I lost everything years ago. My brother. My family. Everything that ever meant anything to me.

Now the Lords of Carnage are my life. Anything I need, the club provides. Anything else is unimportant.

At least, thatโ€™s what I tell myself until I meet Samantha.

She stirs something inside me I havenโ€™t felt for years.
Back when I had hope.
Back when I thought life would give you what you asked for if you wanted it bad enough.

Wanting is dangerous. Iโ€™ve learned that lesson.
But when I look in those deep brown eyes, I want Samantha.
I want to possess every inch of her body.
To hear her call my name when she loses herself in pleasure.

If I was smart, Iโ€™d push her the hell away. Do anything to make her hate me.

But Iโ€™ll never stop until I have her. Even if it destroys us both.

HAWK is a scorching-hot, completely stand-alone romance in the Lords of Carnage MC series. HAWK has NO cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA!

My โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Review of Alphaโ€™s Mission (A Special Forces Shifter Romance) by Renee Rose & Lee Savino

Charlie

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ 5 out of 5

Charlie has had to live in the shadows for several years now. His own mother thinks heโ€™s dead. When he needs help tracking down some information, he goes to the only person he trusts, his handler, Annabel. He has a secret that he canโ€™t let out and itโ€™s hard to work with Annabel without her knowing what he is or who he is because his feelings for her are changing daily. He will protect her and kill for her, but she has no idea of that.

Annabel is Charlieโ€™s handler, but sheโ€™s never worked in the field as an agent, sheโ€™s a desk agent and a nerd. Sheโ€™s very well versed in hacking and getting information that has been hidden or is supposed to be kept hidden. After she helped Charlie with a personal matter, he promised to help her if she ever needed him. Well, it just so happens that she needs him now, but neither one of them are aware of the danger she has put herself in with her snooping. At least not yet.

These two are explosive when they come together. I donโ€™t read a lot of paranormal stories as they arenโ€™t always up my alley for genre, but it seems that when I do read one, it blows me away. I loved this story, the plot, the characters, the story line, all of it was entertaining, intriguing, and an awesome read. I give this story a 5-star read and highly recommend it to readers that are looking for some spice, a look into paranormal, or if you like undercover agents, strong women, or Alpha men. It was a great read and I couldnโ€™t put it down until the end of the book once I started reading it. I will be reading more of this series and I look forward to it.

Title: TNT
Series: Reed Security Series
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 18, 2020

After walking into his girlfriend’s house and finding her murdered, Tony is struggling to get back to normal. Everyone’s looking at him like he’s damaged, but they don’t know the truth. And when they find out, they won’t ever look at him the same again. But a one night stand changes everything. Suddenly, everyone at Reed Security is trying to set Tony up with this crazy woman that can’t cook, shows up at his work, and calls him at all hours of the night. He doesn’t want to hurt her, but how long is a man supposed to go along with a crazy person that thinks there’s a relationship where there isn’t one?

After meeting Tony one night, Molly knows without a doubt that he’s the man for her. He’s everything she’s been waiting for, and she’s not going to let this opportunity slip through her fingers. She knows that he’s slightly damaged and dealing with a lot, but with a little encouragement from Tony’s teammates, she refuses to let him push her away. She has a whole arsenal of tips and tricks to keep a man’s attention, and with her momma’s advice and her best friend’s help, there’s no way she’ll fail. Now she just has to make Tony see that what they have is forever.
โ€œUhโ€ฆyou know, this isnโ€™t working,โ€ I said briskly.

She tilted her head, all cute like and looked at me in confusion. โ€œWhat do you mean?โ€

โ€œUsโ€ฆwhatever this is. Itโ€™s not going to work. Youโ€™re nice and all, but itโ€™s just not working.โ€

I waited for the tears and the drop of her face. I braced myself for the yelling and name-calling. But no matter how much I steeled myself for her reaction, I just wasnโ€™t ready for what she actually said.

โ€œHmmm. Well, I appreciate your input, but I think itโ€™s going good. Pop tarts?โ€

โ€œWhat?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m sticking some in the toaster. Want some?โ€

I blinked several times, shook my head, and even slapped my own face, but nothing changed. She was still standing in front of me, asking me if I wanted fucking pop tarts after I just broke up with her. She actually refused to break up with me. Could that really happen? Did I not get a say in this? And if so, was I destined to just be with her the rest of my life? Iโ€™d never been in this position before. Iโ€™d never had a woman refuse to let me break up with her. What was the protocol for this? Did I just go along with it? Maybe I should just not return her calls. Of course, that hadnโ€™t really worked so far. She always showed up, with food.

