Review of Deceptive Knight: Street Kings Book 3 by Sienna Snow @sienna_snow

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He’s a King, but he’s also working for the government and goes by Shay Decker when he’s working. Rayhan King is a man that lives two lives to help his family. The tragic death of his parents left him on the streets where he met his foster brothers and a new family. His “brothers” are beginning to think he doesn’t remember who he is because he’s been working for the CIA for so long and going by his alias.

She’s a mafia princess but left her family to work for a clandestine organization when she was recruited in college. In order to keep her family safe, she decided to leave them and keep everyone guessing where she went and what she was doing. That organization has her undercover and her path with Shay Decker (Rayhan Knight) was an unforgettable path. Now she has to stay away from him after she shot him. It was either that or someone else would. Cora Hass (Lillian “Lilly” Lennox) has deceived a lot of people and now she has to answer for those actions.

I have loved the Knight Brothers since the first book. Rayhan is no exception. He’s ruthless, dangerous, sexy, and determined. However, his determination is not focused, and he’ll find himself back in Lilly’s trap if he’s not careful. A final case will bring these two back together as a final goodbye and closure for them, but they want to fight for their relationship. Will these two be able to fight and stay alive as well as together. I love this story and can’t wait to read Sam’s story. His relationship is just as complicated as his brothers’ relationships have been and it will be interesting to read his story. I give this book a 5-star review and highly suggest that you read these books from the beginning of the series. They’re great!

Review of Tex: Spawns of Chaos MC Book 2, by Rae B. Lake @RaeB_Lake #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

Wow! This book was a ride. Tex is a man that when off his meds, has some really wild mind-blowing visions. The man is a genius, but if he’s not on his meds, he’s a liability. I loved the story, but it is tragic, haunting, and dark. I fell in love with Tex in the first book Shepard.

Tex and Shepard have to get away from the club and find refuge, but things go sideways, and they end up in more danger. Tex does find his woman though in the most unlikely place. She’s perfect for him and they are perfect together. This was a wild ride of danger, darkness, and crazy things happening. The book starts out in a dark place, and that darkness stays throughout the book. I think Rae did a good job with this book considering the topic.

I give this book a 4-star review and recommend it to readers that like MCs, dark stories, or wild rides. However, be forewarned that this book is dark.

Review of Heartless Sinner by Erika Wilde @ElleWoodsPR

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

He has no plans to marry or settle down just yet, but his father has other ideas. Vincent Russo is a capo and figures he’s the one to be names successor to his father. His father wants him to settle down and make himself look mellower and approachable. He has no desire to do that and makes excuses to his father. However, when Marla Preston comes knocking on Vince’s door, she has no idea that she’s put herself in the line of fire for Vince.

While Vince’s father and his closest men search for the suitable wife for Vince, Marla walks into his lair and puts herself in the crosshairs. However, she wants nothing to do with marrying Vince or any man in the Mafia. Looking for vengeance she goes to the one man that she knows can help her find the person responsible for her brother’s death, but she finds so much more.

I really liked this book; the twists and unpredictability of the story was really interesting. The story kept my interest and the pages turning wanting to find the person responsible and to find out if Marla and Vincent would relent to their desire and attraction. I give the book a 5-star review and look forward to more from Erika Wilde in the future.

Review of Demon’s Hellion: Hunter’s Creek Archangel’s Warriors MC Book 4) by Ciara St. James

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I’m not quite sure how Ciara St. James does it, but her books just seem to get better with each character’s story. I loved Demon’s Hellion.

Demon meets his Hellion at the hospital and has a long way to go to convince her that she’s the only woman he wants or needs. Zara is confident in her career, but when it comes to being a confident woman that knows how to handle the advances of a sexy, leather wearing, motorcycle riding Demon, she’s at a loss.

I love Zara and Demon, it’s great to have Demon’s story and that Harlow was able to give him a hard time about finding his woman. Demon is a good man, and he deserves to be happy. Zara is a kind, generous woman that needs to feel loved and wanted. These two are perfect together and Ciara does a great job with her stories. Her men are sexy, dirty, protective, loyal, and when they find their person, there is not much that can persuade them to give up trying to get that woman to commit and submit. Ciara’s women are strong, sassy, sexy, and feisty. I love all her characters and I look forward to each story to come. I give this book a 5-star review and highly recommend all of her books.

Review of Skid (Death Hounds MC Book Two) by H. J. Marshall @EJBookPromos #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

I loved this story of Grace and Dalton (Skid). Their paths crossed in an unconventional way, but Skid knew as soon as he saw Grace that he wanted more with her than slaying her dragon and laying her demons to rest. The only problem is that he wasn’t up front with her in the beginning and she doesn’t trust easily due to her past.

This was a tragic story that brought healing, revealed secrets, and led to Grace finding a real family that cared for her and would protect her at all costs. The characters were dangerous and great! This was my first read of H. J. Marshall’s books, but it won’t be the last. I loved the way she told this story and her ability to keep the reader interested waiting for the shoe to drop or for Grace to find out the secret Skid was keeping from her. I loved the characters and the story and I give it a 5-star review. I purchased the first book so that I can go back and read it, but I also put the Embattled Dreams Series on my wish list so that I can get those and read them as well.

