Wow! An emotional roller coaster of a ride. Texas is an awesome character with a painful past. He’s attracted to a woman that is off limits, but that doesn’t stop his heart from wanting her.

I loved Texas and his story broke my heart. He’s the joint SAA for the Houston Defiance. He has no idea how thoughtful or caring he really is because he’s damaged. When Finley’s life is in danger, he is the first person to step up to protect her. Their friendship is why he tells himself that he’s ready to step in front of her to protect her, but there’s more going on than he’s willing to admit. His past has made him the man and the protector he is today.

Finley is the MC’s legal counsel and a good friend to Texas, but when Texas and Phantom are in her space her feelings for Texas become more apparent. She’ll fight them because of her position and her reputation, but life doesn’t always go as planned.

These two are explosive together both in fighting their attraction and giving in to it. Both strong willed and independent, they fight the draw they feel until they can’t anymore. Finley’s life is in jeopardy, but it’s not only her life. This book was so emotional and tragic, but I loved every bit of it. The characters have some dark and painful pasts, but the MC is a true family and will always protect their own. I love this series and the power that the Defiance MC has to bring their enemies to their knees. I give this book a 5-star review and am looking forward to more in the series as well as more books from KE Osborn. Her books are always a great read.

Dishonorably discharged from the military and runs his own highly secret, clandestine operation, Cain Master is feared by many and disliked by others. He is a man that gets what he wants, and he has no problem doing whatever it takes to get the results he wants on a job. When he sees Violet in a video, he is instantly attracted to her and wants to hire her for her skills, but also, he wants to possess her as his own.

Violet is a petite woman, but that does not mean she is weak. She is a woman that is looking for vengeance and has figured out a way to find it. However, the events leading up to her asking for help has been a little rough to say the least. She’s a weapon on her own and knows how to take care of herself and defend herself, but when she meets the man that can help her get her vengeance, her life becomes embroiled in his.

I really liked this book. It was action packed from the beginning and left me wanting so much more by the end. Cain and Violet are a great team. Violet is a strong, independent woman that finds the real her while working with Cain on her first assignment as a contractor with his business. I loved these characters, and I am anxious for more of their story. This is a dark romance with great characters and a great story line. I love Ms. Henry’s books and this new series appears to be another great series from her. Her characters are always dangerous, dark, Alpha men and tough, independent women that match perfectly together. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more in the series.

She left Italy because she thought that she would be safer at home, and she had a plan that she wanted to put in place to prevent having to marry a man that she didn’t love. However, she was not prepared for the danger she found herself in back in Maine.

He was going crazy because she left him, and he knew that she was in danger no matter where she went if she was not with him. Now he had to go to the US and find her and bring her back, but he had to deal with a few things to ensure her safety before they could find their HEA.

Amelia fought Giovanni at every turn and when she found herself in danger after returning to her grandmother, she needed to find a way to save herself because she left the only man that could have saved her. Trust is betrayed, secrets are revealed, and danger lurks for Amelia. When she escapes the bonds holding her, she’ll find friendship, love, and a real family. I loved this story and the characters. The story is action packed, dark, sinister, and full of great characters. I give this story a 4-star review and I am looking forward to reading more of SR Jones’ books in the future.

She made a deal to help a man and in return she would find freedom. However, nothing ever seems to go to plan. Little does Mary know that the man that she finds herself with is actually the better option.

He has escaped his master and reunited with his family, but he still must find his footing and the relationship with his sister and brother needs to be stronger. It’s not as simple as Roman thought it would be to run the family legacy and remain free from the master that took him as a teen.

This book was action packed as well as steamy. Mary and Roman fight the attraction from the beginning. At first Mary is just a tool for Roman to right a wrong nine years ago, but the pull he feels from her is messing with his mind. When their pasts come back and they find that they have now intertwined, their lives, families, and happiness could be torn away from them. They will have to fight for what they never knew they really wanted. I loved the story and the characters, and I am looking forward to Twisted Lover. I give this book a 5-star review. If you are looking for a dark mafia, organized crime story with great characters and twisted enemies, you will love the Brutal Reign Series and Wicked Master.

