My Review of Clint & Ivy (Crimson Guard MC, Book 1) by Bijou Hunter

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐✨ 3.5 out of 5

Book one of the Crimson Guard MC was a good read. It was a bit hard to believe in a few spots, but it has a good story and great characters. The easy way these two seem to trust each other so quickly was the hard to believe spots for me. I understand the quick connection some might have when meeting someone, but with her background and his lifestyle, it seemed awful quick to me.

With that being said, I enjoyed Clint and Ivy’s story and the surrounding characters and storyline that came with them. I haven’t read the books prior to this series, that are included in this book, but it was not distracting to me at all. I liked how patient Clint is with Ivy, and how he treats her with respect and kindness. Ivy’s quickness to want to keep Clint close and her questioning of what will happen when he leaves was believable. With someone coming from her background, she would be warry to let him go. She’s naive her in thinking due to her background, but she seems to catch on quickly to what is going on around her.

I enjoyed the book and I look forward to the next one in this series. I give this book a 3.5 star review.

My 5 ⭐ Review of The Silencer: Houlihan Men of Dublin, Book 3 by Brooke Summers #TuesdayBookBlog

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

Wow!! I love all of the stories I’ve read in the Houlihan Men of Dublin, The Fury Vipers MC, Fury Vipers MC, Dublin, Made: Mafia Romance Series, and the Gallo Famiglia books, but I think The Silencer might be my favorite yet!

It’s tragic, twisted, dark, and a wonderful story. I couldn’t put it down. The characters as always are great, the women are always strong, independent, and can hold their own, but when they find the person that completes them, they become stronger and dangerous. I loved Clodagh and her strength that was able to shine through when Emmanuel showed her that he was in fact interested in her for more than how their pasts intertwined.

I loved the story and the characters and can’t wait to read the next book The Thief.

THE SATAN’S KEEPERS MC IS BACK! Cerberus’s Branding by E.C. Land is now live!! #TuesdayBookBlog

https://geni.us/Cerberus

She left years ago. Now she’s back.

Cerberus

No one told me she was coming back and setting eyes on her, I knew something was different. She was hiding something. What that is, I’m not sure, but I want to know. She’d been mine years ago and I let her go. I wasn’t ready to make her mine and I lost her. With her back home, she’s where she belongs.

Only she came home during a time when we’re in the middle of a war. Taken from us, we’ll do what it takes to get her back. When we do, I’ll find out what’s going on with her. Then I’ll brand her as mine, and this time I won’t lose her again.

She’s mine. Always has been. Always will be. To hell what anyone else says about it.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

Cerberus and Ember have a second chance, but he has to get her to listen to him and let him explain about their past.

I loved this story and I love the characters in this series. Cerberus and Ember were great! I enjoyed getting the back story and how each thought about what happened in their past. The way that Cerberus cares about Ember is wonderful. Her strength shows after what she’s been through, but the danger lurking around them is not good.

I loved the story and I’ve loved the characters in this series since the beginning. I can’t wait to read more to come in the Satan’s Keepers MC.

Review – Cartel Cobra (Esteban): The Cartel Brotherhood – Book .05; Morally Gray Kingpins, by Sabine Barclay

My Review -⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

Great story in this series. I loved Esteban and Luciana.

Great characters and a great story. I loved how Esteban wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted even though it was dangerous. It was great meeting the characters more in detail and the chemistry between them. It was an enlightening story, bringing the characters in the series to life and giving the reader the full story. I loved it! I can’t wait for more in this series.

My Review of Scornful (Raiders of Valhalla: New Blood #2) by Elizabeth Knox 5 ⭐’s!

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

I loved Geirholf and Astrid.

When Geirholf see’s Astrid in the back parking lot of the bar with a man that is in her face and looks to be threatening, he finds himself moving that way as fast as possible. He’ll protect her and show her how a man should treat a woman.

Astrid’s brother’s and father may have other ideas about her and Geirholf being together, but she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and her choices.

I love the characters in this series and the stories are always great to read. I look forward to the next book in the series and how the characters will prove their independence and choices.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐✨ 3.5 out of 4

A good start to the NY KOAMC. It started off with a bang and then slowed down a bit, but it was a good read. I do wish there had been a little more about Shotgun telling his club about his feelings though.

As always with Bosco’s characters, they were interesting to get to know and read about. The love and affection the men of the chapter have for the kids and Jade shows throughout the book and she feels as though they are family as well. I enjoyed the start of this chapter and look forward to more of the characters and their books to come.

It’s time for another Saint’s Outlaws new release! Elizabeth Knox’s newest release,  Ruger’s Rage is now live! I gave it 4 ⭐’s

https://geni.us/RugersRageENSOMC

Blurb:

Her scars make her beautiful. My rage makes her safe.

