Nash Harrington had to turn to his stepbrothers, Hurricane and Bayou when he found himself in a very bad position and his own father wouldn’t help him out. His stepbrothers are part of the NOLA Defiance MC, Hurricane being the president. They aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, but Nash works on the legal side. When Nash gets his name cleared and creates his own company away from daddy dearest, he finds himself in need of a part planner to help him boost his company. Little does he know that the woman he hires is entwined with his previous company and his biggest rival.

Brianna Cox is a woman that is well known in the party planning business, some say she is the best in New Orleans, so of course someone with a high profile will want to hire her. When she first meets Nash, she sees a very handsome man, but a bit of an arrogant man and is hesitant to take him on as a client, but when he offers her a great deal to work with him, she decides to concede. However, her decision could bite her in the end.

I loved this angsty, passion filled, drama. Nash seems to be so arrogant and a man that looks down on his stepfamily, but he’s really just a man that had to grow up way too fast and make his own path in life. When he sees Brianna, he knows what he wants and although he fights it really hard, he finally gives in. The trouble is that these two need to communicate and learn to trust each other. They have to fight for what they want and there will be a few obstacles, but in the end, everyone gets what they want. I loved the book and the characters, and I am very excited for Lucas’ book to come out. He is going to fall so hard, he’s such a player, and they fall the hardest. I give this book a 5-star review.

Ares has a sad, misunderstood past. Ever since the day of his birth, he’s been treated like an outcast, a monster, but he’s a good man that has taken a dark path. Now he’s a member of the Kings of Mayhem, Tennessee chapter and the Sergeant At Arms. He just wants to live his life on his own path, but when the dancer catches his eye everything, he thought he wanted goes out the window.

Rory made a deal with the devil and now she has to follow through with it, or does she? Rory has lost everyone she has ever loved and when she is manipulated by someone that should love her, and told lies, her life is complicated. She finds herself being torn in two directions and isn’t sure which to follow, but when danger finds Ares, her path is cleared up. She’ll make Ares her top priority.

These two will go to any length to protect each other, even though they’ve both had tragic pasts, their future could be bright. They just have to give in to what their hearts want. Ares and Rory are complicated. The past has a way of coming back around at times and making one’s life a mess. Lies, secrets, betrayal, and cruelty are all part of this book, but there is also a great cast of characters that really make these stories so good. I’ve loved the Kings of Mayhem since the very first book with Cade and Indy and none of these books has been a disappointment. Ares is a great character, and his story is raw, emotional, and tragic, but it ends with an HEA. I give this book a 5-star review and I am patiently waiting for the next book in the series.

Another great story in the Made Series.

Hayden wears a mask that most people see and believe to be the true person, but Adelina sees a different man and even though she’s heard stories and believes she knows who he is, she couldn’t be more wrong. Hayden has made some mistakes in his life, and the one that haunts him still is the day his sister took the fall for a murder he committed. He’ll never forgive himself for letting her take the fall. Now he’s the boss in Indiana and needs to take a wife, he’ll marry into the same family his sister did and bring the Italians and the Irish closer together. When he meets his future wife, he sees a beautiful, laid-back woman that he believes he can be happy with.

Adelina isn’t excited for the union between her and Hayden, but when she’s surprised by his appearance, her life changes and she can’t wait to get out of her parents’ house. While she may not know the man she is to marry, she sees a man that could help her and protect her. She is determined to protect her little sister at all costs as well. When she almost loses her life, everything in her world changes. However, a different danger lurks and could destroy everything.

I loved this story. Hayden and Adelina both wear masks for the world to see, but they’re able to be themselves around each other. Hayden is lethal, but he does have a soft side when it comes to Adelina and Viviana. The Gallagher’s and the Gallo’s will go through a lot in this book, and they will get revenge, but will they be able to move forward with their lives and make their union between the families work? I give this book a 5-star review and can’t wait to read more of the series.

Her brother shipped her to Ireland as a teen when trouble found her. She finished high school while living with her Aunt and Uncle there, went to college, and is now a doctor and back home with her brother. Trouble has found her again, and she’s afraid to tell anyone. Stella is afraid of being sent away again, but there’s no way that Asher “Hellhound”, her brother will do that. Besides, Angel wouldn’t allow it.

