Review of Llir: Tirana Brothers Trilogy (Social Rejects Syndicate) by K. L. Ramsey @KLRamsey5 #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Llir Tirana is the acting head of the Tirana family right now and he is being watched constantly. Everything he does is a test and will be reported back to his father. He can’t do anything that will make the family look bad or make himself or the family look weak.

Elira wants to fight, but she knows that if she keeps fighting there will be nothing left to fight for. She has been broken and weakened and they want her that way. No one is looking for her and there is no one in her life that even knows she’s missing.

The Tirana family is part of the Albanian Syndicate. They’re powerful, respected, and lethal. Llir is the eldest son and next in line to take over as head of the family, but their father has a hard time letting go of the reins and expects complete loyalty from his crew as well as his sons. I enjoyed this story of a mafia family that has a bit of a twist to it. Llir and Elira are strong characters and their paths in life started out differently, but their future could be the part of their lives if they can find a way to be free to live it the way they want to. I give this story a 4-star review and suggest it to reader that mafia families, strong women that may be broken but can be made stronger in the process and men that are possessive and looking to live their lives by their own rules and desires.

Review of Serafin: Kings of Krakow, Book #1 (Social Rejects Syndicate) by Deja Voss @dejavoss @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Serafin and Mia were high school sweethearts, until one fateful day when everything in their worlds came crashing down and Mia left Krakow and continue on with her life and Serafin was left to heal and deal with the tragedy on his own. Neither one of them are the same people they were twelve years ago, and when Serafin faces Mia again for the first time in years, neither one of them are ready for the turmoil that being back in each other’s lives will bring.

This is a story of two lovers that are forced to stay away from each other for years, both having to continue on with their lives as best they can but neither one of them forgetting the other. The secrets, betrayal, pain and truths could either destroy their lives or make them stronger together. Once things start to unravel, they will need to find the strength to hold on tight and make their lives out to be what they want. I enjoyed this story and give it a 4-star review. If you’re a reader that enjoys mafia, twisted families and the danger that comes along with that, you will enjoy Serafin.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Marks of Rebellion: Behind Closed Doors, Book 2 by Maggie Cole @GiveMeBooksPR @HiddenGemsBooks

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He let his guard down for a few minutes, but that’s all it took for her to be in jeopardy again and Hunter to lose Vanessa again. However, he won’t let her stay in the clutches of the devil for long this time. He will get her back and make sure that her life is no longer in danger from her fiancé ever again.

Vanessa was taken and sold to a drug lord, but not for the reasons you would think. She is valuable in the manner of what she knows, not for her body. From one hell to another Vanessa trusts no one and has no idea if she’ll make it out of any of this alive, but when Interpol shows up to rescue one of the women that was taken as well, she will get to feel freedom for a bit again. Only to have it ripped away again. She’s not sure she will survive this time though.

I love the Behind Closed Doors series and Marks of Rebellion is just as good as the first book in the series. The danger, intrigue and suspense in this book makes is a great read. I was introduced to Hunter and Vanessa in Depths of Destruction, book one in the series, but I didn’t know where their story led them until reading Marks of Rebellion. Although the books are intertwined, the stories and characters lead their own path. Ms. Cole leaves each couple’s book a suspense until you get into it. Depths of Destruction is the first book in the Behind Closed Doors series where we meet six men that are former military now turned International Rescue. They are sent to the jungles of Bolivia where they are to rescue a reporter, but they find that there is more to this rescue than what they are told and it leads to these six men having to rescue, protect, and guide these women to safety with a lot of danger, betrayal, twists, and turns along the way. I love getting lost in the story and the suspense that each one brings. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend it for readers that love a steamy, suspenseful story with Alpha males and powerful, smart and strong women that bring these men to their knees.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Devil Dog’s Precious: A Dublin Falls Archangel’s Warriors MC Novel, #8 by Ciara St. James

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

This story was a bit different in some ways than the other books I’ve read in this series. This was brutal in their vengeance. The characters are still just as great, and the story was great but showed a bit more of the wrath that this MC can bring down if you mess with their family in any way.

An MC where the men are retired military and know how to protect their families and the women are just as bada** as their men. They are strong, stubborn, loyal, dangerous and sassy and they keep their men in line. The women are not the type to shy away from danger but step up to the plate right beside their men when needed and will protect their men as fiercely as their men protect them at all costs. This is an MC that is respected, strong, protective of their community as well as their family.

