Review of Broken Beauty by Bry Ann @AuthorBryAnn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Rain and Ajax have both lived through tragedy and have the scars to prove it. Their first meeting will always stick with both of them, but they’ll never talk about it.

Rain has so many scars that her life is not a normal one, but it’s as normal as she can make it. Her rescuer and hero will always be there for her and he will always hold a special place in her heart. Richard never saw himself as a family man, he was too focused on his career, but when he sees Rain for the first time, his heart shatters.

Ajax has lost everyone in his life that has ever meant anything to him. Now he’s on his own until a family decides they want to adopt him, but they wait until he’s almost ready to age out of the system. Now he has a brother, and he protects him over and over again. Until he sees the true man behind the mask.

Rain and Ajax aren’t really friends, but they are kindred souls. Their story is brutal, dark, tragic and healing. They can see the torment behind each other’s eyes and find that they are drawn to each other because of what they’ve survived in their lives. This story shattered my heart and broke me. Rain feels as though she’s broken, but what she doesn’t know is that she is a strong woman and a survivor. Ajax feels as though he’s weak, but he is also a survivor, he’s just a bit quieter and more reserved, but he will find the strength and will that are required to save the one person that matters to him now. Bry Ann’s books are always dark and tragic, but she does such an awesome job in writing them and I love them. Her books break my heart, but in the end it’s always mended back. I love these characters and I love that Francis, Guy, Cut, Lacy, Maria and Seven all make an appearance in this story. The story is dark and tragic, but the ending is beautiful and healing. I give this story a 5-star review and as always, I can’t wait to read more of Bry Ann’s books. Be forewarned, this book has triggers.

Review of Lost Soul (Dirty Souls MC, Book 1) by Emma Creed @authoremmacreed @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He’s wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps since he was a child. His father has always been his hero and that would never change. For Jessie, being a member of the Dirty Souls MC runs through his blood. When tragedy hits, Jessie moves from Utah to Colorado and grows up in the Colorado chapter of the Dirty Souls. He’s always known that he would be one and he has never made excuses or apologized for that, until her.

Hayley may be a Dirty Souls MC Princess, but she has no clue how the club really runs or how things go in the club. Her daddy has kept her away from the club for most of her life, until he no longer has the option to. She doesn’t really understand that she’s off limits to the MC members, but they know it. She’s always known that her heart belonged to the boy that her daddy brought home, but when he asks for Hayley’s help in getting information on one of her classmates her life is turned upside down and sideways. Will her dreams ever come true or will she find a new path?

This book is dark, tragic and heartbreaking with great characters and is a great start to a new series. There are twists and unpredictable outcomes that I never saw coming, but I loved every bit of this book. It brought out all of the feels yet left me wanting so much more. I love the book and the characters. These men live in a brotherhood but not everyone is as loyal as they seem. Danger lurks and tragedy strikes on multiple levels. The Dirty Souls have a lot to clear up so that they don’t completely destruct, but can they come back from the tragedy and betrayals that hit them on multiple levels? I give this story a 5-star review and I look forward to the next book in the series because I have questions that need to be answered!

Review of Savage Ruler (Sinfully Savage) by Kristen Luciani @kristen_luciani @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

They both have regrets from their past that have made them the focused and determined people they are now. They want to prove their worth for their families and show that they are the correct choice to rule when the time comes, but when Heaven Mulligan’s father goes to Matteo Villani for protection and help because Conor Mulligan, Heaven’s brother and co-Underboss of the family, put the family in danger, they both seem to spiral and lose sight of their rules and plans.

Matteo Villani is a focused and disciplined man that has a niche in Manhattan. His name is well known and revered by most. He’s a man with the need for more money and power and he will step on anyone to get to where he wants to be, that is until his world is turned upside down by his own plan.

Heaven Mulligan is a woman that is determined to prove to her father and family that she’s the right choice to take over for him when he’s ready to step down. Her brother Conor isn’t bright enough to keep the family going for more than a week in her opinion, but no matter how hard she works or proves her worth she’s afraid that it won’t mean a thing in the end. When her father makes her take one for the family all of her dreams and sights are shot down and she’s left with more pain.