Angel’s known that Stella would be his for a long time, the trouble is getting her to realize it and accept it. One night with her isn’t enough and he knows something that she doesn’t, but she will find out soon.

I really liked this book. The story is gritty, suspenseful, has woman drama, and very sexy, overprotective, Alpha men that will do anything to keep their family or those they consider family safe and protected. I love the characters and I’m looking forward to more of this MC and their HEAs. I give this book a 5-star review.

Laney is the sister of Snow; the President of the Satan’s Legacy and Magic is tasked with protecting her. Magic fights it for as long as he can, but when danger lurks closer to Laney, Magic has to protect her from her past and the danger that is seeking her out, as well as hide things from his president and club.

Magic’s job is to be sure that no members keep things from the President or the MC, but when he has one, he tries his best to keep it and honor Laney’s choice, but his mouth seems to get out of control.

I love Andi Rhodes’ books and Magic’s Torment did not disappoint. Magic and Laney have a secret and when it come to light it could be a death sentence. I loved Magic and Laney’s story. These two are great together. When a bigger secret comes to light their lives will change forever. I give this book a 5-star review and can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Wow! All of the stars available to this book, and so many more! I love Ciara St. James’ stories and I have claimed Reaper as my BBF, but Agony’s book was so much more than I was anticipating. This book was so worth the wait.

Agony is a man that loves to tease his friends in the Archangel’s Warriors about their women and trying to take them away, but when he is knocked down by a woman that is helping his grandmother, he’s left groveling to fix the mistake he made with her. He loves his grandmother and makes sure that she is well and taken care of properly. I mean who wouldn’t fall in love with a man like that?

Eliana loves to help others, she’s a Nurse Practitioner that works at a local clinic, but also works on the side with the native residents in the area. Agony’s grandmother is one of those patients and is finding that the medicine that Eliana gives her is really working, but Agony doesn’t believe that Eliana isn’t a charlatan. With Agony’s threat to move on and leave the good people of his town alone, Eliana’s life is up in the air and in danger.

I loved this book with all of my heart. Agony has so many sides and we get to see all of them in this book. Agony has always been the fun loving, flirting, sexy biker that is friends with the Archangel’s Warriors, but he is such a great character and so well written. I loved Agony and Eliana’s story and I love the characters in their story. These guys, like the other MC’s that are friends of the Pagan Souls of Cherokee MC, are protective, sexy, funny, and in need of a good soul mate to knock them on their keesters. Agony is the first to fall and I can’t wait to see the next in line to fall. I give this book a 5-star review and am looking forward to more reads from Ciara St. James.

After one of the worst, most terrifying nights of her life, Sage Quintano is told that her nightmare is over and that the man that took so much from her is dead, but is he really? It’s been eight years since Sage’s life was shattered and she was left in tatters. Now on the eighth anniversary of that night, she’s home with her toddler son and their two dogs, when her past seems to be sneaking in and leaving her terrified again. Sage’s husband, Sheriff Niko Quintano, doesn’t believe that the man that took so much from them eight years ago can be behind the clue left in their home. He was told that the man died in prison, but can he be sure of the report?

When a string of gruesome murders is discovered and clues are left behind, and Sage’s safety, freedom, and sanity are put in jeopardy, Sheriff Quintano has to start looking at things from his wife’s perspective, but he could be too late this time. Niko has a few insightful moments in this book, but his love, protectiveness and honor never waivers. He’s an officer that follows the leads and doesn’t jump to conclusions, he never waivers from his honor or loyalty to the job.

Sage Quintano is a favorite character of mine. She’s strong beyond belief, she’s determined, loving, smart, and an all-around great character. Her life as a mystery writer has helped her husband in solving murders and she’s found peace from her tragic past in her writing. She is a loving, caring, mother to Noah, her son, and Ruger and Colt, their two dogs that are more like their children. She is a powerful protector of her family and will put her life on the line for all of them. I loved this story, and although it reminded me that I should not read Sue Coletta’s books before going to bed, it was a great read and only left me wanting more of these characters. The danger, suspense, in depth information, and characters make this story a must read. I not only get a great story, but I learn so much from Sue’s books along the way. The strength and power of love Sage has for her family is wonderful. This story is tragic and haunting, with a bit of humor when Frankie is around, and it’s so worth the read. I give this book a 5-star review and can’t wait to read more of this series, or any book by Sue Coletta really.