โ€œHoney?โ€ She quirked her head to the side and smiled sweetly at me. โ€œPop tarts?โ€

Shaking my head, I tried again. โ€œIโ€™m serious, Molly. Iโ€™m breaking up with you. I donโ€™t want to be with you anymore. Itโ€™s been fun, but letโ€™s just end this now.โ€

โ€œI hear you. I really do, and while I think you make some not very valid points, Iโ€™m going to pretend like what you said makes total sense. But weโ€™re not breaking up. Youโ€™re just freaking out and you want to end this before it gets too real. I get it, but weโ€™re still not breaking up.โ€

And with that, she turned around and left the room. I stared at the floor, trying to figure out what to do next. How the fuck had this happened? Was I being too sweet? I mean, I was never too sweet. I was never that guy that women felt they could walk all over. Yet, here I was, standing alone in my pretend girlfriendโ€™s bedroom as she walked out after telling me we were not breaking up.

This was not happening. She couldnโ€™t make me stay with her. She couldnโ€™t force me to date her. I wasnโ€™t some chump. I was Tony-fucking-Tacos. I groaned and rolled my eyes at myself. I was not Tony Tacos. I was something much cooler. I wasnโ€™t even Mexican, and if I was honest with myself, I didnโ€™t even like tacos all that much. Not that I would tell Molly that. She had been really sweet yesterday, bringing me food at work because she thought tacos were my favorite.

I cursed myself for thinking of her as sweet when I was trying to break up with her. Damnit, I would not be forced to date a woman that I really liked. Fuck, I was screwed. I marched into the kitchen and slapped my hand down on the countertop.

โ€œListen, Molly, this is over between us. Iโ€™m not going to let you tell me that weโ€™re not breaking up, because we are so breaking up. Iโ€™m walking out that door and you will not follow me. You will not bring me food at work, and you will not call me later tonight to ask where I am. Do you know why?โ€

She smiled at me. โ€œBecause you think weโ€™re breaking up.โ€

โ€œYes. No!โ€ I shouted. โ€œI donโ€™t think weโ€™re breaking up. We are in actuality breaking up. Itโ€™s for sure. Not a possibility or a probability. We are one hundred percent broken up, as of right now,โ€ I said, punctuating the statement by punching the counter with my pointer finger.

She nodded, her eyes wide with a very serious expression on her face. โ€œI hear you. I want you to know that I really do hear you, but itโ€™s just not possible for us to break up. We have that dinner with Momma and Daddy tomorrow, and they already planned dinner. Momma did all her shopping and got everything we could possibly need for your favorite dinner.โ€

โ€œWhat dinner?โ€ I asked hesitantly.

โ€œTacos,โ€ she grinned.

โ€œFucking hell,โ€ I said, throwing my hands up in the air. โ€œIโ€™m not even fucking Mexican!โ€

I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.

Excerpt

โ€œQuinn Miller? Is that really you?โ€

I turned, and my eyes landed on a face that I hadnโ€™t forgotten. โ€œGeorgia Reed.โ€

Her lips parted in a smile that lit up her entire face, and she jumped from the stool sheโ€™d been perched on next to where my sister had been sitting and threw her arms around my shoulders. โ€œI thought I saw you walk in earlier!โ€

I wrapped my arms around her waist and gave a quick squeeze before pulling back and looking her up and down.

Iโ€™d met Georgia last year at my best friend, Aidenโ€™s, Christmas party. Her brother was a famous orthopedic surgeon whoโ€™d saved Aidenโ€™s knee after a devastating hit. The two of them had forged a friendship, and Dr. Hampton Reed had brought his sister along when heโ€™d been invited to the famous Shaw Christmas Party.

Iโ€™d seen her from across the room that night, unable to miss the gorgeous auburn hair that sheโ€™d let flow down her back. Iโ€™d walked over to introduce myself, but her green eyes had sparkled when she informed me that she already knew exactly who I was.

I wasnโ€™t sure what Iโ€™d said after that, probably something ridiculous and cheesy, but weโ€™d spent the rest of the evening chatting.

โ€œHow ya been?โ€ I asked.

She stuck the straw that was floating in a pink drink between her pink lips and lifted a shoulder. After a quick sip of a fruity cocktail she said, โ€œSame old. What about you? I heard youโ€™d been traded and was hoping Iโ€™d run in to you sometime.โ€

Iโ€™d completely forgotten that the Reeds lived in Atlanta, where my new team was, but suddenly, that shitty trade that I was forced to accept didnโ€™t seem so bad after all.