I love Ms. Luciani’s stories and Savage Rule did not disappoint. It’s ruthless, savage, dark and a great read. I love the characters, the plot and the pace of the book. Its fast paces, action packed and steamy. Matteo and Heaven are both stubborn, focused and determined to get what they want. Matteo see’s Heave as a steppingstone, but Heaven see’s Matteo as a roadblock and their worlds collide in this story. I love it and give it a 5-star review. I can’t wait to read more of the Sinfully Savage stories and get more of the characters in this book. Ms. Luciani is one of my favorite authors and a one-click author that I have to read. If you are looking for a steamy, enemies, mafia read, you’ll want to read Savage Ruler.

Review of Haze of Obedience: Behind Closed Doors Series, Book 3 by Maggie Cole @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Zoe Diego is a Pop Star in Mexico and wants her name known throughout the world, but she’s hit a wall and her manager doesn’t seem to be able to help her get out any more than she is. When she is confronted with the opportunity to make her name better known she’s decides to go for it, but was it the right decision to make or will it destroy her?

Dirk Zamora is a huge fan of Zoe’s and when he is the one assigned to rescue and protect Zoe, he’s excited. The only problem is that these two have a communication barrier between them and they fight a lot until they’re on their own and Dirk is focused on protecting Zoe with his life. Dirk is retired military working for Interpol now.

I love the Behind Closed Doors series and Haze of Obedience is just as good as the first books in the series. The danger, intrigue and suspense in this book makes is a great read. I was introduced to Dirk and Zoe in Depths of Destruction, book one in the series, but I didn’t know where their story led them until reading Haze of Obedience. Although the books are intertwined, the stories and characters lead their own path. Ms. Cole leaves each couple’s book a suspense until you get into it. Depths of Destruction is the first book in the Behind Closed Doors series where we meet six men that are former military now turned International Rescue. They are sent to the jungles of Bolivia where they are to rescue a reporter, but they find that there is more to this rescue than what they are told and it leads to these six men having to rescue, protect, and guide these women to safety with a lot of danger, betrayal, twists, and turns along the way. The women find their inner strength with the power of the men that have rescued them and are guiding them to safety. Zoe’s story is full of pain, brutality, darkness and eventually light and love. Dirk is a man that worships the ground Zoe walks on and will do anything to save, protect and love her. I give this book a 5-star review and am so looking forward to Cavern of Silence.

Review of With This Ring: To Have And To Hold Duet, Book 1 by Natasha Knight @NatashaKnight13 @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Ms. Knight has done it again! Another book that I could not put down and left me wanting so much more.

Cristiano Grigori has rescued Scarlett De La Cruz but has he really. She’s been rescued from the tower in the evil castle, but she’s still not free. Cristiano is out for redemption and the De La Cruz family is in his sights. He’s suffered enough in his life, now it’s his turn to get what he wants in life and if he doesn’t keep his head straight it could be the end.

Scarlett De La Cruz was raised in a family of violence, it doesn’t faze her in the least anymore, but she will ask for the safety of her younger brother when things turn bad for her. She’s had her own suffering in her life and now that things have circled back her life could be null and void. If she can survive the next phase of things to come, she may have a life left to live.

I really loved this story, it’s full of dark, dangerous men, action packed, and tragic. It’s a tragic story of family loss, betrayal and deception. Cristiano and Scarlett have both been betrayed by people that they should have been able to trust but find themselves in more danger when they are blindsided. Family should be reliable and trustworthy, but money and power are too blinding to some. I love the characters and the story. I can’t wait for the next book in the duet, I Thee Take. I love Natasha Knight’s writing. She writes stories that suck you in and hold you tight until the very end, leaving you with a book hangover, it happens to me every time I read one of her books. I give this story a 5-star review and suggest it to readers that are looking to get lost in another world for a bit, and if the blurb or my review don’t draw you in, just look at that cover!