When Devil Dog sees Ashley and hears her story, he can’t help but see so much more in her and her daughter than he was expecting, and he will fight for them both and protect them at all costs. Angel has a bit to go to recover from her past, but with the help of the Archangel’s Warriors she’ll be a stronger woman in no time. I give this story a 5-star review and if you are looking for an MC story with strong men and women and a bit of ruthlessness in their dealings, you will enjoy Devil Dog’s Precious. I love the Archangel Warriors and I look forward to more of their stories. I highly recommend it.

Review of Savage Vow (Ivanov Crime Family Book #1) by Zoe Blake @zblakebooks and @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Book Blurb:
Gregor Ivanov

I took her innocence as payment.
She was far too young and naïve to be betrothed to a monster like me.
I would bring only pain and darkness into her sheltered world.

That’s why she ran.
I should’ve just let her go…
She never asked to marry into a powerful Russian mafia family.
None of this was her choice.

Unfortunately for her, I don’t care.
I own her… and after three years of searching… I’ve found her.
My runaway bride was about to learn disobedience has consequences… punishing ones.

Having her in my arms and under my control had become an obsession.
Nothing was going to keep me from claiming her before the eyes of God and man.
She’s finally mine now… and I’m never letting her go.

Samara Federova is young and naïve right now, but when she learns her fate at her best friends’ birthday party, she has to figure out a way to change it. Samara has always had a crush on Gregor Ivanov, her best friend, Nadia Ivanova’s oldest brother, but she’s also always been afraid of him and the night of Nadia’s birthday Samara saw that scary side of Gregor. Now she’s on the run because she doesn’t want to be her father’s payment to the Ivanov’s.

This story was a quick paced story of a young girl trying to have the life she wants and not have to be the prize that her father is treating her as. Samara’s good at hiding but Gregor is determined to find his property and take her back home where she belongs. When he finds out that Samara’s life and safety are threatened, he’ll do anything to protect her and make sure that his property remains with him. I like Samara’s strength and will power at her age and the fact that she was able to live the life she wanted to at least a period of time before it changed again. Gregor is a powerful man that has many ties and the determination to keep looking for Samara no matter how much time has gone by, now he wants the connections he can get with Samara by his side. I give this story a 4.5-star review and I look forward to more of the Ivanov Crime Family books to come.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Sullivan: Book #5 in the Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team by Laramie Briscoe @LaramieBriscoe

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I love the men and women in Laurel Springs and Sullivan and Shelby’s story is just as hot, entertaining and danger riddled as the others. The men and women of Laurel Springs are loyal, kind and funny. The LSERT are a family and will stand by each other through everything.

Sullivan Baker needed to find his way on his own in life. He was tired of following in the shadows of his father and brother, so he followed his sister to Laurel Springs, and it was the best change for him. Sullivan is a guy that is looking for someone to love and return his feelings. He’s sexy, loyal and sweet.

Attorney Shelby Bruce needed to find something quieter and less stressful for her law office. After leaving Houston, TX for Laurel Springs, she found more than just a quiet town to open her practice, she found an extended family and friends that worried about her and cared about her as well. Shelby is a woman that has had some darkness in her past due to her job, but she’s sweet, beautiful and sexy. She wants Sullivan and she’ll bring him around to her way of thinking soon enough.

Sullivan and Shelby are both gun shy when it comes to relationships, but once they figure out that Laurel Springs is a different town with different people, they are able to relax a bit and find their way to a more fulfilling life and relationship. The women of Laurel Springs are funny, sassy, strong and entertaining. I love reading these books and love, love, love the characters. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for the next book in the LSERT series.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Broken Wings (Broken Rebel Brotherhood: Next Generation) by Andi Rhodes

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

A girl that wants her family to treat like the adult she believes she is and a man that wants to protect his sisters and keep his family safe from their past. She’s the youngest of the Broken Rebel Brotherhood children and in college. Lila wants to be independent and have her parents, sister, and the rest of the BRB original members treat like the other older kids, but she goes about it all wrong and finds herself in heap of trouble, but is really her fault?

Cooper did what he had to in order to save his younger sisters and now they are making their own way in life. They have their own place to live, he has his tattoo shop, his sister Cammi is in college and his youngest sister Carmen is a young teen and in school. Cooper knows that they will never really be safe, but they are safe for now and he’s happy with that, until things start happening and their lives are disturbed again. His only hope for safety and protection is to ask for help and that means bringing the BRB into their lives, but they are already involved in a way since Lila is part of their lives.