โ€œHey.โ€ I glanced over to where my sister was eyeing us, her lips pressed together to conceal what had to have been the biggest shit-eating grin ever and squinted at her before turning and looking back to where Georgia was still sipping her drink. โ€œYou know, I donโ€™t know much about this town. Youโ€™re a local, right?โ€

โ€œThat I am. Born and bred in the great state of Georgia. You know, my parents, they probably could have been a little more original when they named me.โ€

โ€œAny chance youโ€™re free this weekend to play tour guide?โ€ I asked, hoping that I sounded fun and flirty and not like the pathetic loser that I felt like.

Jamie choked on a laugh and tried to cover it with a cough. I swung my head in her direction just as she covered her mouth and quickly looked away from my death glare. God, my kid sister was an asshole.

I felt fingertips on my bicep, forgetting my stupid sister immediately when I glanced down to see the perfectly manicured yellow fingernails that were resting on my arm. โ€œLet me make sure I am clear on what youโ€™re askinโ€™.โ€ Georgiaโ€™s eyes were gleaming, and she stepped closer to me. โ€œNow, am I going to show you the popular clubs and bars, the parks to take your dog, and the restaurants that cater to locals, and then youโ€™ll thank me and weโ€™ll go about our ways? Or is this tour going to consist of me taking you back to my place, and before I know it, your lips are on my neck and my dress is around my waist?โ€

My mouth fell open and I sputtered. โ€œI, uh, I, what?โ€

โ€œWell, you know at Aidenโ€™s Christmas party, after you kissed meยญยญโ€“โ€“โ€

โ€œWoah!โ€ I stepped back, her arm falling to her side. โ€œWhat are you talking about?โ€

Her head shook back and forth. โ€œIโ€™m not sure if I should be insulted or not that you are this clueless. We had a drink outside around the fire pit, and then you leaned in and kissed me, remember?โ€

โ€œThat is not at all what happened!โ€ I fired back incredulously. Iโ€™d had a couple of beers that night, but I never let myself get so drunk that I would completely forget kissing the gorgeous woman standing before me.

She frowned, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth, and I couldnโ€™t stop my eyes from watching the way she worked it. No, I would most definitely remember if my lips had tasted hers. โ€œItโ€™s not? Are you sure?โ€

My eyes bugged out of my head. โ€œIโ€™m pretty sure we didnโ€™t kiss. Think I would have remembered that.โ€

โ€œOh.โ€ She frowned. โ€œMaybe thatโ€™s just what I hoped would happen.โ€

My Review

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโœจ 4.5 out of 5-stsrs

A.S. Teague did a great job writing this story. There is a hard subject in this book that she dealt with in a great way.

Quinn is a great guy, heโ€™s kind, caring, loyal, and he has a secret that he doesnโ€™t want to share because it involves his little sister and he doesnโ€™t want to put her in a bad light. Heโ€™s been struggling with his career for the past couple of years and has been traded to the Atlanta Falcons. His life will change with this move and he will find more than he expected in Atlanta.

Georgia is the daughter of a Hall of Fame Football player, the younger sister of two brothers, and a strong-minded woman who will challenge Quinn and show him that life can be more than he ever expected. She will stand by him and pull him through some tough times.

I really liked this book and A.S. Teague did a great job writing it. The loyalty and commitment that Quinn has for his sister is commendable, but the support and caring that Georgia shows Quinn could bring him to his knees, but he also finds that no matter how hard he pushes Georgia was the stronger she will hold on and show him that she will be right by his side and help him through tough times and stand by his side always. I give this story a 4.5-star review. If you are a reader that enjoys sports stories, tough situations, strong women and men who will always protect the ones they love, then you will enjoy this story.

My โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ Review of Brutal & Raw (Beneventi Family Book 1) by Sonya Jesus @HiddenGemsBooks @Sonya_Jesus

Brutal & Raw

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ 5 out of 5

Wow! The title of this book is so accurate! Itโ€™s brutal, raw, twisted, and very dark.

She hasnโ€™t used her birth name in years. She hasnโ€™t been an honest woman or the law-abiding citizen that one would think she is when looking at her. She looks so innocent and a woman that lives the straight and narrow, but she had to do what was needed to survive and it wasnโ€™t always on the up and up. Now she finds herself in the most danger that she has ever been in and she is no longer called by a name but is referred to by a number. One fateful day she finds herself in a situation where she believes to be her lucky day. Little does she know that sheโ€™ll never be free or safe, no matter where she hides.