Marco Diego was held against his will for over a year, and the only thing that kept him going were daily visits to his cell by Sister Valentina.

She had come by the Camillo compound every day, offering him conversation, prayer, and even her shy smile when he told her a dirty joke to make her blush.

She was beautiful, with her long dark hair, and caramel-colored eyes that looked at him with such compassion, kindness, and dare he believe it—longing.

She was only twenty, just a girl compared to his almost forty years, but when she looked at him the way she did, he wanted to do things with her that a man should never want to do with a nun.

Valentina wasn’t sure how she was ever going to escape her little village, but she had to.

She had no choice since her father betrayed the Camillo family.

They were one of the biggest crime families in the Guadalajara Syndicate, and her only way to safety was to pledge her undying love and life to a God who didn’t care about her or her family.

She said her vows, made promises she never intended on keeping, and then met him—Marco Diego.

He made her feel things that she had never felt for any man.

Things that would get her kicked out of the nunnery, her only solace from the Camillo family.

As a nun, she could hide in plain sight. If she was caught with Marco, she’d be shunned, ousted from the order, and made to face the Camillo family on her own, but that was a chance she was willing to take if it meant finally being with him.

Can’t Fix Cupid is K.L. Ramsey’s third book in the Royal Bastards MC series.

MY REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Marcos Diego has been missing for over a year after trying to help Luciana Diaz find her way to her love. He sacrificed himself so she could find peace and safety. Now he’s fighting for his sanity and his life locked away in Mexico, by a drug cartel. His last hope to save his life is to get word to the US Embassy in Mexico that he is being held captive and a rescue mission put into effect to get him out.

Valentina Leon needs to find refuge or forfeit her life. The Camillo family is hunting her, and she has no way to escape her town or them, or so she thought. Maybe if she can hide in plain sight she can survive. One night of too much wine though and her secret is spilled. She thinks she’s safe, but not everyone is loyal. Money has a way of making people give up their values and morals.

I really liked this story. I’ve read the other books with Marcos and was so happy to have his story told. Marcos is an FBI agent that is loyal and protective. He’s afraid if he doesn’t get away from the Camillo family, he won’t have that chance, but a chance meeting gives him hope and then his world gets turned upside down. He has no idea what’s going on now. I love the connections that these characters always have with each other, the Savage Hell MC and the connection with Whiskey O’Brien and Anders Taylor, both FBI agents with Marcos have each other’s backs and are ready to help when needed. They have a great connection and comradery. For the Savage Hell MC to work with the FBI shows a loyalty for the MC brotherhood since Whiskey is one of them. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Savage Hell MC, RBMC, and the Lone Star Rangers.

Review of Mason: Project Arma Book 4 by Nyssa Kathryn

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Mason “Eagle” Ross is the watcher of the team. None of the team trusts easily, but when Sage comes to town to care for Lexi while she’s pregnant and be the team doctor, Mason keeps close watch of her. Not just because he doesn’t trust her, but also because he’s always seen her as his other half.

Dr. Sage Porter has a secret and she isn’t sure she can tell Mason about her secret because it could mean more danger for her and someone close to her. She is a determined woman herself and is focused on her task of helping the only way she can. She may question her contact, but she’s just as loyal to her family as the men of Marble Protection.

The men of Marble Protection have good reason for their trust issues, but once they have that trust you have their protection and friendship unless that trust is broken. They are loyal, sexy, protective and determined men and they have each other’s backs as well as anyone else they deem to be family. This story is full of secrets, passion, suspense, danger and non-stop action. It has wonderful characters that you can’t help but fall in love with and want them to succeed in their efforts to bring down Project Arma once and for all. They keep getting close, but someone always seems to find a way to get free. In this story we’re introduced to a new team, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it means that we will have even more books in this series. I give this book a 5-star review and I am looking forward to more in the series and I cannot wait for Wyatt’s book!

