There are usually plenty of bodies through these books, but they are fun reads mainly due to the great
characters. The storylines are usually nasty and twisted, and goodness knows where Stewart gets his

After reading English at 3 Universities and graduating from none of them,
I set off travelling around the world with my wife, Ann, finally settling in
South Africa, where we still live.
In 2014 Ann dropped a rather large speaker on my head and I came up
with the idea for a detective series. DS Jason Smith was born. Smith, the
first in the series was finished a few months later.
3 years and 8 DS Smith books later, Joffe Books wondered if I would be
interested in working with them. As a self-published author, I agreed.
However, we decided on a new series – the DC Harriet Taylor: Cornwall
series.
The Beekeeper was published and soon hit the number one spot in
Australia. The second in the series, The Perfect Murder did just as well.
I continued to self-publish the Smith series and Unworthy hit the shelves
in 2018 with amazing results. I therefore made the decision to self-
publish The Backpacker which is book 3 in the Detective Harriet Taylor
series which was published in July 2018.
After The Backpacker I had an idea for a totally new start to a series – a
collaboration between the Smith and Harriet thrillers and The Enigma was
born. It brought together the broody, enigmatic Jason Smith and the
more level-headed Harriet Taylor.
The Miranda trilogy is something totally different. A psychological thriller
trilogy. It is a real departure from anything else I’ve written before.
The Detective Jason Smith series continues to grow. I also have another
series featuring an Irish detective who relocated to Guernsey, the
Detective Liam O’Reilly series. There are also 3 stand alone novels.

Another great story in the Detective Jason Smith series. This book has a couple of really great twists that surprised me. I love a story that keeps me on the edge of my seat and my mind engaged in trying to figure out the who done it of a mystery, police procedural story, and Stewart Giles is great at doing that with his Detective Jason Smith books.

Detective Jason Smith is a talented and smart detective that won’t stop searching for the truth or answers until he has solved a crime he is investigating. He’s like a dog with a bone when he starts looking for answers and his wife and sometimes partner in the cases, is a great person for him to bounce his ideas off of. I love Detective Smith and his team of investigators, as well as his boss DI Smythe. The men and women work tirelessly to find the killers and bring them to justice. It’s a team effort, but Detective Smith seems to be the person that always has ideas of where to go next or who to bring in to help solve the crimes. I love these stories and while this is book #30 in the series, I hope there will be many more to come.

Ghost is focused on the club and his life in the club. He has a rough past. When his president tells him he’s in charge of the woman and her kid to be sure they are safe and protect them, he can’t help but find himself falling for them both. Now he’ll do anything to protect them and make sure that no harm comes to them again.

I loved this story and as always, the characters in the Satan’s Fury MC are great. This was a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to read more of them.

I am so excited for this new MC world and the Las Vegas Chapter by Nikki Landis to come out next year. My Christmas Biker was a great prequel for this new series and I loved the characters we were introduced to so far in the Las Vegas Chapter of the Saint’s Outlaws MC.

Ginger may be young, but she’s a young woman that knows her mind and what she wants to make of her life. When she’s thrust back into her tragic past, her savior is a man that she may not remember right off, but when she does, her world seems to even out on it’s axis for her.

I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the Las Vegas Saint’s Outlaws and what happens going forward with this chapter and these characters. Nikki Landis is one of my all time, favorite, one-click authors and to have her write a new MC with more awesome authors is exciting, and I’m excited to see where this MC world will take us as readers.

Grace—

The grump and the nanny.

Grace is a woman that is kindhearted, and lives her life from day to day and paycheck to paycheck. She may need the money, but when she sees someone in need, she’s there to help, even if she does something that makes her lose her job.

Lucky has two little girls and he needs a nanny, but he’s either scared them off or didn’t find others appropriate to help him with his girls. The Holidays are not the best time of year for Lucky, but when he hires Grace and she transforms his home and brings a smile to his daughters’ faces, he can’t deny that she may be the right woman to help him raise his daughters.

This was a tragic story with a very happy ending, of two people finding each other when they both really needed the other. Grace finds a family and Lucky is brought back to the living with his daughters and family. I loved it and I look forward to more of Nicole James’ MC stories in my future.

Riley

My sister kept her baby daddy a secret, but I have my suspicions and won’t stop until I find her and my nephew. I don’t know exactly who I’m looking for, but I know where he is – the Rebel Vipers MC clubhouse – I hope.

I loved this story of the biker and the secret.

Riley asked her sister the name of her babies father, but she refused to share it with her. So Riley didn’t press any longer. However, things come out when Riley finds that her sister has been hiding more than her baby’s daddy name, and she’s found herself in danger. Riley gets the surprise of her life when she comes home after work one night to an empty house.

Tiny has no idea of the secrets that have been kept from him, but when he is presented with a small bundle and a note, he’s smitten right away and very protective as well. When a woman shows up and tries to claim the bundle, he knows right away that she’s going to be part of his life too.

I loved this inclusion to the Rebel Vipers MC series, and I loved Riley and Tiny. I want more of the Rebel Vipers now too.

I loved this story of the biker and the baker. It was an easy read and I loved the characters.

Snow runs her own bakery and works tirelessly to ensure her customers are happy and get what they order on time and done to her standards, which are very high. When she notices the biker that moved in across from her, she has a hard time keeping her mind and her eyes on her baking and her work.

Bones noticed the beauty across the street not long after moving into the neighborhood, he even made some adjustments to the garage to accommodate his curiosity to watch her while she was unaware. He has his own business that he runs from his home and it’s working on bikes, this gives him the perfect opportunity to watch Snow and her helper when they aren’t paying attention, or are they?

I love the story and the characters. Bones and Snow are a great couple and the fact that he was willing to do whatever it took to help her out when she least expected it and when she needed it most, was perfect. I’m enjoying reading the stories in the Thirteen Bikers For Christmas. It has a great group of authors and some wonderful stories. I’m looking forward to reading them all.
