This story is a story of second chance romance with a new romantic interest, a sexy, sassy redhead, and a sexy Nashville singer who is stuck in his past.

Dorothy “Liz” Elizabeth Prudence is a sexy, funny, sassy redheaded nurse who is afraid of commitment. She has her best friend from birth who is always there to help her out of the bad decisions she makes. They are late 20-year old’s who still enjoy going out on the town and having fun and finding trouble to cause. Luckily for them, Liz’s best friend, Jess’ husband is always close by to keep them from too much trouble, listen to their crazy antics, and be the sound of reason for both of them. These two are crazy, funny, and very close.

Jason Jones is a Nashville singer who is stuck in his past. He works as a barista during the day and sings at bars during the nights. He is working as a barista to get experience for his own business. His best friend, Deuce, his ugly dog, live in a nice house outside of town. Deuce is Jason’s only consistency in his life. Jason is compassionate, sexy, and working very hard to find a new normal and move on with his life, but he needs some closure before that can happen, but one night with a sexy redhead may be his chance to move on.

I really liked this story. I laughed at the antics of Liz and Jess and how Jason described his past experience with a redhead. I loved chapter 8 and was glad I was home alone reading this section because it had me laughing so hard out loud that I had tears in my eyes. I also love the Spotify playlist for this story. I’m a redhead and some of the antics and comments about redheads were pretty spot on. My husband has made the comment about crazy redheads to me as well. I give this book a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who are looking for a laugh out loud read with some angst and crazy women. This was my first read by Kat Addams, but it will not be my last, I’m going to one-click Grit and Grind to read as well.

Shawnee Seymour has had a rough time in the past year that she has to overcome, but nothing compared to what she will have to overcome in the near future, her past. A history that she really thought she wouldn’t have to face again. Will things turn out differently this time?

I really enjoyed reading this story. The suspense, danger, and intensity of this story kept the pages turning and my hope for a reconciliation kept my interest until the end. I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy reading second chance romance, stories with surprises, suspense and heat.

Wow, I have to say this was my favorite book so far in this series. This story was full of secrets, suspense, intrigue, and Alpha males who try to control the strong, sassy independent women in their lives.

Anaya is keeping a huge secret from her family. When the only man she ever loved dejects her, she decides to leave Vegas and live her life in shadows.

Adrian is an exceptionally gifted hacker and agent for the CIA, he is undercover working on a very dangerous case and has to make contact with an agent from a private group that is trying to get into the scene he’s working on to bring them down. Only this agent could get Adrian made and get them both killed because he will do anything to protect this person.

I loved the secrets, intensity and heat in this story. Everything unfolded perfectly and had me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to know what was going to happen and how things would end. I was in no way disappointed. While all of the Lykaios brothers are hot and very Alpha, their little sister Anaya can’t bring the heat as well.  I give this story a 5-star review and recommend you read the entire Gods of Vegas Series as soon as possible.

This book was reminiscent of Frozen to an extent, but it definitely isn’t my granddaughters Frozen.

Two young sisters are left home alone while their parents travel. They’re the daughters of the King of the Norta Icelands, King Whitestone. Elzira is the oldest and next in line for the throne. Yanna is the youngest Elzira’s half-sister, but she’ll protect her with her life. King Whitestone’s army, the Eyes of the White will protect them both from the Easta, Westa,and the Souta, as well as the damned. Queen Whitestone can control the weather, but her powers are weakening.

King Ryke Bloodsun of the Souta has headed Norta to meet with Queen Whitestone to join their lands and marry the Princess to accomplish that. However, he’s not prepared for what he finds when he arrives. King Bloodsun can control fire and is known as a Volc because he comes from the land of the Volcanos.

I really enjoyed this story. It is dark but it was a quick paced story with a lot packed into it. This story is full of deceit, tragedy, heat, and redemption. I love how it covered so much of the lives of the King and Queen as well as the strength and power of the Queen once she was shown how she was being deceived by those she cared about and trusted. These two are much more powerful together and kick some serious bad guys keesters. I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to readers who like PNR, dark stories, with some seriously strong women.

Onyx is the VP of the American Street Kings and he has come to a time where he has to step up to the plate and take over for his brother Granite as the President if the club wants to move on and heal from all of the damage and devastation they’ve gone through recently, and from the death of their father, sand previous president of the MC. Coming to terms with the direction the MC needs to go for the future of the club will be a hard step for Onyx, but he knows that he really has no choice. To honor his brother’s word to The Pythons and their president, Slither, he has to take his seat at the head of the table.

I read this book in one day and loved every page I read. This is a dark story of tragedy and finding one’s real strength and heart. I give it a 4.5-star review and encourage you to read it, if you like dark romance, you will love this story. Just be forewarned that this book does have triggers and could be offensive to some readers. I love dark stories, and this was very dark. You really need to read this series in order to understand what’s going on, so pick up Depraved and Defiant before you read this book.

I love the Satan’s Knights MC books and Shifting Gears did not disappoint.

Lydia Gallo is a woman hiding from her past and the biggest mistake of her life. If she could overcome the pain and hurt, she could what she’s always wanted in life, but it’s hard to do after what she’s gone through. Now she just wants to go to work, do her job and keep her head down. However, when the one-night stand she had awhile back shows back up in the bar and she’s told he may be staying, her world is turned upside down.

Jake “Bash” Alfonsi needs a change of scenery and to get away from the pain of loss he’s feeling. His time in New York working with the Satan Knights gives him the opportunity to do just that. Being a prospect for the Charon MC in Texas for two years has him looking at his life and wondering if there isn’t more for him out there. His friendship with Riggs of the Satan Knight’s, has him wondering if he might find that in NY.

Bash and Lydia’s story was interesting, and I love these two. They’ve both had some rough patches in their lives, but they can both have what they’ve been looking for if they can trust each other and open up their hearts to let someone in. These had me crying and laughing. They’re perfect for each other and they each bring out the best in each other. I loved their story and I give this book a 4.5-star review. If you haven’t read any of the Satan Knights stories, you really need to. They’re funny, sad, dangerous, and crazy!
