After reading English at 3 Universities and graduating from none of them,
I set off travelling around the world with my wife, Ann, finally settling in
South Africa, where we still live.

In 2014 Ann dropped a rather large speaker on my head and I came up
with the idea for a detective series. DS Jason Smith was born. Smith, the
first in the series was finished a few months later.

3 years and 8 DS Smith books later, Joffe Books wondered if I would be
interested in working with them. As a self-published author, I agreed.
However, we decided on a new series – the DC Harriet Taylor: Cornwall
series.

The Beekeeper was published and soon hit the number one spot in
Australia. The second in the series, The Perfect Murder did just as well.
I continued to self-publish the Smith series and Unworthy hit the shelves
in 2018 with amazing results. I therefore made the decision to self-
publish The Backpacker which is book 3 in the Detective Harriet Taylor
series which was published in July 2018.

After The Backpacker I had an idea for a totally new start to a series – a
collaboration between the Smith and Harriet thrillers and The Enigma was
born. It brought together the broody, enigmatic Jason Smith and the
more level-headed Harriet Taylor.

The Miranda trilogy is something totally different. A psychological thriller
trilogy. It is a real departure from anything else I’ve written before.
The Detective Jason Smith series continues to grow. I also have another
series featuring an Irish detective who relocated to Guernsey, the
Detective Liam O’Reilly series. There are also 3 stand alone novels.

Another great story in the Jason Smith series. The team is put to the tests again and this time there are other issues going on with the team.

With the serial killer looming and keeping a list of how they’re doing on their murders, the team is working hard before the list ends and another life is taken. DS Smith has finally found a thread and they are following it, only to have it snapped again. Will they be quick enough to save a life, or will the killer claim another victim, one that’s known by the team and a colleague?

I always enjoy these books and this one was no different. It has the right amount of suspense, team work, great characters, and the ability for the characters to learn more about themselves, their colleagues, and the work that is needed to clear a case. The side stories are always interesting as well. This one brought information that looks to carry on to the next book. Which I cannot wait to read.

I was so happy to read Rush’s story. He has had a rough life and it made him doubt himself to much. He’s a loner, self-doubter, and a loveable character. I was so happy that Rush found someone that believes in him and is pushing him to open up and find a way to be who he was supposed to be.

Everly is woman that was raised by the VP of the South Carolina Chapter of The Fury Vipers MC. She’s strong, smart, and independent. When she finally confronts Rush on his lurking, and talks to him, she finds that she’s attracted to him and pushes him to admit why he keeps lurking and following her, other than to watch over her per his president’s orders.

I loved these characters and this chapter. Now I’m ready for somemore Fury Vipers MC in a new chapter to get to know and read.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

I was so excited to have Joel and Polly’s book. They are great characters and their chemistry is off the charts. I love that Joel is patient and shows Polly that he’s the staying kind, and I love how Polly was committed to Joel once she let him in.

This book is full of suspense, chemistry, and page turning danger, and twists. I love how Nyssa Kathryn writes her stories. They’re always a great read and the characters always stay with me after I read the books. The suspense, danger, and twists keep growing through each page. Just when I think I know who the bad guy/girl is, something else happens and makes me rethink my options. I love that Nyssa Kathryn keeps me on my toes trying to figure out who the person is wreaking all the havoc in this small town of Deep River.

I am anxious for more of this series and more information on town’s history and what happened over the years. I love the characters and their life stories as well as the what’s happening in Deep River and the towns people.

Great story and characters.

Ryan and Ivy are great. Ivy’s run in with Ryan though is not what she expected. When he blocks her from entering the bar to find her biological father, she is surprised to find out that Ryan wasn’t the only one blocking her way. He’s a triplet and luckily for her, there’s only two that are males and their other triplet is a woman.

Ryan “Nickle” Garrison doesn’t know why this woman is making him angry looking for Lark. He’s not a man that is looking for a relationship, but for some reason this woman, Ivy, is making him crazy. They have a bit of things to work on, but they’ll both find out that the reason they make each other crazy is due to the attraction.

I’m looking forward to the next book in the Next Generation Series, the characters are great and the books are action and suspense filled.

I’m not usually one to read romantasy stories, however, this book caught my eye and I’m glad it did. I really enjoyed the story, imagination of the author writing it and the characters.

The characters are well written and well developed. I loved Mara and her strength, her determination, and the kindness in her. She had a hard life, but she didn’t let it sour her or make her a mean person, she just decided to make her life what she could and do her best to be a kind human.

Her story was interesting to read and I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I hope her life continues to improve and her strength continues to grow and develop into the person she’s meant to be.

Another great story in the Satan’s Fury MC series. It has family drama, betrayal, secrets, and a found family that is always at your back.

This book was a page turner with a story that kept my interest from the very beginning. Goose and Presley have known each other since high school, but have never been friends. When Presley’s younger sister finds herself in trouble again, Presley is there to rescue her and keep her safe, but the sacrifice she has to make could be too large of a price.

I love the Satan’s Fury MC series and Goose is a great story that pulled me in from the beginning right through to the end. It was a hard read to put down and I can’t wait for more in the series.

MY REVIEW: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

This was a really good read. The story pulled me in from the start and held me until the end. It’s emotional, twisted, and a really good read. I have enjoyed The Royal Harlots MC books I’ve read so far and this book was no different. The women are tough, strong, independent, and just as dangerous as the men that they ride with. They aren’t afraid to stand up for those that need their help, and they don’t shy away from the danger that comes along with being in an MC.

Blaze has a lot to take in and process, it’s not easy and she finds herself in trouble by running her mouth and being stubborn, but when she finally see’s that she is strong and the people around her have her back she finds that peace she’s been looking for.

I enjoyed this story and give it 4 stars, I look forward to more of the RHMC and the RBMC from Thetta James.