She’s been trapped into a life of crime by someone that should have been protecting her, but she made a huge mistake when she showed up at his bar to fulfill her duty or get herself killed, or worse.

Pitbull is the manager of the Ares Infidels MC’s bar, and they are determined to keep it clean and safe for their patrons. When he sees the little beauty walk in, he is completely taken by her, but while watching her interactions in the bar, he becomes suspicious. Unfortunately for him, she’s not what he’s looking for in a woman when he discovers the seedy side of her.

Luciana is just trying to survive her life and is doing what she’s been instructed to do. She’s not happy doing this biding, but she has no choice. When the big man corners her in the hallway and drags her into his office, she’s petrified that he might be worse than the man controlling her life.

I really liked this story and I love the characters. The women seem to be innocent and mousey, but when push comes to shove, they are tough, strong and will stand up for themselves, their friends, and those that they love. Luciana was no different. She was in a losing situation until Pitbull stepped in and put her life in worse danger, but he ended up saving her and protecting her, then he claimed her. The Ares Infidels MC and the Time Served MC are close as are their women and Luciana was taken into the fold and made to feel like she finally had a family, something she had been missing for too long. I love these men and women and I am looking forward to more in the Tenillo Guardians AIMC and TSMC. These two writers are doing a great job with intermingling these two MC’s and they keep the action, danger, amusement, and creativity of these characters alive and turning the pages in each book. I give this book a 5-star review and am excited for more to come.

She took ten years of his life because she lied, now he’s out and ready to take his revenge.

Rage spent ten years in prison because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He has nightmares of his time there and he’s filled with rage and ready make good on his promise that he made in the courtroom. His club is ready to help him in whatever way he needs them.

Bexley has just been notified that the man that promised to get revenge for her lies has been released from prison and she’s scared. Her new life as a paralegal may not help or protect her from Rage. When he starts making himself known, Bexley tries to be strong and not show any weakness for fear, but inside she’s terrified that he will make good on his promise.

This story is twisted, haunting, tragic and unpredictable. Rage is a great character that is learning who he is now after spending ten years trying to stay alive and protect himself. His rage has not died down and his need for revenge has amped up. The only problem is that when he finally comes face to face with Bexley, there is something else that he feels, and his plans change. I really liked Rage and the unpredictability of this story. I loved that Rage has to figure out who he is now and how he can make his life work with the changes he is finding. He’s still a dangerous man, but his vulnerability shows when he least expects it. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of RBMC books to come.

Tongue and Daphne a story of true soul mates. Their love knows no bounds.

Tongue is still standing by Daphne, even though she hasn’t remembered him or their life together. Daphne’s mind has decided to take a step back from life. She’s back in New Orleans where it all began, can she get her memory back by going back to what she knows?

The pain Daphne went through as a child caused her mind to fracture, but Tongue knows that she’s still the woman he loves. He won’t give up on her. Her memory may not be back but there are bits and pieces of her that know that her life is now in Las Vegas.

I love the Ruthless Kings MC books and Tongue is definitely a favorite character. This story was painful, tragic, haunting and entertaining to read. The depravity of these two is what makes them such great characters to me. I love Tongue’s strength, but his naivete of emotions and life in some ways. He had a dark childhood and has seen the darkness that lurks in the world, and he has no problem eliminating anyone that gets in his way of his life, but he also begins to see the good in life around him. Love is a powerful medicine when needed and found. I love Tongue and Daphne; they are two of my favorite Ruthless Kings and their story always leans to the outer limits of reality. They have a darkness within them that lurks, but it also makes them great characters. Tongue is dealing with a lot of emotions in this story, and it had me crying as well as smiling at times. I love this story and I give it a 5-star review.

Is he a ghost, a guardian angel, or is he real?

