It’s a great start to a new series and great characters by Laramie Briscoe!

Boone is convinced he’ll be a bachelor for life, but fate has other plans for him. He’s just not ready for the woman that pops into his life, but it doesn’t take a lot of convincing for him to make a move.

Alexis is an independent young lady that has just graduated from college and is working two jobs to pay her bills. She can’t seem to catch a break on a job. Every place she applies that will let her use her college degree by passes her and denies her a job. Now she has to work in the family business and at the local lumber yard where she has to deal with rude, unpredictable customers on a daily basis and she’s not sure how much longer she’ll last.

She’s noticed the sexy contractor that has come into the lumber yard and the bar, but she knows he’s out of her league and she’s not as experienced as him, so doesn’t have a chance. However, when he starts flirting with her she’s not going to let the opportunity pass her by, so she starts flirting back and it pays off.

I enjoyed this story and I look forward to more to come.
