He was a man that always seemed to be on the outside looking in. He’s finally found an MC where he feels comfortable and that they could be his family, but his blood family has made it impossible for Core to relax and enjoy his life or make a place for himself. He’s betrayed the Kings of Vengeance and has put a target on his back, but he’s doing it for a good reason.
She’s the bartender and friends with one of the ol’ ladies of the Kings of Vengeance. She’s pulled into their craziness by association. When she finds out that one of the brothers has betrayed the MC and now has a target on his back, she torn because she likes him, but she’s loyal to her friend and wants nothing to do with being the in middle of trouble. Robyn wants to remain loyal to Lynn, but she gets pulled into Core’s world more and more because now she has real feelings for him.
This is book 8 in the Kings of Vengeance and these bikers are dangerous, but their women drive them crazy with their book club and their craziness and their sassy mouths. When Robyn is put in the middle of her friends and the man that she wants, she has to make a decision and pray that it doesn’t come back to bite her in the end. When the danger comes knocking, Robyn does not run away, she stands by the man that is becoming very important to her and she won’t back down when she tries to get the Kings to listen to him before they shoot him. I really enjoyed this book and Core and Robyn’s story. Core has been in the series since the beginning and has been a character that has been iffy since the beginning, but learning his story brings perspective to him and I really enjoyed reading about him finally finding his path and his place in the club. I give the book a 4-star review and I am looking forward to more of the Kings of Vengeance Series to come.