Jayna can’t take the reminders of what could have been in NYC, so she decides to leave NYC for Miami. She’s closer to family and is ready to open her new club in Miami, but she’ll forever be a King, no matter where she lives. She’s stronger now and has a plan in place to help her mother and destroy the man that took everything from her. Little does she know there was more to what she believes, and her life is still in danger.

Kiran is ready to fight for the light and step into the world. Is he too late to reclaim his wife and the life they could have had? His decisions could have cost him everything, but he’s willing to fight and prove to Jayna that he is there to stay. He has a plan to right the wrongs of their past, but it will be a painful process, because he isn’t the man that he is portraying.

I loved this story of a second chance with soul mates. Jayna and Kiran were meant for each other and the pain and agony they’ve suffered almost destroyed them. They are stronger together and Jayna needs to realize that. The love they share is strong and there is a reason why Jayna never moved on in her life. When the danger lurks again, she’s ready to prove her strength and independence to Kir. Kir’s battle to come back from the devastation was painful, but worth the fight if he can win Jayna back. This story is tragic, action packed, page turning and steamy. Jayna and Kiran are a powerful couple, add the King name and they are close to unstoppable. They have a powerful family behind them, and they can’t help but come out on top. I give this story a 5-star review and I look forward to more in the Street Kings Series.

The line between love and hate can sometimes be blurred. His hate for Sienna is powerful, but there is something else there that draws him to her.

Cas hides his pain and anger with being the fun guy. He’s always got a woman hanging off of him and a smile ready for his friends and family, but inside he’s a mass of pain and hate.

Sienna is still considered a prisoner with the Red Horseman MC. Even though she helped Rae escape her prison and save the twins, she’s still the enemy in their eyes. Her family has caused enough pain for the Red Horsemen MC and taken enough from them that they can’t forgive her that easily.

This story was full of pain, tragedy, action, heartbreak, secrets, and twists and turns. Cas and Sienna are a time bomb waiting to detonate and when they do everyone in their path will be collateral damage. Sienna is still hiding herself from the Red Horsemen, and they have no idea of the power and secrets she’s hiding. Cas is prepared to fight Sienna for as long as it takes to get her out of his system, but he isn’t prepared for the damage it will inflict on him when she takes her rightful place. She’s doing it to save Rae, whether the Red Horsemen believe her or not, she has a soft spot for Rae, Red, and the twins. That soft spot could be her downfall though. She will put her life on the line to protect them and in doing so she is also putting her family in danger. I loved this story. Cas is such a strong character, but his hate and anger becomes too strong to keep it hidden any longer and the club begins to worry about him. I give this story a 5-star review and I am looking forward to Cage. After reading the sneak peek, though I am worried.

Rebel returns to Hunter’s Creek to start working as co-manager of the new bakery that the Hunter’s Creek Archangels Warriors has opened. He has no idea who the woman that will be co-managing with him is, or that she’s about to bring out the protective and possessive nature he had buried deep inside. When he thinks that she has already been claimed by a brother he fights to stay away and leave her alone, only his perception is way off. 

Madisen is so excited to finally have the opportunity to open her own bakery. Yeah, she is only a part owner, but still, her dream of owning a bakery and making her sweets to sell is finally coming true. She’s a tough cookie and takes no crap from anyone. When one of her employees finds herself in a bad relationship, the Hunter’s Creek Archangels Warriors will find out just how tough she is, and so will the guy that was threatening her employee. Madisen had to fend for herself and not about to let anyone take anything from her ever again. 

I loved Rebel and Madisen. The Archangel’s Warriors are tough men in their own rights, but add in the women that make them whole and you have an MC of not only bada** bikers, but their women too. The women are just as tough and ruthless as their men, otherwise the men would not have chosen them. I love how Ciara St. James writes her characters. They’re fun, loyal, tough, dark, Alpha, protective and funny. Rebel’s and Madisen’s story was the same. It was an action packed, page turner that pulled me in and held me tight. I love reading these books and losing all track of time and the world around me. I give this book a 5-star review.