WOW!! This was a raw, gritty, tragic read, but also a great read. A retelling of the Thin Man that sucked me in from the beginning and held me hostage until the very end. I loved the story and the characters.

Addy has lost everything in her life that mattered and is living with survivors’ guilt. She’s been remanded to Lakeridge Psychiatric Facility. She’s lost her autonomy, and her life is forfeit in the facility. She has no power over anything in life while she is there. She’s a loner and puts off an air of not caring about anyone or anything other than her puzzles. Is that healthy though, or more damaging to her mental health?

Dylan has been on a self-destructive course for years now. The drummer in popular rock band, he lives on drugs, alcohol, and women. When he is remanded to Lakeridge Psychiatric Facility by the courts to sober up or go to jail to finish out his time, he goes in thinking that his life will remain as it was on the outside, but his psychiatrist is not a push over, and she actually cares about her patients. She’s all about helping them heal and be the better option of themselves.

This story was tragic, emotional, haunting, raw, and yet it was a beautiful story of two people finding someone that cares enough to be their light and find a way to help the in being a better person and to heal the pain and tragedy the other has been through. I loved it! It was a mix of psychological thriller, romance, and legend. It has suspense, danger, and heat. I give this story a 5-star review and honestly, if it were possible, I would give it a ten-star review.

Once again Maggie Cole has written a suspense filled, edge of your seat story centered around the Moreno Mafia family in New York. The Moreno men are dark, ruthless, protective, and Alpha. They protect their family and those they deem family ruthlessly and tirelessly.

Tristano is the youngest and the one with the most personality. He loves hard and fights hard. He has never really noticed his brother, Dante’s assistant in any way except as a friend and trying to steal her away from Dante. However, one day while in a meeting, he sees Pena for the beautiful woman that she is and now he can’t seem to get her out his head.

Pena has worked for Dante Moreno since she was eighteen years old. She’s fought her way to the top and out of the trenches she lived in as a child. She has great parents, but they worked their fingers to the bone to try to provide for their family and now Pena has a life she always dreamed of. She has watched Tristano at the club, as a Dom, for years, and she has used his techniques while overpowering the powerful men that frequent the club. Can she let herself be overpowered by Tristano, or will they fight for dominance over each other.

I loved this story of friendship becoming so much more. The danger that Pena’s life is in just being a part of the Moreno world has snuck up on her and now she’s fighting for her life, but is what she’s living now her reality or is it the reality of the Moreno enemy? Can Tristano and the Moreno family save Pena before it’s too late? I loved the story of these two fighting for dominance and their power struggles were entertaining most of the time. I love Pena and this story showed so much more of her and her personality. She’s bigger than life and the perfect partner for Tristano. I can’t wait for more of the Mafia Wars New York series and Luca’s story. I give this book a 5-star review and am waiting patiently for more Maggie Cole stories to come.

Derange has been burned before, but Jezebelle is a woman that he can’t let go without a fight. He just needs to find it within himself to open up and trust her. He would do anything for Jezebelle and her son, Seth. He doesn’t realize that his walls being up and not opening up fully to her and Seth that he is hurting them both.

Jezebelle has her own demons that she is fighting, and she has her walls up as well. She doesn’t trust easily and her secrets from her past are buried deep, or so she thought. When. she finally opens up to Seth and Derange, it’s none too soon, because her past has caught up to her and it’s looking to suck her back in.

As I’ve said in other reviews for the RBMC, I love these books and Derange’s Destruction is no different. The story has action, suspense, hot, Alpha bikers, sassy, strong, independent women, and a lot of steam when these two get together. Derange has found his other half and he will go to any length to keep her and her son safe and protected. When Jezebelle’s past finds her and threatens her, Derange knows he has to protect her and if he has to claim her to do that, he will. He enlists the help of his brothers to hunt down the danger and eliminate it. He won’t let the pain of Jezebelle’s past come back and hurt her again. I love the characters and the stories of the RBMC, each chapter has their own troubles but as an overall MC, these brothers will come together for each other and to fight the Russian’s that threaten the innocent lives that they steal and traffic. All of the RBMC chapters are fighting the trafficking and will continue to do so as long as they have to. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more of the RBMC runs to come.