This is a wonderful story of two souls trying to find a way to be happy and have the life they want. There is danger and tragedy in this story but it’s also a story of finding a family and place where Cooper, Cammi, and Carmen can be safe, happy and loved by a family by choice not by blood. There are some obstacles that will need to be overcome with Cooper and Lila but if they can just communicate and figure out that they are meant for each other their lives will be so much better. I know that BRB is a different kind of MC than 1% MC’s and some others, but I love that they include all of the family in the meetings and decisions that affect the MC and that all of the girls have their own motorcycles as well. I love the characters and the story lines of this series; I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the BRB: Next Generation to come.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Fugitive (Houston Defiance MC Series Book 3) by K. E. Osborn @KEOsbornAuthor #FugitiveBlogTour #FugitiveIsWanted #MCRomance #KEOsborn #TBR #RomanceReads @HatterServices

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He had to make a choice once he met Emma, his job or her. He chose her and then he lost her. Now his life was on the line and he needed to find somewhere to lay low, so he went to NOLA where he and Emma went on vacation, but he was not expecting anything that happened there. He made new friends and a reason to fight for what he wants again. Kevlar just needs to find a way to bring his family together completely now and his life will be good again.

She’s on the run with her best friend, Savannah and wants to keep a low profile, but when her friend suggests they go to Bourbon Street and have some fun she decides to go along. That doesn’t mean that she is letter her guard down, but when Jovie and Savannah can’t find a seat while at the bar, they join a table with two men and find friendship and more.

I loved Kevlar’s story and the characters as usual were great. The danger they face could destroy the entire MC, but the loyalty of the Defiance MC can pull them through a lot. This is a page turner with great characters, suspense, danger and funny, sexy bikers that always have their brothers’ backs when they are facing powerful people trying to take them down. I loved it and I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Houston Defiance MC books to come.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Wanted: Dead or in Love (A Small-Town Romance), The Cortell Brothers Book 3 by Giulia Lagomarsino

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I’ve loved these books by Ms. Lagomarsino so much and Wanted: Dead or in Love did not disappoint. These brothers are fun to read and the women they find are just as fun, but they are also just as strong and tough as well. Josh and Carly’s story is probably my favorite so far, and that is saying something because the first two books were awesome! This story was a bit different than the other two, but it was just as great.

Josh Cortell woke up and was having a normal day in his life. He went to the bakery for his morning coffee and pastry and had his day all mapped out. It was a normal day for him, until it wasn’t. His whole day and his whole life got turned upside down and sideways in the blink of an eye. He was so out of his comfort zone it was unbelievable.

Carlotta, Carla, Hannah, Carly hated the life she was born into and wanted something normal, so she went looking for it on her own, but it wasn’t that easy for her. She had to keep a low profile and be very careful about how she lived her life now. Otherwise, she would face dire circumstances.

This story was quite a bit different than the first two Cortell Brother stories, but it was so good. I loved Josh and Carly and their lives. The story has a lot of twists, turns, danger and betrayal, but Josh and Carly find a way to survive. I give this story a 5-star review and REALLY hope the next book is due out soon. The ending of this story killed me! If you like stories with loyal, funny, Alpha males and crazy, sassy, fun loving women, with a side of danger, you will love this story and all of the Cortell Brother books. Ms. Lagomarsino is one of my favorite one-click authors and she has not disappointed me yet with her books.

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Review of Mafia Prince (The Young Irish Rebels Book 1) An Irish Mafia Book by Vi Carter @GiveMeBooksPR @authorvicarter

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Maeve is the girl that comes from a family that lives in the poorer part of town, scrapes to make it by and a broken home. Her best friend, Dana O’Reagan comes from a very influential family and her older brother Jack has no issues with pointing that fact out to Maeve when they are young kids. Maeve has avoided Jack for years, but now she’s in a dangerous situation and the only person that can help her is Jack O’Reagan, the problem is that she’s afraid of him.
Maeve just wants to live her life and have a normal life. She’s had some rough times in the past, but now she’s in college and seems to be the only one in her family with any desire to make something of herself. When she finds trouble on her doorstep, she has to turn to the one person that she knows can help, but at what cost?

Jack is the next in line for the crown of the family business. He needs to focus and make sure that he passes all of his tests if he wants to rule the Irish Mafia. He can’t afford to lose his focus or to worry about Maeve right now, but when she walks through his door all of the old feelings seem to come rushing back. Maeve was the bane of Jack’s existence when they were younger and he thought he was free of her, but now he finds that the old feelings are still alive and well. Jack needs to prove himself to his father as well as the rest of the family now or it could mean that all of his plans could go up in smoke.

I really enjoyed this book, it was full of action, danger, betrayal and a steamy connection between Jack and Maeve. I loved the characters and the story. Ms. Carter knows how to write a story that I can get lost in. This is a story of manipulation, betrayal, desires, secrets and status. I look forward to more of this series, hopefully soon. I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to reader that like mafia stories with possessive, dangerous men.
