sexy rockers, strong pop stars, and an unconventional love story, you’ll love Power Couple. Besides, I haven’t read a book yet by Laramie Briscoe that I could put down easily, or that left me wanting more to read of her characters.

She feels lost, broken and alone but the three men that stand by her will get her through her loss and protect her and care for her. Charlotte had adjusted to her life with Teddy, but when the rug is pulled out from under her and she has to go into hiding, there is another man that she wants by her side. The problem is that Charlie shouldn’t want another man right now.

He has loved her and cared about her for a while now, but they’ve both fought the attraction and the feelings. Now that Charlie is a free woman, perhaps they can have a life together. The problem is they have to make sure that all of the threats against Charlie are neutralized and that she will be safe.

This was a quick paced story of a mafia queen and her loyal soldiers, but one of the soldiers is in love with the queen and he has to convince her that it’s okay to love again and move on in life. There are a lot of circumstances in their way, but they’ll fight side by side and find their happy place. I enjoyed the story and the characters in this story. Charlie is tough, scared, confused and determined. She’ll find peace and comfort, but it will take getting her hands dirty to do it. Lucas is a man that is determined to get what he wants and will fight for Charlie’s love and acceptance. I give this story a 4-star review and look forward to more of The Hale Mafia story.

He’s a retired Navy SEAL that has been hurt in marriage and carries the wounds from war and marriage to keep him away from any relationship that could complete him. Mason “Monet” McCarthy fights the attraction and desires he has for the cute little brainiac that works with Deep Six Salvage translating and helping them find the wreckage of the Santa Cristina on a small island near Key West, FL. He’s loyal to his brothers in the Salvage business and a man that loves his English Bulldog, Meat and takes care of him as if he is his child.

She’s smart, beautiful, full of life, and talks non-stop. She has no filter and whatever she is thinking comes out of her mouth. She has great parents, but they’ve always treated her as though she has always been an adult and have been more focused their academic careers. Alexandra “Alex” Merriweather is attracted to Mason and has even offered her body to him, but he has not taken her up on her offer. She wishes that her heart wanted someone else, someone that returned the attraction she has for Mason, but it seems that she is out of luck. It also seems that her luck otherwise in her life is not so great either. She finds herself in life and death situations more than she should, but Mason seems to be there to protect her and save her each time.

I really enjoyed this story and the comradery between the men of Deep Six Salvage is fun to read. They are rude, crude, and loyal to each other to a fault. Their loyalty and brotherly love followed them into civilian life, but they all carry scars. If you like a story of adventure, action, loyal, and dangerous characters, with women that are strong, resilient, and sassy, you will enjoy Ride The Tide. I give this story a 5-star review and want a book for Wolf and Chrissy. I hope all of these characters get a story because they are fun and entertaining to read.

She has a huge secret that could destroy the Untamed Sons or her, either way, Lucy can’t let her secret out because she’s kept it for too long now and if Nox and Ravage find out her secret they could use her or destroy her. It doesn’t matter if she kept Sasha and Lily-May safe or that she is Sasha’s best friend. Sasha doesn’t even know the real Lucy.

Nox has been attracted to Lucy since the first time he saw her in the hospital, and she stood up to him to defend and protect Sasha and Lily-May. She’s beautiful and loyal. When she shows up in the compound bloody and frightened, all of his protective instincts come out and he finds himself making statements that could change his life forever, especially when he learns Lucy’s secret.

This story is full of action from the first page right on through the story. The action, suspense and characters drew me in and held me hostage until the end of the story. It’s easy to get lost in Lucy and Nox’s story and hope for a HEA for these two, as well as the entire Untamed Sons MC. I love the story, characters, and suspense of this book and look forward to more of the Untamed Sons MC to come. The MC brothers are dangerous, loyal, and always have each other’s backs. I give this story a 5-star review and hope for more to come soon,

A group of childhood friends that came back together as adults and created an MC with the name of their childhood group, Sentinels of Babylon. A retired police officer, a former high security prison guard, a former sniper and a former CIA agent. All burned out from their jobs or fighting demons of their own coming together to form a family and finding their own peace. Evan “Evil” Villiers retired from the police force and searched out his childhood friends, the Sentinels of Babylon name they called themselves in childhood is now the name of their MC. They have a bar that is patronized by police officers on the ground floor and then their MC meets in the top floor where they have a meeting room for officers only to discuss the jobs they do.

She is a public defender that is not well liked by the police officers, mostly because she’s good at her job, but also because she defends some criminals that would be better off behind bars. Lucy Simmons has her reasons for becoming a public defender and she won’t apologize for doing her job. She’s strait laced and follows the laws to a T, some of that is to keep from being targeted by the police that have problem with her doing her job. She also can’t seem to get Evan Villiers out of her mind. She has always found him attractive, but she doesn’t date police officers, good thing he retired.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a change from a lot of MC’s that I read. It has great characters, a good story line and keeps you wondering if Lucy and Evil will be able to find a way to work out their differences and have a relationship that they can both accept. Evil is fighting with some things on his own and Lucy finds herself in a situation that will put a huge roadblock between them, but things could work out in the end, if you believe in fate. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to Sentinel’s Kiss in the near future. If you are a reader of MC’s but are looking for a different twist, you’ll enjoy Necessary Evil.

He’s lived his life believing one thing and discovers his whole life was a lie and that his father never claimed his as his son. It doesn’t matter now though because in order to take over the head of the family when his grandfather retires, he has to take a wife. He has no desire to marry or have a family, but it is the only way to prove that he is fit for the job as the head of the family, so he agrees. He also made a mistake and has a price on his head so he is exiled to Italy by his grandfather until things can be taken care of. Corrado Capitani has a score to settle and he won’t back down from it, nor will he change his mind about seeking the head of the man that killed his father.

She wanted nothing to do with Junior Napoli, but he threatened her and her family with his connections to the Capitani family and forced her to marry him. He paid for the way he treated Alcina Parisi when she took her revenge on his abuse and fled. Now she has a price on her head and has to hide away to stay alive and away from Silvio and his son, Silvio “Junior”. She has been promised to another man for protection for her and her family. However, when she lays eyes on Corrado her heart and her head war with each other.

I loved Mercenary’s story. Corrado is as dangerous and deadly as Cash and Machiavellian. He is also a stubborn man. Once he sets his mind on something there is no going back for him. The problem is that his stubbornness could get him killed or make him lose his family. There are a lot of secrets that come to light in this story, the same as the other Gangsters of New York stories, but it seemed as though the secrets in this story could be so much more damaging and have worse outcomes if people did not communicate or think things through. I love the characters in these stories, and I hope that Nunzio and Brooklyn have more of a story and Adriano needs a story. I loved the way that this story ended and that Mac and Corrado were able to form a cease fire between each other. I give this story and 5-star review and will be on the lookout for more books by Bella Di Corte. She definitely knows how to write a mafia story with angst, danger, action, suspense and deep love.