He took over the family business, by literally taking the position. He canโ€™t let anyone know the secrets that have been hidden in his family or his life will be in danger, and not only his, but the two people who are closest to him as well. He has so many secrets in his life. He doesnโ€™t trust anyone, not even his blood. The day he sees #327 his life starts changing and he still tries to hide things. She brings out a side of him that he never knew existed and it could get them both killed. He canโ€™t let anyone know that side of him and #327 has a hard time with the two sides that she sees of Breaker Beneventi. Heโ€™s a monster, but heโ€™s her monster.

This book was so dark and brutal, and it gave me some dark dreams, but I loved it. It was raw, dark, twisted, and oh so good to read. I canโ€™t wait for the next book in the series so that I can find out what will happen. The intrigue of whether these characters will get out of danger and find a way to move on with their lives and have a semi normal life is strong. For as dark and dangerous as Breaker is, his inner battle with himself about his feelings for Lyla (Mercy; 327) have given a deeper look into who he is and if he is human. If you like dark, brutal, twisted stories, then you really need to one-click this one and read it. Itโ€™ll pull you in and leave you exhausted but itโ€™s well worth it. I give this book a 5-star review and canโ€™t wait for more of the Beneventi Family. This was my first book by Sonya Jesus, but I bought Thirty-One Kisses right after I read this one so that I could read Kelseyโ€™s story.

Review of Snow: A Dark Mafia Romance (Colors of Crime Book 6) by Sophie Lark

Snow

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ โญ๏ธ 5 out of 5

She wasnโ€™t raised in the bratva. Sasha was raised like a princess and went to school to become a doctor. Sheโ€™s passed her exams is now ready to head home and find a job in a local hospital, maybe travel some when she can. Her family has always been pretty well off, they own a restaurant that has been in the family for a few generations. Sheโ€™s excited to get home and share with her parents that she has passed her exams with great scores. However, when she returns home, she notices a lot of changes with her father, the restaurant, and their home. She may not have been raised in the bratva, but she is not naรฏve, she knows how they work, and she is very aware of danger when you owe them.

Snow is fighter, but he does not fight for anyone but himself. He has dreams of becoming legit and making a real name for himself. When he hears of a tournament that can get that much closer to his dreams he is determined to fight, even if his training is not sure that heโ€™s ready for this tournament. He doesnโ€™t want to fight for any of the bratva bosses because he doesnโ€™t want to be owned by them. He fights a clean fight and he maintains his morals at all costs. When he first sees the young doctor at the tournament, he is drawn to her. He finds himself attracted to her and canโ€™t seem to turn his back on her, heโ€™ll put himself on the line to make sure that she is safe and free. It might cause him his life, but his determination could prevail too.

I love this story. These two are survivors and they are very protective of the people they care about in their lives. They will go through a lot of changes and will find the strength they both have deep inside to survive and they become stronger together. I give this story a 5-star review and recommend it to readers who enjoy mafia/bratva, suspense, women who find their strength when the people they care about could be in danger, and the men that will go to any extreme to protect the woman that steels their heart, as well as the people they are loyal to.