Ruger

The moment I laid eyes on Tildie—the most luscious curvy bartender in town—I knew she’d be mine.

As President of Saint’s Outlaws MC, I’ve built my reputation on protecting what belongs to me. And from the second I saw Tildie nervously tucking that strand of hair behind her ear, something primal inside me claimed her.

She’s got secrets. Demons that haunt her. And an ex who wants her back.

Too f****ing bad.

Because I’ve spent my life dealing with men who think they can take what’s mine. Her ex doesn’t know it yet, but he’s already a dead man walking.

Tildie thinks she’s broken beyond repair, but she hasn’t seen what happens when a man like me decides to fight for what he wants.

I’ll tear apart anyone who tries to hurt her—even if I have to choke the life from them with my bare hands.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

Ruger’s had a lot to deal with in his life, and now that he’s an adult and the VP of the Saint’s Outlaws MC, Morgantown, his life has gotten more complicated. The SOMC, Morgantown has had their fare share of trouble, but when he’s woken late at night from someone pounding on his door, he knows that his life will be more complicated in the hours to come.

I really liked this book. I love Ruger and his loyal brothers. This chapter has a lot to deal with and even three years later they have to watch their backs. Never knowing when they’ll be struck by revenge.

I loved the characters in the Morgantown chapter and look forward to more of this chapter’s books to come. My only complaint is that this chapter seems to be fighting their battles alone when there are other chapters of the SOMC that could help them out.

It’s time for another Saint’s Outlaws new release – Summer Winters’  Chicago, Chapter,  Falcon’s Fury is now live!  I give it 3.5 ⭐’s

https://geni.us/FFSWSOMCCC

I’m used to pulling broken women out of hellholes.
What I’m not used to… is one of them being the woman who broke me.

Five years ago, Cara vanished without a trace. No goodbye. No explanation. Just gone.
I buried her memory and focused on my club—the Saints Outlaws—and our mission to take down the trafficking rings infecting Chicago.

But during a brutal raid, I find her again.
Beaten. Traumatized. Clinging to me like I’m the only thing keeping her alive.

She says she didn’t leave me.
She says she was taken.

Now I’m torn between everything I feel for her… and everything I still don’t know.
She’s back, and I don’t know if I should push her away or pull her closer.
But one thing’s certain—this fight is bigger than both of us.

Because the warehouse we raided?
It was just the beginning.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐✨ 3.5 out of 5

While I really liked the characters, the plot and the story, I felt that there were some things there were mentioned at the beginning and then became lost throughout the remainder of the book. I enjoyed the story and it has great characters, but there were some turns that started out and then ended with the first part of the book. With that being said, I would like to read more of this chapter throughout the series.

I would like to see a little more of other the SOMC chapters included as well. This book seemed as though this chapter was completely on their own when there are other chapters that could have helped them. I do look forward to the next book though.

My 5⭐ Review of Preacher – Satan’s Fury MC, Little Rock, Book 5 by L. Wilder @wilder_leslie

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5

Preacher has been fighting to stay away from his first wife because he knows they’re toxic together, but she’s also familiar and he still has feelings for her, maybe not love, but she is the mother of his first born.

Tabitha Volkov has lived her tragic past and has finally found a way to move on and have the life she’s always wanted. Her sons are near, she’s out of the hands of her late husband that, and she has the ranch she’s always wanted. However, danger is still lurking and has her in it’s sights again.

Preacher and Tabitha are perfect together. She knows his life and how things go and is the perfect Ol’ lady for the president. I loved this story and Preacher’s might be my favorite so far in this series. I’ve loved all of the Satan’s Fury MC stories and characters and Preacher’s story was a great addition.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

College can be a time of awakening and finding one’s self. It is also a time for reflection and redemption for Kellan Cooper. After losing the woman the thought he would marry during his freshman year, Kellan has been on a spiral and hasn’t found a way out.

Until one night at a party that he attended with a team mate. Sitting by himself reflecting on everything that happened the prior year, Kellan finds himself in a dark place again and instead of sitting around at a party he’s ready to head home. However, it seems that someone has other plans for him, is it fate or karma?

I enjoyed reading this second book in the Walker University series, I like the characters and the story was a good read. Kellan and Cora had good chemistry and the progression of Kellan’s character was good to see. He was able to step back and see how he had been before and was ready to change his ways and his life to be a better person for Cora.

Cora was able to stand on her own and had the backing of Kellan to tell her brother and mom that she had different plans for her life than they were pushing her into. I look forward to more of these books and the characters from them getting their stories.
