Basilio DiLustro is the son of the leader of the Syndicate. He’s preparing to take his father’s place, him, his sister, and his cousins are putting themselves in line to be able to take their fathers’ place in the Syndicate. However, Basilio’s father Gio is still in charge, and he is a cruel man and has no plans on giving up his seat anytime soon. Basilio does not want to rule the same way as his father and has plans to work with the Irish Mafia to bring peace between the two families. Basilio has no clue what the war between the families is from, but he wants peace, and he plans to make a plan with Liam Brennan to bring that peace. He was not prepared for the woman that landed in his arms the night he was planning to meet with Liam, and he had no idea who she was, but he couldn’t get her out of his mind.

Wynter Star has been kept away from her uncle’s dealings. She knows that he runs the Brennan Mafia family, but he has always protected her and her cousin and worked to keep them away from his business. The girls are spoiled to a point, but they were also sheltered all their lives. Wynter’s life centers around her ice skating and the Olympics that she is working to get to. Her mother is her coach and avoids New York like she’ll get the plague if she goes there. Wynter has no idea why, but she knows that her mother won’t go there. Wynter, her cousin Juliette, and their college friends spend a lot of time in New York visiting Juliette’s father. One night will change their lives forever.

I love this story, the girls are reckless, determined, and always find themselves in some kind of trouble. They will try the patience of Liam Brennan and all of his associates and friends. I love the characters and the story. I loved the prequel of this series and couldn’t wait for this story. It was not a disappointment. The other stories are going to be great as well. I can’t wait to read all of them. There are a lot of twists in this story and a lot of secrets will come to light in this story. The secrets could be destructive, but they can also open up so much for these characters. I am looking forward to more of this series and give this book a 5-star review.

She was broken, damaged beyond repair after she returned home from the tragic time she was held captive. Beth couldn’t seem to move on like the other women held by the Williams brothers. Her parents didn’t understand what she was going through, but they loved her and only wanted to help her get better and back to the young woman she was prior to her abduction, but that could not happen. She was changed forever and there was no going back to the woman she was. She couldn’t talk about what happened to her with her parents because she was protecting them from the ordeal. She didn’t want them to suffer with her.

He and his team made it their mission to rescue and bring home as many girls, boys, women, or men that were taken and being sold or help captive. It wasn’t a fun job by any means, but they were determined to do what they could to rid the world of the dark, dirty, cruel people that kidnapped, sold, bought, or abused these people. When they got a hit about one of the women that had been taken by the Williams brothers being in danger again, Jake is determined to find out if she is still safe and protect her at any cost, he just didn’t expect that she would turn his world upside down in the process.

I really like this book, it is dark and tragic, but on another level, it is a beautiful story of finding that one person that understands you and takes you as you are, no misconceptions, wanting to change you, or looking at you like you are crazy. Jake helped Beth come out of the darkness she was drowning in, and he and his team treated her like a woman that was living her life but protecting her in the process. They didn’t treat her like glass ready to break at any moment. This was the first book I read in the Beth Series, but I will go back and read the first one and I am looking forward to reading the next one. I loved the characters and the story. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more.

He wanted nothing to do with his father anymore and vowed he’d find a life somewhere else. He also left the only woman he loved, but it was for the best. However, when his best friend is declared dead, he along with his other Delta Force teammates travel to Lindeman, WA to pay their last respects. When Jackson see’s River, his best friend’s younger sister again after sixteen years, he knows he can’t stick around too long. The old feelings for her are resurfacing, but will he leave her to her own fate when she digs for answers to her brother’s death?

River knows there’s more to the story of her brother’s death, but she doesn’t believe he’s gone. She will dig for answers and the truth, but she’ll find more danger than she bargained for. Stubborn, loyal, and determined, River will find the answers she’s looking for, but too many are telling her that Ryker is really dead, and that truth could destroy her more than the danger lurking.

I loved this story of young love, separation, and second chance at finding happiness. Jackson and River were meant for each other, and they deserve to be happy together. Both stubborn and determined, they will have to find a common ground to their past and move forward to be happy. When River’s life is threatened, Jackson steps up to protect her and keep her safe, but his feelings for her never wavered. He’s still in love with her and their story isn’t over. It took me a chapter to realize where I knew these Delta Forces characters from, but once I did things fell into place for me. The only thing I was waiting for was the appearance of Mila and then Blake and the Blue Halo guys. However, they didn’t show. The café scene was what made me think of them showing. In all the book was great, and I can’t wait to read more from the Mercy Ring Series to come. I give this book a 5-star review.

Crow is just returning home after a tragic loss to the MC and his family. He was a nomad moving around and then was called home to take his place as President of the Devil’s Murder MC, where he belongs. He’s also coming home to repair the broken club and make it what it was and what it should be. There’s more to the Devil’s Murder MC than most know and they are an MC to be wary of.

Bella is a bar tender at the local bar that Crow’s father’s best friend owns. She’s in need of help and is in danger. She’s looking for her sister and is being manipulated in order to get her back. Can she go through with the demands the kidnappers are making or will she reveal all to Crow and ask for his help?

Let me start by saying I love anything by Nikki Landis. Her stories always pull me in from the beginning and holding me hostage until the end. Crow: Devil’s Murder MC was no different. I loved the characters and the story, and I cannot wait to read more of this series. I loved Crow and Bella. They are both strong, determined, and lost. They fit well together, and the MC has their backs no matter what. I was excited when reading this book and things began sound a bit familiar from the RBMC Tonopah, NV chapter. I look forward to more of the Devil’s Murder MC in the future, and pretty much any book by Ms. Landis. I give this book a steamy 5-star review and if I could give more, I would.