And there he was, showing off on his motorcycle like the cocky jerk I knew he would grow up to be. He pumped a glove-covered fist into the air when he crossed the finish line before he turned around and did a wheelie back down The Strip.
When he reached the end, he laid his front wheel down onto the asphalt and brought the rear of his bike up, pausing in midair. The crowd cheered for him, and he ripped his helmet from his head before pulling his handkerchief down and smiling at everyone around him.
Koah Saint.
The bane of my existence and the person who ruined my life. I hated him beyond the definition of the word. It was as though ten years hadnโ€™t passed. I loathed him just as much as the day he destroyed my world.
I stood in place as the group I was with moved to gather around him. I couldnโ€™t bring myself to do it. Instead, I stayed put and glared in his direction.
As if feeling my burning stare against his skin, he turned my way, and his eyes connected with mine. His olive skin flashed white before his cheeks filled with heat, his dark brows pulled low, and he glared back at me.
He hated me too.
Good.
I wanted the feeling to be mutual.
He climbed from his bike without taking his eyes away from me, and then as if people werenโ€™t crowded around him cheering, he started in my direction and left them behind. My spine and my shoulders grew stiff as I waited for him to reach me. I hadnโ€™t seen Koah since the day he lied on my father and sent him to prison, and I knew being near each other wasnโ€™t going to end well.
His eyes grew red, glowing with the type of fury he had no right to have toward me. If anyone had the right to be full of rage, it was me. He had turned my life into a tornado, ripping my possessions away before dumping me in the middle of nowhere with nothing.
He crossed his large, tattooed arms over his broad chest when he finally stood before me. He was no longer a young boy capable of lies and destruction. He had grown into something much more dangerous over the last ten yearsโ€”something desirable and untouchable. My heart skipped a beat, and I chastised myself for even letting those thoughts run through my mind.
โ€œTori,โ€ he said my name.
His voice was deep, reminding me once again that he was no longer a young boy.
โ€œKoah.โ€
He shook his head. โ€œItโ€™s Saint.โ€
โ€œIโ€™m not stupid. I remember your last name,โ€ I spat.
The side of his smooth, thick lips lifted, making the dimple in his cheek wink back at me.
โ€œNo one calls me Koah anymore. They call me Saint now.โ€
โ€œThey?โ€ I asked.
โ€œEveryone who knows me.โ€
I shrugged. โ€œWell, I donโ€™t know you.โ€
The grin slipped from his lips and his eyes hardened.
โ€œNo. You donโ€™t. Not anymore, anyway.โ€
Lies.
Every moment we had when we were youngerโ€”the friendship and even the tiny crush I had on himโ€”all of it was lies. He wasnโ€™t a good kid who had been stuck in a terrible situation. He was the terrible situationโ€”a bad boy with a nasty background. I knew about Koah and his pastโ€”the death of his mother and his murderous father. I didnโ€™t know details, but I did know he and his family were a black stain on the world.
โ€œI never knew you,โ€ I responded.
His jaws grew tight, making the muscles in his cheeks pop, and his brows pulled lower.
Good.
I wanted to get under his skin. I wanted to crawl within him and destroy his nerves.
โ€œWhat are you doing here, Tori?โ€ he snapped. โ€œBe careful. If anyone sees you, it might stain your rep.โ€
โ€œFuck you, Koah. Like I give a shit about having a reputation. I have real things to worry about.โ€
He pulled back as if I had offended him when I knew I hadnโ€™t. โ€œWoah. Little Miss Walsh barks back now.โ€
โ€œYeah, and my biteโ€™s worst than my bark these days. Thanks to you.โ€
He chuckled. โ€œIn that case, youโ€™re welcome.โ€
โ€œDonโ€™t,โ€ I growled.
โ€œDonโ€™t what?โ€
โ€œDonโ€™t pretend like you did me any favors.โ€
โ€œThe worldโ€™s a cruel place, Tori. Iโ€™d say giving you thicker skin and a mean bite is a favor. You should thank me.โ€
My mouth popped open, and I gasped. The audacity he had to even think such a thing much less say it out loud. He had destroyed my life with a lie. He hadnโ€™t given me anything but an angry heart, a lonely life, and a struggle to keep my head above water.
โ€œGo to hell, Saint,โ€ I hissed the name he now went by.
He moved closer, towering over me with his caramel-colored Hawaiian skin and dark eyes. Again, his jaw popped as he glared down at me.
โ€œI went to Hell the second I saw your face again. Now do me a favor and leave.โ€

Koah Saint

Son of Sinister. Drug dealer. The number one stunner on The Strip and a BIG FAT LIAR.

They bow to him like heโ€™s the holy grail, but I know heโ€™s really the devil.

Since the day he was dropped on our doorstep, Iโ€™ve wanted him out of my life.

Heโ€™s a black stain on my memory and the one who put my father away.

Because of him, Iโ€™m flipping burgers instead of lying on beaches. To say he ruined my life would be an understatement.

Ten years later, I still canโ€™t stand the guy, but even I can admit heโ€™s sexy beyond belief. I wonโ€™t fall for his lusty looks and boyish charms. Thereโ€™s nothing he can say or do to me to make me believe heโ€™s anything but a lying playboy.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ 4 out of 5

Logan Savage joined the Air Force right out of high school and after the death of his mother, his only remaining relative was his older sister and she couldnโ€™t talk him out of it. He served until he was honorably discharged after his chopper went down and he was injured. Now, heโ€™s a scientist working for the Government, owns a bar, and is the president of the Savage Hell MC, a chapter of the Royal Bastards MC.

Bowie Wolfe is in the Army and has been watching Savage for about a week now trying to get up the courage to talk to him.

Dallas is a woman that went out with Savage for about a month, until he hightailed it and never spoke to her again. She was hurt and angry with him for how he treated her. When she sees him out at a bar almost a year later, she canโ€™t keep the anger at bay and gives him the evil eye.

I liked this story. It has some danger, a lot of heat, and an MC that is family and has each-others backs. It also has a rival MC that causes them trouble and tries to take what they believe to be theirs but never was. I give the story a 4-star review. If you like MCโ€™s, age difference relationships and non-traditional relationships, you should read Savage Heat. I look forward to the next story Roadkill.