Review of Leith: A Dark Scottish Mafia Romance (Mountain Men) by Jane Henry @ArdentPRose

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Private, broody, protective and very sexy, Leith Cowen, is the Captain of the Cowen Clan now, but his father still tries to run the Clan from the shadows. Leith always feels that he has to prove himself to his father as well as the Clan. He does things differently than his father, but he still expects the respect from his family and his men.

Cairstina lives in fear most of the time from her own family. She wants to get away and find a life of peace and happiness, but her handicap puts her at a disadvantage. When she finds herself in a dangerous position, she’s sure that she won’t have to worry about the danger at home any longer because she may not make it to see the next day.

I love Jane Henry’s Mafia Romance books. Her Irish Mafia Romance stories were some of my favorites, but the Scottish Clan is right up there, and I’ve only read one book so far. The Cowen Clan is a private family that likes to keep their whereabouts and their family name and business quiet. They have their connections that know who and what they are, and they are a dangerous clan to cross. I love the family, characters, story and I am looking forward to so many more of this family. The story has a darkness, but there is a lightness as well. I love the interaction between the women in this story and how they are strong and independent, but that the men of the family will do everything in their power to protect and keep the women safe. Leith takes his role as Clan Captain very seriously and Cairstina brings out such a different side of him. I give this story a 5-star review and cannot wait for more of the Mountain Men.

Review of Captured (Everyday Heroes World) by S. Nelson @authorsnelson1 @GiveMeBooksPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 out of 5

Quinn Harris thought she had met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, but one fateful day opened her eyes, and she is now single and determined to stay that way for a while. The pain and loss of trust makes her focus more on her job and doing it well. She’s not ready for another relationship right now. She’s had enough pain in her life for the past three years that she’s determined to focus on herself and her job. She loves what she does and wants to do right by her clients and make them her priority.

Nolan Bennett was once a happy man that could joke and smile, but all of that changed a few years ago and now he’s happy to be on patrol without a partner. He doesn’t joke or smile at all now and his mood is always dark. He’s a loner and the only person he talks to is his younger brother, the only member of his family left.

The first meeting of these two was tense and Nolan was rude and detached from the situation. The second meeting, Quinn was not happy that this was the officer assigned to meet her at her client’s house, and Nolan was embarrassed for his previous behavior when he saw Quinn again. These two seemed to be in each other’s paths now and nothing could prepare them for the way things would work out. Neither of them was looking for a relationship, but how could they deny the intensity they felt when they would see each other? Whether it was fate that brought them together or something else, these two were meant for each other. If for no other reason than to heal each other. This story was tragic, amusing at times, heartbreaking at other times, but a beautiful story none the less. I loved it and give it a 4.5-star review. I love S. Nelson’s books; they are always a great read for me. I look forward to more of these stories and hope that there will be one with Will’s story.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review of Lunatic: Ruthless Asylum, Book 1 by K.L. Savage @klsavage_author @GiveMeBooksPR #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Oh my! This book was a wild ride of emotions. It is a story about some very difficult illnesses and the people that have to live with them. However, it’s done is such a great way. I think what really hit me in this book was Chloe’s anger at Reaper and her statement to him. “They are stronger than you think. They are not fragile.” Her anger shows just how strong she is. I love the characters and the story. It’s tragic, haunting and beautiful.

I love Reaper even more in this story as it shows such a different side to him and how much he gives to family no matter how long he has known them or their circumstances. He’s a wonderful man that will do anything for those he cares about. The entire Ruthless crew is that way and even though they drive Reaper crazy with their shenanigans, craziness, or how their minds may be cracked, Reaper will always stand beside them and help and protect them.

I love Chloe and Jessica; they are the perfect match for Zain and he’s a great character. I can’t wait for more of the Ruthless Asylum stories and characters. I think with each character and book that K. L. Savage writes in this series and break out series, get better with each book. I give this story a 5-star review and am so looking forward to more of the Ruthless Kings and Ruthless Asylum series to come. If you like your books with a touch of crazy, you’ll love these books!