Review of Gingersnap: Odin’s Fury Motorcycle Club Book 4, by Victoria Jayne @AuthorVictoriaJ

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Liz “Gingersnap” wasn’t looking for another man to dominate her on a regular basis, but she did enjoy playing. After she was publicly humiliated by the last man that she thought she was in love with and had a relationship with, she was not looking for another man that she couldn’t trust, but when she was with Dash, her brain was on hiatus.

Dash wasn’t looking for a permanent play partner, but the sexy redhead made an impression, and he couldn’t deny that he wanted more from her.

When danger comes knocking these two will have to find a way to either survive on their own, or together. Neither one is sure they are ready for the together part. The problem is that they are addicted to one another and want to see if a relationship will work. Dash will need to protect what’s his. I really liked this book. It was my first book in the series, but I’ll go back and read the others now. I loved the characters in the Odin Fury MC and the writing style of Victoria Jayne. I loved the sassiness and the fire of Gingersnap. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to reading more books in the series.

Review of Belles & Mobsters Book 2: Nico by Eva Winners @EvaWinners. @HiddenGemsBooks

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

This was a great Mafia book. Nico and Bianca are both holding in secrets that can destroy their future, but they will actually make them stronger. Bianca is hiding her paternity and fears it getting out into the world for the results could be deadly for her and her daughters, but when Nico wants to use it against his rival for vengeance, he vows to protect her and her daughters, but his actions bring trouble to Bianca.

I loved the characters and the story. Although these guys are dangerous Mafia men, they have morals and will fight for those that can’t stand up for themselves. This was the first book I read in the Belles & Mobsters Series, but it won’t be the last. I loved it and am going to buy the first one to read and will read the subsequent books in the series as they come out as well. I give this book a 5-star review and highly recommend it to readers that enjoy Mafia romance stories with women that are just as strong as their men.

Review of Axel’s Grind (Savage Hell MC Book 5) by K. L. Ramsey @KLRamsey5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Axel was a cop, but now he has his private detective business with his partner Hart. Their business is coming along well, but now that Axel is a suspect it could ruin everything.

Melody believes that Axel is her prime suspect. She goes against her boss to get information and hopefully get her case closed. The problem is that she has just put a target on her own back and that of Axel’s.

I love the Savage Hell MC. The characters are all great. Axel did not disappoint. He is determined to protect Melody and make sure that they find the person that has threatened her and that took another life. Melody has to work out a past relationship, but after spending time with Axel in a remote area, the heat between these two burns brighter. I loved reading Axel and Melody’s story and I am looking forward to more of the Savage Hell MC. I give this story a 5-star review.

Review of Love At First Fight (RBMC, Huntsville, AL) Book 6 by K. L. Ramsey @KLRamsey5

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5

JB has had to fight most of his life, first to survive and keep his little sister safe and alive. His mother couldn’t care for them, but he didn’t want to leave his mother to fend for herself, so he stuck around. That is until things got worse and then he decided it was time to put himself and his sister first and ask for help. Raised by his maternal grandmother, JB and his sister Tanya had a better life than what they started out with. Now he’s fighting in the ring to make money and things aren’t going so well. He’s in debt and to protect his family and those he loves; he will have to fight the battle of his life.

She’s the daughter of JB’s trainer. They’ve never spoken much or had much to do with each other, but now she needs to find him and get him to step up and protect her father. She has no idea that she needs protection too, but he does. Charley is a strong, independent, determined woman, but when she realizes the danger lurking around her, she decides to take JB up on his offer to protect her. When things start to heat up there is more danger around the corner that they will need to avoid.

I enjoyed this story with JB and Charley. This is a story of forced proximity that leads to a HEA, but there is danger to be avoided first. When Charley puts her faith in JB his thoughts begin to turn around and things might work out for him and his family. As always with the RBMC, Huntsville, AL chapter, the characters were fun to meet and read about and the support by the brothers is always great to encounter. When these guys patch in they find themselves with a large family that is willing to go to the ends of the earth to help and protect each other. This story did not disappoint in that, and I give it a 4-star review.

Review of Trainwreck, Soulless Kings MC, Book 6 by Andi Rhodes #TuesdayBookBlog

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5

Trainwreck is now a patched member of the Soulless Kings MC. Since his twin sister has returned to him his life has been focused on taking down the people that took her and ruined their lives. He’s kept his dealings to himself, but when a brother sees his room and finds out what he’s been up to he can’t keep it quiet. Especially since the brother in question is a prospect. Trainwreck is now worried about his patch in the club and what will happen when Fender, his president requests his presence.

Sylvia has always been in the shadows, but now that her sister is married and moved to another MC, her life with the Black Savages MC has been a little better. She still holds the anger and pain from her childhood though. Her one night stands are her way of coping and when she decides to go home with a man at the bar that catches her eye, she’s determined to live life on her own terms, no matter what Donovan tells her, when he says the man is bad news. That one decision could be the worst one she’s ever made.

I loved this story of Trainwreck and Sylvia. I love the Soulless Kings MC characters and this story was just as great as the others. These men will do anything to protect their family, whether they are by choice or by blood. When the MC is faced by betrayal from a member of the Black Savages MC, the danger amps up ten degrees. The Soulless Kings are resourceful, loyal, and above all very lethal. That’s how they will take down the danger lurking around them. I can’t wait for Squirrel’s book next. I give this book a 5-star review and want more soon!
