Dark, gritty, sensual, and an overall great read.

The outcast Leone heir wants his revenge and he’s been planning it for a while now. When the opportunity comes, he will strike and strike hard. The problem is that once he has what he wants, his plans could go belly up. He’s been determined for two years to get what he wants and return to his rightful place, but now that he has his revenge piece his head and heart are starting to rebel against each other.

I loved this dark story of revenge turning into a touch her die story. Andre can’t resist the beauty and strength that is his new wife, and when she gives him what he wants, but for a price, he is not able to resist her conditions. He’ll do what he can to protect her and return to his place as the Leone Heir, but it could cost him more than he’s ready to give up.

I loved Ozzy and Freya’s story! It’s a great story of second chances and redemption of the love they once shared.

Ozzy gave up the only girl/woman he’s ever loved because he was told that she didn’t want anything to do with him. Freya left Shine, Massachusetts for a better life after she almost died, but her heart would never heal from the dismissal that she got from the boy she’s ever loved. They were both lied to by someone that should have tried to understand, but his power and the towns opinion let him deceive them both.

Now Freya is in danger and the only man that can protect her and keep her safe is the only man that she’s vowed to never see again. All because she believed that he gave up on her years ago. She’s not happy being back at The Black Roses MC compound, but what choice does she have? Her life’s work has put her in the line of fire and she won’t give up until she’s won her case. No matter the cost to her life.

I loved this story and I love the characters in The Black Roses MC series. This story was the one I was waiting for and it did not disappoint. Both Freya and Ozzy are stubborn, but when they finally start to communicate, they figure out that what they’ve both thought all these years was not the truth of how either feels about the other. Now they have a chance to rekindle their love and relationship, but they need to deal with the danger first.

I can’t wait for more from The Black Roses MC to come. Great characters and gritty stories!

He’s never seen himself with an Old Lady, but he’ll protect Tara with his claim. It doesn’t mean he has to really have an Old Lady, or does it.

When his brothers start questioning his claim he’ll have to do something to make sure that Tara is protected. Even if he’s afraid of what will happen. When Wrath finally comes to terms that his claim is real, his darkness starts to lift and the light starts to come in, all due to Tara.

This book was worth the wait to read. Wrath and Tara’s story was steamy, heart wrenching, and healing all in one. Wrath has demons and his life was not easy, but when he finally stops denying his feelings for Tara both of their lives turn around for the better.

I loved the book and I can’t wait for more of the Lotus MC Series to come.

I’m a huge fan of Marie James’ books and when she introduced Lindell, Texas I was excited for the series. She writes wonderful characters, gritty, but entertaining stories that pull you in from the beginning and holds on until the end of the book. You hate for it to end because you want so much more of the characters. Even when their story is done.

Back Against the Wall was no different. While it’s not a post military, black ops, or MC story, it has the wonderful characters that I love Marie James for as well as the fun small town of Lindell, Texas that knows everyone’s business and the meddling that goes along with that. The business names are funny, the towns folk are quirky, and nosey.

Chase and Madison have both returned home after moving away and starting their lives in larger towns. Now that their back home in their small home town of Lindell, they are under the scrutiny of the towns folk as well as their own parents. Chase came home to lick his wounds from a career that has ended as well as his marriage. With two young sons to raise and the hardware store his family has run for years, he has to find a way to make a new life, yet protect his sons from their mischief and curiosity. His father suggests hiring someone to help him with the boys and his suggestion is the girl that hates Chase, but he has no idea why.

Madison has lost everything she worked so hard for due to her choice in men. Now she’s home trying to restart her life and get back on her feet. However, her living conditions could be quieter but she’s unemployed, so she can’t get an apartment. Her choices are limited until she meets with Chase, the boy she hates that used to live next door growing up. She’s held a grudge for ten years, but that doesn’t mean she has to let him off the hook now.

I loved this story and the characters. It was funny, sad, and an enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read more of the Lindell Series to come.

I love the characters in this series and the stories themselves are wonderful. They are tragic, dark, and sometimes twisted, but that’s what makes them so wonderful for me. I love reading anything my Nikki Landis and watch for her books all the time. She’s a great author and story teller. I have a hard time putting her books down once I’ve started them and I hate to see them end. Don’t miss this 4th book in the Devil’s Murder MC, I have a feeling the next one will be just as good.
