Let me tell you why I’m so excited…

💜 BLURB 💜
Being the first female Navy SEAL is no easy job, but someone’s got to dismantle the patriarchy. Rachel Ryker, call sign ‘Skylark,’ can out run and out gun just about anybody, and with her second in command, Christopher Williams, by her side, she’s practically unstoppable. Christopher would follow Rachel to hell and back… or maybe just to the Middle East. When a top-secret malware code is stolen from the CIA, Rachel and Christopher lead their SEAL team through the Middle East in an attempt to recover it.

They both have their own reasons for fighting, but as the team gets closer to finding the stolen malware, Rachel discovers that the man they’re looking for may be closer to her than she thinks. Will Rachel’s obsession with completing their mission override her common sense and causes her to lose sight of what is really important- keeping women and children safe from the oppressive patriarchy they are all living in?

With secrets, pride, and a strict no fraternization policy keeping them apart, falling in love would mean sacrificing everything Rachel and Christopher have worked for. But when Rachel gets injured in combat, everything changes. Now Rachel will have to choose: does her devotion to the Navy outweigh her love for Christopher?

We are celebrating the New Release of ☞ Seer (A MorningStar MC Novel, New Orleans Chapter Book 1) by D. Williams – 4⭐ Review included

Title: Seer
Series: A MorningStar MC Novel, New Orleans Chapter Book 1
Author: D. Williams
Genre: MC Romance
Tropes: Instalove; Poly Family; He Falls First
Release Date: September 23, 2024

I have always been the odd man in the group.

I was the kid with two moms, the boy who wore women’s clothing more often than not, and the first guy to bring two girls to prom.

I turn heads wherever I go because of my eccentric style and life choices that most do not understand or accept.

New Orleans was the first place that ever felt like home, so when I was granted permission to start my own chapter, I left the judgmental looks of my hometown behind.

Life was fantastic in the Big Easy until an unexpected visitor walked into my brewery, stealing my attention and making me lose my focus. I’ve always been very perceptive.

Some have even called me clairvoyant.

But her?

I did not see it coming, and I saw everything.

I’m a retired 43-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I’m addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn’t do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don’t need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I’ll get it right.

My Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5

A new chapter in the series. Seer is the president of the MorningStar MC: New Orleans Chapter and he is a bit different than most. He is in a poly relationship. There is a lot of twists and turn in this story, but it’s a good start to the chapter.

There’s danger, storms, twisted characters, and steamy scenes. This is my first read of D. Williams, but I am planning to read the next two books in this new series to come. I’m looking forward to the stories.

I like the characters and the premise of the story and I’m looking forward to reading the stories for the other characters in this series. It was a fairly quick read.
